Love this boot - I had to return for the 9 1/2. Can't wait till they get here. They look great with jeans!

I really am happy with the olive 12' Fryes I ordered. They fit well (one blister the first time I wore them, but nothing after) and are very well constructed. They are the perfect boots for that funky hick look, with denim mini and velvet blazer or fishnets and a black pleated skirt, they also are great for just kicking on with jeans for a very casual look!

Great Out of the Box - These boots wear like your favorite worn leather jacket right out of the box. My husband said he had Fryes in college and they were the best boots he has ever owned. I'm already in agreement after having worn them one day. Zappos, you're the best!

Great Boots - Absolutely fabulous boots! Classic, that will be in style and last for years!!

Kickin' boot - Love this boot. I have a wide foot with a high arch/instep and have difficulty at times fitting in boots. I bought this and the similar Harley Davidson boot in a shorter upper. I found this a tad more comfy and a bit more feminine. These feel broken in to my foot already. The longer top also makes it more versitile. Will see how well they do in the cold snowy days to come. Of course if it is real snowy, the snow boots come on!

Careful of a high instep! I am in l-o-v-e with these boots. Want to let you know, however, that if you have a high instep, beware! I've worn them continually for 2 weeks to try and get them to be easier to get on! (They're finally starting to submit, but believe me! they're a workout at first!) This is a normal problem with boots for persons with a high instep.

I received these boots for Christmas, and was afraid my orthotics wouldn't fit. They do with a little work. The more I wear them the more they accommodate. These boots look great. I will probably wear them in Summer too. Especially on my Husband's motorcycle.

Great transitional boots - Great look! I was looking for the perfect boot, and have found it! 'Didn't want any zippers or buckles. 'Wanted to be able to wear jeans or a skirt with them. I can dress them up or down. Great with jeans (make me look taller and thinner). 'Have also worn them out with a sleeveless dress and pearls and look dressy but edgy. The heel height is perfect for all-day-long walking or standing. The way the heel is undercut makes them look less clunky than the Frye "Campus Boots". (I had a pair in 1978 and saw my sister-in-law with brand new ones on recently from Zappos. -That made me consider looking at Fryes again.) The rubber sole was a selling-point, too. -Not at all slippery, nor does it mark my hardwood floors. Overall, I'm very happy. -And happy with Zappos 110% price protection policy and service. Oh, regarding fit, they seemed a tiny bit snug across the metatarsals, but are breaking-in nicely.

Gotta love Fryes! I love this boot! It is not a feminine boot but it looks great with jeans or long skirts and you can feel very feminine wearing it (although with just a touch of attitude!). I wear these (and my Frye Campus boots) all over campus and they're comfortable during all day walking. Get yourself a pair!

Great boot - The boots look and fit better than I expected. I spend a lot of time outside with my children and these boots are durable but look great. Also, I received my order much sooner than expected, which was a nice surprise. Thanks.

My Sole Mates! I'm a ridiculous shoe fiend, obsessed with shoes, own great numbers of shoes, can't fit them all into my bedroom. So, given all the choices available to me daily, it's really quite special when a shoe makes it to heavy rotation, and the Frye Women's Harness made it there on the first day! Exceptionally comfy, requires a wee bit of breaking in if your foot tends to be wider, looks amazing with everything from denim, to tweed to girly skirts. This boot was made for minis! I get tons of compliments every time I wear them.

Too good to be true! This is a case of love at first sight. I thought for sure that my high instep would have prevented me from getting my feet in them, but alas, they fit like a dream. The insole is extremely cushy and comfortable. The rubber sole is flexible. Made in the USA. There almost couldn't be a better boot, but I, too, wish the heel were taller. But that's no big deal. Frye's Harness boot is great.

Too flat. I ordered these thinking they were a bit more feminine looking than they are. I would prefer that they have a slightly taller heel, maybe another inch. Frye's are great boots but perhaps a bit too authentic for me.

Wonderfully Tough Boots! Getting these boots was a dream come true. I had lusted after these boots for the longest time after I saw them in an issue of Allure. I was finally able to buy them, and I absolutely LOVE them. They are tough-looking without being clunky or manly. They look like you could tiptoe around and then kick somebody's butt. They are comfortable and warm and have accomplished the impossible... They make me look forward to colder weather so that I can start wearing them again! The best part is that the more you wear them, the better they look. So buy them and wear the heck out of them. You'll love them.

Definitely a classic. These are stylish, rough, and sexy all at the same time. I tend to wear more feminine styles, but I love to pair my tough-girl Fryes with frilly skirts. I like the contrast. People don't know what to think. Frye's are the best. I still have a pair from college ten years ago.

Footwear Hall Of Fame Entry - This city chicken recently acquired these boots after finding them in a most unexpected venue. I was so excited that I literally wore them out of the store. I work in a very upscale, fashion-aware enviroment, no stranger to the fashions heirarchy, and these have held their own with many, many compliments and inquiries. In a word, people are jealous! I own one other pair of Fryes, a black lace-up. After fifteen years of hard use, they're still roadworthy and, believe it or not, still garner the compliments. These are amazing boots. From the beginning, they were an all day wear. Frye deserves complete respect and admiration for continuing to produce a product that has upheld quality, durability and desirability. The weathered brown color is completely wonderful and authentic in all ways. The construction is amazing and comfortable. They have a western edge, but in a subtle and fashion forward sense. These boots leave no doubt that they could go through hell and high water! They have my vote for inclusion into the fashion hall of fame. P.S. Ralph Laurens' stylists use lots of Frye products for their shoots and runways. LOVE!

Great, but a little narrow - These boots look great and are very high quality. They look like they will last me a great while. The only thing is they are pretty narrow and hard to get off. I plan on having them stretched a little to help with that. Besides that, they still are very nice boots.

Very Cool Boots - I hesitated for a long time before I bought this boot. But now that I have it, I'm glad that I did. I usually wear a size 10 in boots, because of the toes, but I bought my size, (9.5) and it fits great. It’s very comfortable. My negatives are that, it’s a little heavy and makes you "walk like a cowgirl". Yea I’m stomping every where I go, you sure hear me coming and the back does slip off a little off your heel, but it's all good.

I love this boot. My only complaint is that I find them very hard to put on. Also, these boots run a whole size larger than normal. They are very narrow in the toe, but once you break them in, fit like a glove and are very comfy.

Good Stuff - The boots look great, a bit smaller than I thought. They are not that comfortable but I just got them so... If you have wide feet these are not the boot for you.

Nice boot - Good boot, I also ordered a size down, usually wear an 8.5 or 9 and fit well into the size 8 Frye boot. I have slender calves and the boot is a little wide on top--too big to wear w/ skirts, and too big to wear under slim fitting jeans. Wish the boots were more slender in the calf area. Left boot is amazingly comfortable, but the right one is feels narrower in the toe area. Probably just my foot. But overall I like these boots!
