This shoe is beautiful; it is a dark metallic blue, not a light denim color like the implies. It's very soft leather so it requires no break in time, but also doesn't have the support of other Naots. I can tell it will be the shoe I put on at the end of the day when I travel, but probably not for all day wear.

First the size. They do run a bit big, which was perfect for me, because I actually wear a 7.25, and you can't buy that size! Usually 7's are too small, and 7.5 too big, but these in size 38 (7) were perfect. This shoe was made for my foot. I did have to add a heel cushion because I have a skinny heel, and there was ever so slight movement of my heel when I walked. These shoes came out of the box and I wore them onto the ship to a cruise to the Bahamas. Not a single time did I have foot pain, or blisters, or any breaking in discomfort. They are the softest leather I have ever encountered. I live in these shoes! The arch support is just right, and the shoe is lightweight and oh, so comfortable. These are my favorite shoes, ever. I have a collapsed back, not a single disk remains and these shoes allow me to walk without extra pain. They are also very cute and look nice with shorts and capris and jeans. An added plus is you can replace the insole and you don't have to replace the whole shoe!

Naot Kumara - Most comfortable shoe ever. I have 2 pair, well worth the price. Very supportive footbed and kind of becomes "one" with your foot, yet the soft leather upper allows for all the bumps and bunions. I don't need my orthotics in them because they are so supportive Dressier than tennis shoes. I have had LOTS of positive comments, and I would buy another similar Naot style

Thanks to Zappos' "Notify Me" offer, I was able to snag a pair of these beauties in my size in the steel grey/black combination, which actually looks more like a low-sheen dark denim, very snazzy with blue jeans. This is my fourth pair of Kumara: does that tell you anything about comfort? They're glove-leather soft, require not a moment's breaking in, and cushion your every step. I do appreciate the laces, since the leather's softness means it tends to stretch out some. But day in, day out these are my go-to choice for casual good looks with walk-all-day comfort.

Great working shoes. Very comfortable. I have been through three pairs of these already. I have long, bony and narrow feet, so it is very hard to find shoes that fit right. But these shoes work great for me since I am on my feet at least 8 hours a day. Expensive shoes, but I take it as an investment for my feet. My feet deserve to be comfortable.

Kumera - This shoe is magnificent. Great arch support and light weight. You barely know you have shoes on.

Looks good, but no comfort - I really loved the look of this shoe, but the back was too high. It rubbed & irritated my foot. NO arch support-couldn't believe 88% said it had excellent support! I tried to fit an arch support in, but it made it too tight. I wear a 7 1/2, and usually a 38 will fit (if it is wide), sometimes I need a 39. This one was a 39, despite what the manufacturer said about it running large. (I wish European's came in half sizes.) Anyway, the shoe just didn't work for me, so it's a return.

The most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I bought these shoes for a trip to San Francisco, where I planned to do a lot of walking. I put many miles on these shoes, but they never rubbed or pinched any part of my feet. The excellent arch support made my feet feel great, even after along day of hill walking. And they are nice looking - much prettier than clunky sneakers. All in all, I am a Naot convert. They were worth every penny. Do go down a half size - I wear an 8 1/2, and the size 39 was perfect with light socks.

These shoes are great for shopping or museums when you want something more fashionable than the usual running or walking shoe and they have the same support and comfort.

Just amazing. Very soft and cushy, but doesn't look shapeless. I don't know how it's going to withstand the time, since it's so soft and prone to scratches, but i decided to like it anyway, because right now this is my most comfortable pair of shoes.

Chose this shoe for work in health care field standing 8-12 hours daily. Birkenstock Boston had been my work shoe of choice. Kumara's style, footbed texture and soft, snug leather upper are very different. Workmanship and arch support are similar. Cannot speak to durability after only 6 weeks. Made minor mistake when didn't seal leather before wearing and cleaned small soiled area with alcohol swab. Recovered area with leather conditioner, cream polish and leather sealer. So suggest sealing first thing out of the box and regular care after. The leather is soft and fits like a glove. No pinch, no rub. The arch support is excellent and mine is high. Another review suggested buying 1 size smaller than usual but tried on style in local store and opted for 1 euro size larger than normally wear and am pleased with fit. PS. My Holy Grail search is over! Amazing comfort and support without looking like a sneaker! I'll actually be able to do lots of walking without looking like a tourist! It even fits my wider foot without looking wide.

Size was good, loved the leather style but the arch support made the shoes too tight. I love the comfort of the shoes so removed the insole & put one that worked for me.

These are my "go to" shoes. I have had them in a few different colors. Although this shoe only comes in M (not wide) it accommodates my M+ foot.

I have always worn a 38 in the Naot Kumara and this shoe holds true to it's sizing. I got the Dark Flora/Shiny Black Leather and I have to say that they look much better in person than in the photo. The leather is nice and soft, like the old Kumaras used to be many years ago. It has been some years since the leather matched the softness of old ones.

I ordered size 10 because I have recently gotten orthotics and needed a bit of extra room to accommodate them. I also chose a lace up shoe as opposed to a slip on in order to obtain a snug fit. These shoes are very soft to the touch and the design is eye catching. I wanted a dressier casual shoe and wanted to avoid the sneaker look. Overall, the shoe is very comfortable with my orthotics and they are a welcome change from the sneaker look.

When they arrived, I wasn't sold on the style, but then I put them on, and didn't want to ever take them off. They feel like I'm walking in a cloud of marshmallows, yet have great support. And now, I think they are way cool in looks, also.

These are my go to shoes, and I could not be happier with them! I love the Euro look of these sneakers. They are a super fit from the first time I took them out of the box. These are wonderful shoes that meets my comfort requirement.

Comfortable with good arch support. True to size. I ordered a size up from my normal 8. Too long even with heavy sock.

This is my 3rd pair of Naot Kumara shoes! I bought a white pair a few years ago and they became my 'go-to' shoes for comfort and style. I then bought a black pair for winter wear. Just recently I purchased my second pair of white ones. I love these shoes! These shoes run large, so I order a size smaller than normal.

I love these shoes! From the first moment I put them on I was off and running...without any break in time! I have a narrow foot and these fit me just perfectly. I ordered my usual size and have had not problems whatsoever! I think they are more attractive in person than online too! A bonus! Naot shoes fit my foot and I will be buying buy more!

Wonderful shoe. EXTREMELY comfortable. The lines give the foot a graceful, attractive shape. I ordered Kumara trying to find the right shoe for a specific outfit for an upcoming dressy casual occasion. It wasn't the right shoe for that outfit, so I returned it, to leave a budget available for the shoe I need. Would have loved to keep it, because it is attractive and heavenly comfortable. I've only owned one pair of Naots; in that style, I needed one size up from my typical size in other brands. Ordered Kumara in my typical size and one size up (thinking the brand might generally run small); in this style, my typical size fit best.
