I was searching for a comfortable dress black shoe for work and came across these. I have bunions, so I've got to have a wide shoe. I ordered them in extra wide and they fit great! They don't have the appearance of a wider shoe on my feet. I'm very pleased with them. Another thing I like is they aren't a heavy shoe. I would recommend these to anyone.

My husband likes them! He's very picky about shoes. It's hard to find them in his size-12 EEEE. Unlike some Rockports, these probably are only good for dress, or at least casual dress. They wouldn't look good with jeans. My husband says they are comfortable and true-to-size, but are requiring some break-in period. Both my husband and I think they are sharp looking. In general, these are a winner.

This is a great shoe and a comfortable fit. I wear it at least 4-5 days a week for business and causal wear. Had this shoe for a year so far, and overall the shoe has held up well, including keeping my feet dry in the recent rains.

My husband bought these shoes and he's very happy with them. They run true to size, though FYI, he does have a narrow foot. He's very fussy about foot comfort and these shoes seem to meet his standards.

It's a Rockport. It fits, it's comfortable, and it lasts.

These shoes fit very well right out of the box and I experienced no discomfort whatsoever. I have worn them to work almost every day for 9 months now and they have held up very well. I am about to purchase my second pair of Rockports because they have finally begun to look worn out. I walk at least 5 miles a day for my job and I was able to wear these shoes in the snow through a cold Chicago winter and throughout a rainy spring and summer. I would highly recommend these shoes if you are looking for a dress shoe that holds up to a beating. These shoes will not let you down.

I have worn this same pair of Rockport's for about a year and a half now. They have kept well, and I wear them for all occasions. Business formal, business casual, with slacks, with jeans and they are as comfortable as they are versatile. I am going to order another pair soon as I didn't do the best job at keeping them polished and clean. I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice, dressy, comfortable shoe.

This is one heavy duty shoe, thick, tough and hard leather. The tongue will rub into your ankle until they wear in. Do not expect these to adjust much to your foot, so order big. I had to go extra length and width to get a fit. Although a bit clunky, they fit well and the waterproof feature is handy. I will not order these again, as my need for waterproof shoes in Los Angeles is limited and the shoe is just not the supple, glove leather kind I prefer. If you live in the Midwest or Northeast, great, but this is not a summer or warm weather kind of shoe.

Best dress shoes ever owned at the listed price. About to get two more pair! They last about 1 year 1/2. I have flat feet and a job that requires dress shoes every day.

Okay, so this shoe just wore out so I checked to see if Zappos still carried it. Yes they do and yes I am re-ordering but perhaps the icing on the cake is that it is now January of 2012 and I bought the original pair in 2009! And wore to work at least three times a week, not to mention a few muddy after school baseball games to watch the kid. Gotta love 'em! Still comfortable after all these years but a small separation in seam on the top made me think it was time for a new pair!

Bought these for my son who needed a good looking and comfortable shoe for work. He said they were so comfortable right out of the box and they looked great!

These were a gift for a 26 year old man. He loved them, said they were true-to-size and very comfortable. They look good on him and don't present themselves as 'old man' shoes, which is what I was trying to avoid. A good choice!

Very comfortable shoes. I wear the with my orthotics which fit well inside. If the brown ones were available in my size I would've come back to buy those too.

This shoe fit great right out of the box. I have been wearing them most days for three weeks and they feel just as comfortable as when I first put them on. I have narrow feet (12 B) and these fit well, just a little loose, but better than most shoes marked as narrow.

Excellent shoes, just what I wanted and interestingly, I couldn't find them sold by any retailer in the Washington DC area, i.e., not the size and narrow width.

This is the second pair of these for my son! He wears them for work. Comfortable and fit nicely. He wear a 13 which are not always easy to find.

Shoe feels good and it wears good. It takes about two or three days' worth of wear and tear to make it feel good on your feet. If you put it on and immediately feel pain and want to send it back after your first day wearing it, don't. It will conform but you need to give it time.

These shoes are extremely comfortable, and are good for casual and business wear. They required no breaking in as the leather is soft, and there is plenty of room in the toe box. Once again, Zappos was on target with delivery, as we have come to expect.

Shoe fits well in a size, 13N, that is difficult to find. The shoe is comfortable, and seems to be well made.

I love these shoes! I was looking for a dressier shoe that was as comfortable as a casual shoe, and the Rockport Evander is it.
