Naot Kumara - Zappos is simply the BEST! I tried on the Naot and was surprised at the arch support...impressive. I've wore these a few times now and because the leather is so soft, the body of the shoe is looking a little "stretched," unlike a traditional tennis shoe. I'll let you know over time if it stretches out of shape. It's a lightweight shoe and I'm sure they'll be one of my favorites next spring.

Great styling--heel cup too deep - Heeding the Zappos warning, I bought this shoe in my usual size, 37, and in the 36. I found that it ran absolutely true to size, not large at all. I love the styling, which is even better than depicted: in the photo you can't see the very thin metallic trim (copper-colored on the Almond/Rust combo) that runs all around the foot. Very cool. And the leather is lusciously soft. Here's my problem: I have a very high instep, and the deep heel indentation--touted as a benefit--is a big problem for me. Since childhood I've had to wear several heel lifts in each shoe to get enough elevation to prevent painful rubbing and subsequent blisters. As soon as I tried on the Kumara I realized that it could cause trouble. I'm now walking around the house with *two* lifts in each heel to see whether I can solve the problem. If not, both pairs will have to go back. Alas. Zappos' service gets *six* stars. I placed my order on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend and received the shoes on Tuesday. Amazing!

Perfect when sneakers are not appropriate - I bought these shoes in anticipation of a European tour as I don't want to look like an "ugly American" while in Paris or Athens and I know that sneakers are really what needs to be worn. Since they're arrival I’ve been wearing them on the weekends...No break-in period necessary! No socks required either! The shoe is deep enough I think for an orthotic, but I don't use one. And the look is more stylish than a sneaker. Wish there was a bit more arch support as I am flat-footed. I followed the reviews before me with regard to sizing and it was right on. Haven't gone to Europe yet...

I love the style and fit. Unfortunately, the workmanship doesn't measure up. This is the second pair of Naot Kumara I've returned for the same reason--poor construction for the price.

I bought this shoe for a walking shoe on a trip I plan to take. The shoe fits my foot but is is cut very low below my ankle. When I walk this area pulls away from my foot leaving a gap on both sides of my foot. The heel stays in place but it doesn't give me any support around my ankle. I have not returned them but I would not buy another pair. They are not worth the price.

I've had two pairs of Naot shoes that have been very good - comfortable and good looking. These are disappointing in that they make my feet look wide and flat. I tried two sizes, and both were not what I consider attractive.

I have several pair of Naot shoes in the same size for over 10 years in this general style and love them. This is sad to think they are loosing their quality control turning out shoes that are no longer reliably sized.

These shoes fit like a glove! They're great looking and comfortable, and the leather is lovely. I wear 9.5 medium width.

just ordered my 2nd pair. these shoes have hiked all over Italy. great support, comfortable & cute. a complete stranger came up to me in Ravello and asked me about these shoes.

These shoes felt great with buttery soft leather, leather lining and great support. Sadly they are being returned because the left shoe is wider than the right, and the tongue of the left shoe is sewn on crocked.

This shoe is really well made and looks great but it was just a little small and not wide enough for my foot. I normally get a 9 1/2 or 10 so that I can fit my own insert. This didn't quite allow for my insert.

I love this shoe for a casual dress up or shorts. Its comfy, stylish and all around a well made shoe

Fit and size are both good. I can wear these all day. No break in time, which is how I feel a shoe should be.

These shoes so adorable, I really wanted to keep them, but the toe box just wasn't deep enough for my very bad feet.

Rarely do I buy a pair of shoes that fit my feet so well! These hold my skinny heels snuggly while my toes can spread in the rounded front. I bought a 2nd pair for when the 1st pair is worn out.

I had been searching for a sneaker style that didn’t look so much like an athletic shoe but still provided acceptable arch support, my search ended when I tried Kumasi. Some reviews mention that the style runs big however I did not find that to be the case; I ordered my usual size 41and also a pair of size 40 - the smaller pair was so tight that I didn’t bother putting the second shoe on my feet! Cute style with jeans for the colder seasons.

FIt like a glove taylored to my feet! I ordered the 7M. Due to arthritis, my width can vary. I wore these when my feet were not swollen and since they fit so wonderfully I’m not sure that I could wear them while I have any swelling. That said I also have plantar fasciitis and I have worn these for many hours right out of the box with absolutely no problems! Very comfortable and really beautiful shoes!

This is my 3rd pair and the only sneakers I wear. I have plantar fasciitis and need good arch and heel support and these shoes give it. The insoles are removable and I put them in my other shoes and boots. Plus, these are not the ugly, clunky athletic shoes you see everywhere. I've gotten many compliments on how stylish the white/silver ones are.

These shoes were sized correctly. I ordered a size 38 (one lower than I usually do) because of the recommendation by Naot. However I needed to send those shoes back to Zappos--no problem by the way for an exchange--for a size 39 which is my regular size.

I have never found a shoe that was as comfortable as this shoe, it is amazing The arch support is the best I have ever had in a shoe,I have tried so many different kinds of tennis shoe looking for the right support. I work as a dental assistant so on my feet alot and busy office, My feet or legs do not hurt anymore. And also needed a great pair of shoes to wear in Italy coming up for my sons wedding, Well I found my to go shoe. Loved the brand so much I found some really cute sandals as well So do yourself a favor and try Naot you will not regret it..I am so trilled to have come across these. OMG, I think I found my shoe for my upcoming trip to France! I have very difficult to fit feet. One foot is a half size larger than the other making it very difficult to find shoes that will fit. While there is a little bit of slippage in the right shoe on this one I think with a sock and maybe a foot petal this will do the trick. They are also cute and should do ok on wet slippery cobblestones. Thank you Zappos for helping me find shoes! I've tried at least a dozen, trying to find something that will work and not look totally like tennis shoes.

Great shoe! There is no break in time with Naot footwear, which makes it ideal for wearing anytime anywhere. I purchased these for traveling in France and walking on those cobble stone streets. These have a little style and silver like trim. I used them with my black, white & tan pants. They don't look like sneakers, which is wonderful.

These are the single most comfortable shoes I have ever owned, seriously! I usually remove the insoles so I can use my orthotics but these ended up being so comfy and perfectly fitting that I often wear them with the original Naot insole and am perfectly happy. They are cute,too! I wear them w/ leggings and tunic or jeans; athletic fit with a much classier look. I love them : wish they were in different colors.
