I wanted to love this shoe as I have one pair of Naots and they are made for real feet, and are comfortable. Unfortunately my heel slips in these, and I don't think I could wear a whole size smaller as I have a wide foot and needed the 39 for my width. I am so bummed. They are attractive, stylish, and comfortable. If you have a medium foot with no issues requiring a wide toe box, then go for these. They are pricey, but will last I believe, based on my previously purchased Naots.

These were a Mother's Day Gift for when we start walking this summer. I returned the first pair because the left foot had a puckered seam. The new pair also has a slightly less puckered seam on both shoes. I decided to keep them because I believe they will all look the same way and since I'll be walking in them on mulched trails they will get creased where the foot bends anyway. They are sooo comfortable, and I need new walking shoes, so they're keepers!

Was too big!

I liked the style and they were certainly well made. I needed shoes for orthotics. These were narrow through the mid-foot without room for them.

I ordered the Naot Kumara (feathery blue) in size 38 (7). These shoes are medium width. As with all Naot shoes these are beautifully made with excellent quality materials. They provide very good arch support and cushioning. Unfortunately I had to return them -- the backs of the shoes slipped on the heels of my feet. I have very "thin" feet and need a narrow shoe in the heels. Since these shoes are leather they are not quite as flexible as many others. The length was perfect, width in toe box very good. Beautiful style of shoe but they didn't work for me.

I have a very narrow foot and heel but can wear Naot shoes that run on the slimmer side. After reading reviews that said to order 1/2 smaller, I did so but found the 7 1/2 were too short. I returned them and ordered my normal size 8 and the length is perfect. In order to take up more room in the size 8, I had to insert my orthodics on top of the footbed and they then fit me perfectly. So, it's a real hit or miss as to whether this style will fit as you would expect.

Naot Kumara is a “go to” comfortable shoe. Not stylish. Only comes in two colors but has a big toe box and good arch support. If my feet hurt and I am standing all day, I will forego the appearance and put on the Kumara.

I really like this shoe. Even though I wear a size 8 and purchased a 39 I found that it was too long.

This is one of the most comfortable shoe styles I've ever worm. I just wish there was a bit more classic styling in this shoe to help it not look so geeky. I believe the designers did try by adding a silver lame fabric band around the bottom of the shoe, which kind of missed the mark. A thinner, leather silver accent would have been a lot more appealing. Regardless, this is a fabulous shoe.

I just don't get how Naot thinks these are worth $185! I really love the Matai - gorgeous leather & style but it's too narrow for me. Has a wonderfully supportive insole, though. This Kumara doesn't feel good inside like the Matai and it's very thin/hard at the forefoot & ball of the foot. Can't see how these would be comfy to walk in at all, for me anyway.

This shoe is extremely comfortable! Not as cute as I’d like but I can overlook that for the comfort!!!

I've worn and have loved Naot for years, but the back heel is too high for me and hits my ankle with every step. Too bad because I like the style and other than that, these are very comfortable.

I love the style and think they will be comfortable, however I have to return these because they are too small. I followed the directions and ordered down a size. Hopefully the next size up will be a better fit.

Comments in reviews when I ordered this shoe said it runs big, so recommended buying a smaller size. I wear a 7.5, so ordered a 38. Shoe is a bit snug, but I'm keeping it. I like the look.

I put this shoe on and was floored by the comfort and support. I first got the Vintage Smoke leather shoe, but decided the finish was not for me. I saw the lighter color on sale on Zappos and went for it - same comfort, same soft leather, same odd toe. I’m not a fan of the color, however, it limits its usefulness for my wardrobe. I may see if I can get it dyed black because it is just so comfortable.

Nice looking, good fitting sneaker style shoe...on my right foot! The back half of the left shoe did not fit snug and slipped off my heel when simply walking. Whatever reason the fit was not consistent for both feet, for the price, I wanted a GREAT fit on both! Had to return this pair.

So I usually wear an 8, and I ordered these in a 38. The length fit good but it is too tight in the ball of my foot. I really wanted to like these but this style is not good for my foot.

I wear an 8, and bought a 39..way too long but felt good in the width and arch support. These are going back for an exchange for a 38.

These are very soft shoes that look elegant. They sent me two different sizes -38 on i=one foot 39 on the other so I had to send them back.

I was so disappointed that these were just a bit short in length because they were perfect in every other way and just what I was looking for. I wear size 11 shoes, and can wear Noat in sandals in 11 but any closed toe shoe I need a 43 which they only make in very selective shoes and unfortunately not these. I tried them because I was told to "size down" in this shoe and I was hoping that would make the difference! For those who can wear smaller sizes, these are great: good arch support, soft, more attractive than the pictures and make your feet look small!

The leather is yummy and the feel is pretty good. However, I had problems with the sizing. The 39 is too short/tight and the 40 is way too big. I can see how, if the shoe fits well, that people would be very loyal to this brand. The quality and unusual design could be very comfortable.

Kumara is my first attempt to find a tie shoe that looks more polished than my cushioned athletic shoes, plus comes close in comfort. The look is great, but the cushioning disappointed. Using my custom orthotics and With hose, I'd call these true to size (8 M --> 39). But the toe box doesn't allow for any but very thin socks. The left shoe of this pair gaps in an odd way on the outside, toward the back. I'm an active 73-year-old whose feet lack the cushioning of my younger years.

I wear many different styles of Naot sandals but was looking for a shoe to wear on a trip that included a lot of walking. I order the Kumara in the Vintage smoke. I took them on a 17 day cruise and wore them on the land tours. Despite the fact that they say never to wear a new pair of shoes on a trip, they were perfect. They are fashionable to wear at night and were great walking all day. I would highly recommend them.

Very cute shoe, nicely made, but absolutely no toe room. If you need a bigger toe box, this is not the shoe for you. Otherwise, unique look and pretty comfortable.
