Yeah, yeah, I know, some of you may not believe all the 'rave' reviews shown here. I, too, was skeptical but the shoes arrived quickly and they fit as well as any other shoe I've ever stepped into. Being Rockport I know the quality is second to none...and the price is about half what I'd pay in a brick-and-mortar store. I could not be more pleased. These guys are the real deal. Kudos!

I re-order these shoes every year for my son. It is the only shoe he wears because all other shoes hurt his feet so bad. I hope they never quit making this shoe. He normally wears a 13 but in this shoe I buy a size 12 in a wide so they run a little bigger than your normal shoe size. I love shopping at Zappos - my order comes right away, I never have to "track" my order and although I rarely need to return or exchange, when I do it is free and hassle free!

I was pretty apprehensive about these shoes, I carefully wore them for two hours around the house - I had failed to assess two other pairs last year and never liked them - these felt pretty reasonable. Next night, I have to go to a for a dinner dance. They were totally comfortable, all night, on my first long wear, I danced for an hour in them without any pain, blisters or regret. They fit a guy with size 14 feet right out of the box! I cannot comment about arch support as I use orthotics all the time.

Theses shoes were good out of the box. I wore them for about six hours the first day with no problems. You can always count on Rockport to have a good product in the wider widths!

I bought these to wear with a suit to a wedding. It's always hard to tell online what a shoe will look or feel like, but out of the box my first reaction was that they looked like something other than leather. They are very shiny. As a dress shoe to wear with a suit, that's okay, but they are too shiny for my tastes for much else. That's the only negative I have. I wear orthotics, and this is the first pair of dress shoes where the inserts didn't make the shoes feel "shallow." They worked beautifully. The shoes fit great, looked great with the suit and are very comfortable. For "comfortable" shoes, they look (from all angles) like conventional dress shoes. As always, the Zappos service was exceptional. I received these shoes less than 24 hours after I ordered them.

This shoe is at least 1 size larger. I wear orthotic inserts and when I removed the sock liner it was almost an inch longer than the orthotic.

I have had these shoes for about a month and have worn them often. They are very comfortable. I ordered them in a wide and they are wide enough. Great work shoes.

I purchased about three or four other pairs of black dress shoes before I got back to these ones (second pair purchased). They do look the best and fit well all around.

This is the second time I've bought these shoes. I usually get them because they are one of the few nice pairs that come in a narrow width. The strange thing is, I ordered them in "N" and they were too tight. I exchanged them for a "M" and they fit great. So I don't know if my foot has gotten wider or the lasts are running narrower these days.

Zappos is a wonderful site with large selections and good prices. Great shoes, I have been using Rockport shoes for over 15 years and love them.

These shoes Rock! Although they look somewhat plain, they are snazzy and I wear them with dress pants or khaki pants. For me, there was no break-in time and the fit was great right out of the box. Zappos shipping got the shoes to my front door the next day! Wow, what great service.

This is my second pair! Plan on breaking them in before attending your first conference. Once you have they are great quality with durability. I wear them during trade shows and they feel great.

These shoes were a gift to my husband who loved them! Most comfortable shoes ever.

Really rough brake in period. Don't walk long distances before broken in. After they are broken in they are the most comfortable dress shoes I have ever owned. I walk almost 2 miles round trip to commute for work and my sneakers are only slightly better.

Great shoes. Comfortable right out of the box for the amount of walking and standing I do on a daily basis. Really stands up to any weather.

Very sharp look. Leather shine keeps well. Was able to wear right out of the box; no break in. Used shoe forms to keep from creasing. overall good shoe for price. Seems like it was last.

Got these shoes to walk my daughter down the aisle and then dance the night away at the reception. Tried them on and they fit nicely but took them off to save them for the wedding. Day of the wedding I put them on about noon...and took them off at 1 am early morning the next day. Perfect! Never been disappointed in Zappos service or the shoes I get. I am a 9 EEE which makes my shoe shopping difficult to say the least. Zappos you make my life so much better...thanks.

I have become a fan of Rockport because they look nice (I mean, come on, they're Rockport), comfortable (great sole comfort, plus you can take out and add your own) and durable (I wore these shoes all year round through the four seasons). I purchased my first pair on July of 2009 and I am still wearing them (June 2013), but I am now retiring them for good and getting a new pair. It was a little hard to break them in but that may have been my own fault for not ordering them wider. I was so happy with my first pair (black) that I ordered a second pair (old oxford) some months later that are being retired as well. On a side note I bought two pair of cheaper dressy shoes this year (2013) and they didn't last me even 6 months, so if you're worried about price believe me, they are a good investment. Enjoy!

The size was wrong. I ordered an 11.5 Narrow and received an 11.5 wide. The box said narrow but the shoe was wide.

Bought several shoes from Zappos the last few months and delivery is outstanding. I am extremely satisfied. This is a very comfortable shoes, a bit wide but acceptable. Good grip on slippery grounds. Lightweight, very decent style and looks. No break in necessary for me. Appropriate and comfortable for all day use at the office or for dressy occasion after work. I always trust Rockport in comfort, durability and style. I have their Loafers, Oxfords and Boat shoes. I am now shopping for my old boat shoes replacement.

I recently replaced my second pair of these shoes with a third pair. I ordered the same size as previously, but the new shoes fit tightly and I couldn't wear them. I looked at the label and the new shoes and found that the new shoes were made in Vietnam, while the old shoes were made in the Phillipines. The new shoes are apparently made from a different, narrower pattern. Zappos promptly replaced them with a EE size and they fit well.

The thing about these shoes and virtually all of the Rockport shoes is the way you don't have to break them in. They support your foot and provide a great deal of comfort to wear them all day. I will ultimately have all Rockport shoes in my closet.

Great looking shoe. Was a little hard to break in. It took 3 full days of wear before total comfort. However, once broke in a great feeling shoe.

I bought these for a friend as an Xmas gift. He already had a pair that he absolutely loved for traveling. They were scuffed and several years old. He could not find an exact replacement for them anywhere. I found them on Zappos.com. He said it was the best surprise Xmas gift ever!
