I am a mother of a big big boy! I needed a pair of shoes for his Prom that would be good looking, filled with a certain quality and was most of all comfortable for him to stand, dance and have a great time in! Well I am happy to say that my boy came home from the Prom and stated after a long night of the (prom): "Mom I had a great time and not once were my shoes uncomfortable. I feel like I can go even longer on my feet." That was the test and I must say they were absolutely beautiful on his feet, highly recommend, and thank you!! , now I have a place to come for my son's big and tall needs, a place that I can trust...HE WILL WEAR THEM FOR GRADUATION DAY AS WELL :)

Classic - Classic black shoe, very nice and a slightly square toe so it's up to date and current in style mantra.

Excellent Product - Required build up was easy and worked well.

No complaints here - This is not the first time I purchased Rockports, and I buy them because of the fit and the look of the shoes, especially when you have big feet like me.

Needs break-in - The Evander shaved a few layers of skin off my left pinkie toe the first two days I wore them. After that painful break-in period, they fit comfortably now, though it still feels sometimes as if the moderately tightened laces are hampering blood circulation to my feet. Both shoes have developed perforations on the sides after 1-2 weeks, but it might be because of my skinny feet. The shoes look better than the rather unflattering photos shown here.

I couldn't be happier! These shoes are so comfortable. They have very nice insoles, keep my flat feet happy without my inserts. They look just like the picture. Not to old school, but dressy enough. Love the soles, these seem like they will last for awhile!

These shoes were comfortable from the very first. I especially appreciate their waterproof characteristics. I tend to be easy on shoes as I only wear them for their intended purpose – in this case, office work. Only in this last year have they shown signs inside the shoe that it's time for a new pair. Wish they came in brown or cordovan. Will definitely be ordering these again soon.

These shoes run long, and a little narrow. I usually wear an 11EEEE and these were too long in 11EEEE. I ordered the 10 1/2 EEEE and the length was fine. The shoes are wide, but feel a little narrow for a EEEE--felt more like a EE. Support is great. I thought they felt stiff compared to my old Rockports but when I tried on an old Rockport on one foot and a new one on the other, the old one felt broken down and unsupportive.

I like them,but i have a pair of loafers with the same toe style. I will be exchanging them for another pair very soon

Squeaky! This issue has been mentioned in previous reviews and I'm sad to say that the shoes I received were squeaky too. Also, the laces are too slippery and don't stay tied, I'll have to replace those. With both of those negatives, I DO like the comfort and style of these shoes.

Shoe is comfortable out of the box. Easy to wear. They look very nice. The only thing I don't enjoy is that the polished leather squeaks a bit.

I like these shoes. They look nice and are very sturdy (good support). I also like the fact that they are waterproof. No more stepping in puddles in the parking lot on a rainy day and having wet shoes. Not that I recommend trying to jump in puddles as if these are rain boots. Feet kind of overheat after a few hours of wear but overall great shoes.

I am an airline pilot. I bought these shoes because there're airport friendly and comfortable. Well, they're not airport friendly. I have to take them off every time I pass through security. The comfort level is okay right now. I have worn these shoes for two weeks. The soles of the shoes are pretty good. There is a little fatigue involved, but that maybe just breaking in a new shoe. The problem I have is with my ankle. The lip that comes underneath your ankle really bites. The leather is slowly stretching, but there is still some discomfort involved. One benefit the shoes offer is they are quite. I hate walking in uniform and have my shoes squeak. I think the shoe looks great! I think it will stretch. I will probably buy another pair, if my current pair stretch.

After a couple years of light use these shoes are structurally sound; but the color on the trim is worn off and I cannot wear these anymore. Shoe polish did not do the trick. At least I got a couple of years out of them!

I ordered these for my husband. Initially, he felt some tightness around the toes on the right shoe only, but after a couple of wearings they were fine.

Great feel and support, but the shoe looks 'plastic'. Being a weatherproof leather would explain the shine. Video shows the shoe being worn with a pair of jeans; this would be a bad match.

This is a nice shoe generally, but I thought the leather looked a bit plasticy and it was very hot even just wearing it in the living room for a bit. I wound up returning them.

A workhorse office shoe. Looks and feels a bit plastic-like initially and the finish is more matte than appears in the photo. However, I really like the classy, understated styling which looks as good with a suit as it does with more casual clothes. Makes packing for a trip a snap. Though not as light as the Rockport DresSports line, I was happy with their lightweight design. The waterproof crafting is fantastic for rainy climates or jobs demanding a lot of outdoor time in a suit. It has been a couple of weeks and they are still a bit stiff but are beginning to break-in quite nice. Overall, I'd definitely recommend these shoes to anyone who is concerned more about function but still appreciates a classic look in their office footwear.

Third time purchased Rockport waterproof shoes and consistent in its manufacture. Basic styling looks good for work. Waterproofing is a plus.

I wear them to work and walk a good deal in them. Quite comfortable. Only (minor) minus is shoe rubs ankle at opening sometimes (even after me working them in for some time). This has gotten better over time. Good for rain/bad weather, too.

Good Business Casual Shoe - This is a good business causal shoe. The finish is good, and it fits well. I am a fairly big guy (6’3”, 250 lbs) so my shoes take a beating. So far I am happy with this purchase and it seems it will stand up well to daily wear.

Nice dressy shoe - This shoe was quite stiff upon arrival. It has taken several weeks of periodic wear to break in. They now feel fine. I would not want to walk a mile in these shoes, though. Good for office wear or even to a classical concert.

Rockport Rocks - I have a very wide foot and find that Rockport accommodates my feet better than other brands I have tries.

Nice compromise - Overall decent shoes, they are Rockports after all. The fit is ok. They will need some break in but for a shoe this style that is normal. Seem well made, only time will tell.
