Classic short ugg boot, gray - I’m happy with them. But I had to order extra pairs to make sure I got a pair that fits. They’re all different. Most pairs are a bit too big and my heels slip even though I’m ordering a size down (5, when I normally wear 6). The pair I settled on is comfy. I do notice the shearling in the gray ones seems different from that in the older classic colors)... it doesn't seem as plush. Maybe that's another reason the boots feel looser.

No arch support means I now have plantar fasciitis - I got my Uggs classic short in brown, really liking the look of them. It is cold and often damp where I live and I wanted something I could wear with skirts, pants, etc. Unfortunately after over a year of wearing them a couple of times a week, I've developed severe heel pain from the lack of cushioning or support. I had to get orthotics, which luckily do fit in them, but still do not solve the problem of the cheap, flat soles. These shoes hurt my feet! Also, even with waterproofing spray, they get wet easily. Not a shoe for being outdoors in the rain! Overall, much less practical or comfortable than I had expected after reading the reviews. I continue to wear them when my foot isn't hurting for short trips down the block or when I am biking in cold weather and it isn't raining, but now wish I had bought a sturdier and more supportive shoe. Also, it is hard to tell how one is supposed to wash or clean them when they get smelly inside. Wearing them without socks was not an option for this reason, but they are still a bit musty.

So comfy! I love the way they feel against my skin and find myself wishing I could wear them to work everyday even though I think they are some of the ugliest shoes I have ever seen. I do think there could be a little more padding to walk on. I normally wear an 8 or 8.5 for dress shoes and found the 8 to be huge on me.

Comfortable and warm. Runs one size big. I ordered a 7 and usually wear an 8. Overall a great casual boot to wear on chilly winter days.

Comfortable, Warm & Stylish... Shoe is very comfortable and will definitely keep you warm. They only come in whole sizes so if you’re a 6 1/2 get a 6.

I love these boots so much. They are warmer than I thought they'd be on a cold NYC day! They run a full size larger than marked, so order a size down.

A Mile in my Shoes: The Leaky Experience - I see these shoes everywhere, and I figured they had to be top notch shoes. I had a similar "off-brand" pair and absolutely loved them, so I decided to buy the real deal. When they arrived, I could already tell that they were a good buy. Good quality, sturdy, and when walking in the cold weather, very warm for your feet. My only disappointment would the waterproof factor, or the lack thereof. If you plan on walking in snow, or anywhere really that has moisture/water, then plan on water invading your shoes and getting your feet wet. My other shoes did not do this, and I paid much more for the Uggs than I did for the others. That's the only reason why I'm not happy. Other than this, I love these shoes and plan on buying more when mine wear out. I'll just wear thick socks, and try to avoid all wet substances on the ground.

Love them but damaged now - I love these boots but after wearing them only a few times, the seam broke.

We found this pair of size 8 UGG boots to run very small. My daughter is still working on trying to break them in as she has two other pairs of UGG boots in the same size and they were not this short.

Super comfortable! I wasn't in love with the look of the boot, but they are so comfortable, I don't even care!! I can't bring myself to wear anything else. I was a little disappointed to find that UGG Australia boots are actually made overseas.

Nice. This boot is comfortable, nice-looking and warm. However, I don't consider them to be outdoor, winter boots. For winter outdoor wear, I like The North Face.

Yummy but... Love Uggs and I like my short brown boots a lot, too. I wish they had more arch support.

I wanted boots that were cushy, as I have heel spurs. These are comfortable in the heels. I believe that I will put some arch supports in them if I am going to wear them all day and do much walking. Overall I found them to be quite comfortable.

Love my Uggs almost 100%!! Ordered these and received them in just 2 mailing days! Perfect timing before we got our first snow. I wore these 3 days and absolutely loved them- -everything was perfect. After the 3rd day, a "clicking" sound is now heard with each step I take, from each boot. It's like an air pocket somewhere in the sole. I tried wearing socks with them, to see if that was the problem, but I still hear this "click" with each step. If that wasn't present, I'd say these are the best footwear item you can buy; the money is SO worth it. The clicking is irritating to me and others at work. =(

My Ugg Boots - I love the boot, very comfortable and stylish. Not the right boot for walking on the slippery snow, but that is stated right in the boot information. I got a size and a half smaller than I usually wear. And I LOVE Zappos.

Comfy Boots! I really like these boots now that they have been broken in. The heel was very stiff at first and caused blisters. I would recommend wearing for short periods at first until boot is broken in. They are very light weight and warm. I am a college student in Minneapolis and they are great to wear on campus!

Uggs Classic Short-Grey - As most people have said, definitely order a size down. I was reluctant to follow the manufacturer suggestions of wearing the Uggs without socks, but once you do it feels quite normal and very soft inside. These are not the most attractive boots, but they are cute with jeans for casual wear.

I wish this great winter boot came in half sizes for a better fit. However, I have been buying it for several years because it so warm and so squishishly comfortable. It is very hard to wear another boot or shoe. For someone with foot problems this boot could be the answer.

VERY COMFORTABLE! I purchased these in the brown. I never thought that I would buy them because they are so unattractive. However, I finally gave in and I am so happy I did. They are warm and comfortable. I would definitely recommend these boots especially if you live in a cold weather climate, but be sure to buy them one full size smaller than your usual size (they run big).

My 1st UGGS - I am very happy with my boots - they keep my feet nice and toasty & are really soft inside. I can be on my feet for long periods of time with no problem. They look great under boot cut jeans. For wear with dress slacks on a cold morning, I wish that the toe area was not as rounded as it is. Before ordering online, I tried the boot on in a different color (black was out of stock) and I got a size smaller than what I normally get in a shoe.

Great boot, super comfy but beware of "blackfoot" As most people know, Uggs is total comfort!! A great comfy boot with style for casual wear. Once drawback is if you follow the manufacturer recommendation to wear without socks, you will find the black dye rubs off on your feet and is extremely difficult to get off, not to mention unattractive. The boot is so comfortable it does outweigh the dye problem.

Ugg boots! These dark brown Uggs are really cute! I found I needed a 7 when I usually wear a 7.5 or 8. No arch support though, so don't plan on wearing them if you're planning long walks.

No arch support - I think these are great looking boots and I have two pairs but I also have high arches and these boots have absolutely no arch support; hence the need for arch support orthotics. I wear an 8 and ordered an 8, which I think help with the arch support inserts. Also, I had to return a pair of the mini boots because I could not get my foot into them.
