The shoes fit great and are real comfortable, now. However, it did take about 2 weeks to break in the shoes; they hurt for awhile.

My husband has a very difficult time finding comfortable shoes and buying and wearing new shoes are always an ordeal...However, as soon as he put these Rockports on he was delighted. He said they fit perfectly, were extremely comfortable and he didn\'t need to break them in like he usually does! Thank you Zappos!!!

I love Rockport shoes. They are so comfortable. I have wide feet. I wear my heels out after about a year of daily use. This pair is comfortable although not as comfortable as the Ellingwood. Zappos is great. Good fast service.

I purchased for the first time a Rockport dress shoe. The Rockport Evander is wonderful. After many years of wearing usual leather shoes this Rockport is the best! Very comfortable. I had a problems with other shoes but so far (one month) they feel great. I still need to see how they survive a shoe shine but I would recommend you buy a pair. I probably will get a second for Christmas.

I have an office job that entails a fair amount of walking during the work day. I was looking for a comfortable dress shoe that is compatible with "business casual" attire. This shoe has a sole similar to the sole on a pair of Rockport penny loafers that I have owned for several years, so I decided to try it. I've been wearing the shoes for several weeks; they are terrific! Light and very comfortable. The sole is stiffer than that typically found in casual shoes, but not rock-hard. The insole is nicely padded. My middle-aged feet feel great at the end of the day. They still look like new despite having endured several weeks of rain. I highly recommend them.

Excellent shoe, extremely comfortable. Since I have narrow feet, it is difficult to find shoes that fit well. These are true to size and width. I wear these while walking around Houston at lunch time (about a mile walk) and my feet have no problems. Not a fancy design, but a good shoe for business wear.

This was my first buying experience with Zappos. It was fantastic. The shoes run bigger than their size. I had to reorder a size smaller to get the fit I desired. I was able to get the new pair the following day. Zappos did not even wait for me to return the original pair. The shoes are typical Rockport. They are comfortable and after about 3 all day wearings, they felt like an old comfortable pair. The leather is of high quality and bring out a good shine. I am not crazy about the laces, though. They tend to come untied. I will be getting another pair of laces. I would recommend this shoe to anyone with a wide foot. I got the 4e and it is great for my wide foot.

Good looking shoe that's really very comfortable. I was looking for a dress shoe to replace my dress Geox shoes. I tried everything from Kenneth Cole, Allen Edmonds, Johnston and Murphy, Cole Haan, etc, but none seemed as comfortable as these.

I needed comfortable dress shoes for work that didn't look casual. From the first time I put these on I was hooked. No problems and now I wear them too much. I actually need another pair so that I don't wear them out. Good value and always incredible service from Zappos.

This is my second pair of Rockports from Zappos.com. I love them, because they fit perfect. I have narrow feet and hunting for dress shoes was always a pain! These Evanders are easy on the feet when you wear them all day!

The Rockport Evander is a great business shoe. My work involves a great deal of walking in office and field settings and this model offers very good comfort, support, durability, and also repels water. Also, I have narrow feet and the shoe fits very well. Overall, a solid shoe.

Excellent shoes. Very wide! Fit my husband who has a very hard time finding wide enough shoes. Great price - the last pair cost a lot more! I recommend them for anyone who wears dress shoes all day and has wide feet. These are great!
