I ordered a size too small after reading reviews*** I ordered a size too small after reading reviews. That was a mistake I wear a 9 1/2 according to the reviews I read a 9 would fit perfect, not true. Had to send back for a ten. Which was easier than I thought and the 10s fit fine, a lil big but that’s better than a little small, especially since I wear these to work everyday strictly work shoes for me and cute too.

Nice but not special - This shoe was not exactly what I had hoped for: I wanted a casual, unusual shoe that would look good with longer skirts and pants. It's a cute shoe, but looks best with jeans and shorts. And the problem is that it's not unusual enough to be like a Keen or Earth shoe look; so it seems to be more for an older, conservative person. It looks much more unique in the photo. It needs a higher heel, in my opinion, too. Not different enough for the price!

Cute and comfy - Found this shoe after four tries and ordered a half size smaller than I usually wear. It was like putting on a slipper and I wore it all day with no problem. My only complaint would be the arch hitting the bottom of my foot feels a little high, but I would order other colors.

Naot appears to have changed their sizing. These were narrow and too tight. I've had the exact same shoe in another color so I was super dissapointed in these.

Shoe had an odd coloring of silver, which in photograph on zappos appeared silver in sections, not just a sprinkling. My heel slid up and down when I walked in it. Pretty to look at, but had to return.

The shoe is beautiful. I bought two pairs: the black leather with black velvet and the "metal" which is a matte textured bronze and soft black leather. Both were the same size. On one pair, the left foot was too big and the right was tight. On the second pair, the opposite was true. I was sorry to send them both back. I would have kept both pairs. The arch was in the perfect position. Both were size 37, but marked Size 6.0. I usually wear 6.5. I have about six pairs of Naot shoes and the usually are my favorites.

I've worn other Naot shoes and the sizing is odd. In this shoe and one other that I have my normal size (40) was really too small and the arch is in the wrong place. I hope the 41 comes back in stock because I like the look of the shoe and I hope it fits.

I usually love Naot shoes, but not this one. It was not very comfortable. I was also disappointed with how the shoe was made. Not the quality I expect from Naot. It looked a little cheaply made. The right shoe did not have a smooth inner side. It dipped in at the ball of the foot. It really looked odd. I didn't feel like paying $200 for a shoe that was not the proper fit nor well made.

Unfortunately, I got a bad pair. The straps were sewn in 2 different places so when I looked at my feet it was uneven. Also, there was a piece of plastic caught in the stitching that hurt. Considering ordering another pair since I thought they were cute and lots of cushion. I would have to add to the arch because of my high arches.

I like Naot but wear a 10.5/42 so have trouble finding big enough shoes (other than their sandals). I liked these instantly, but noticed a funny gapping mid-shoe on the outer side. Have figured out that the toe half of the shoe is nicely padded, or actually lined, but the back half of the shoe is not lined. So after a couple of minutes of wear, a crease started to form halfway back on the outer side of the right shoe. There just isn't enough structure where there is no lining. I had to send them back, after trying 2 pairs to see if it was just a defective pair (thanks, Zappos). Very disappointed, as they seemed pretty comfortable, although the strap did seem to slightly hurt where it crosses the tendon coming from the big toe, but I could have padded that with some moleskin. And they didn't make my feet look too huge. Naot is too expensive for things not to be perfect. Sizewise, the shoe does run big so that was good for me, too. My toes almost hang off the end of their size 11 sandals, which is what size I order from Naot.

This shoe was described as running large and to order a size down. I wear a US women's 9, so I ordered an 8. I could not even get my foot in it with the insole in place. Without the insole it was a very tight fit. I can't comment about the shoe, other than to say...order your normal size in the first place!

I bought a pair of this shoe in brown leather last year - full price- and it was too big. The leather was lovely, though. I bought another pair this year in volcanic red year - $81- and the leather felt like plastic and they were too small. Guess that's why there was such drastic reduction in price - bummer.

Not comfortable for walking, as though the strap did not provide a secure fit, just a slightly uncomfortable one. My Kirei shoes have a better feel for walking. Neither is as supportive as a regular walking athletic shoe.

I am disappointed in these shoes. I have a pair of Naot Mary Janes I bought several years ago that are nuch more cushioned and comfortable. I thought these would be similar. The strap in this pair is angled in such a way that it cuts across the top of my foot, and also is too long.I have decided to return them. It's hard to find brown shoes that look and feel good, so I am sorry that they didn't work out for me.

I’ve bought this shoe years ago in size 38 and they fit perfectly, so when I had to replace them I ordered 38 again, however, they were way too tight and I had to send them back. I reordered size 39. They are a tad too big, but if I wear socks it’s not too bad

I can see why everyone says this shoe is comfortable - it is. However, because of the style of this shoe my toes hit the front and the heels slipped. I ordered my regular size and there is no option to order a larger size. I wouldn't anyway because they definitely would have been too big. The sides of the shoe also came up a bit high and hit my ankle bone each time I took a step. They are made very well and if they work for you I think they are a good investment.

A beautiful looking shoe. Love the colors. Unfortunately for me there was a large gap on top. I have a NARROW FOOT. This shoe requires a person with a MORE "FLESHY" FOOT. I will go back to Kerei style even though it is not available in this 2-tone color.

I forgot to mention in my previous review that if you happen to have a bone spur on the top of your foot, as I do, this asymmetrical strap will hit at just the wrong spot!

I wanted, so much, to love these shoes. Despite warnings, I ordered anyway, in two different sizes. I am a size 40, but the 40 were clumsy big and the 39 were two snug. I found the leather to be very nice and the shoe was so cute. I also thought that the right shoe, on both sizes, looked wider than the left. I have several Naots, and they are wonderful. What happened here?

If you pronate or roll your forefoot out, this shoe will eventually wrinkle and give the direction you roll. The diagonal strap encourages the outside slide of the forefoot. I won't buy this style again.

I have multiple pairs of Naot shoes - I live in their sandals all summer, and also have two pairs of the Kirei mary jane. I am a US 11, and always a 43 in Naot (except for Kayla, where I'm a 44) so I ordered these in the 43 without concern even though Naot advises they run large; the Kirei (also from the Koru collection) also says "fit runs large," but is perfect for me (my toes even brush the front, but not uncomfortably so). To my disappointment, this pair are genuinely big. Unlike the secure fit I have in the Kirei, I can feel my heel moving around and the shoe gaps where the strap fastens. I fear a 42 will be small, however (I can't even wear a 42 in their sandals as my toes hang off the edge). I'm baffled, as the footbed, sole, and shape are identical to the Kirei - the only differences are the angled strap and the swirled contrast - yet the fit is completely different. They of course are of course typical Naot beautiful leather and comfort footbed, they're just...big. Still deciding whether or not to keep them.

The brown leather is a bit metallic looking. It was hard to tell that online. They are fairly comfy. I was hoping for killer arch support, but didn't get it. Overall, an okay shoe, but it didn't knock my socks off (so to speak).

Great shoe – but… Read the reviews and sized down and it worked great. Problem is that after a month of wear, the shoe has really stretched out.

I love Naot, a big fan! I own several pairs of boots. I loved the look of these, and they are high quality as usual with one design flaw -- because the strap is at an angle instead of crossing straight over the ankle, the metal buckle where the strap folds hits right at the highest bony spot on the top of the foot. It was painful for me to take even a few steps. Maybe they will fit others differently, but for me they were a definite and immediate No. Too bad. My other Naots have excellent craftmanship and have held up beautifully.
