Extremely cute & comfortable - I wore this shoe for the first time last night out walking and I have plantar fasciitis and it was great. Very cushy and comfortable. The metallic has a gold tint to it that is not shown in this picture but it's attractive. Like a slipper. Moderate arch support, but you could add your own. I ordered half a size up and it was perfect.

Delightful! These shoes are the most comfortable shoes I have...and look so great! I get loads of compliments each time I wear them.

Comfortable and pretty - This shoe is very comfortable. It is now my favorite and I wish I had more. I took it traveling and found it very comfortable walking, with enough sole support and it is easy to slip on and off as needed. Other women were interested in the shoes and thought they were cute. I love that the shoes are wider across the front of the foot--so my toes don't get squeezed together. It feels so natural, like I'm not wearing shoes. The velcro strap is so easy to use (though not the most attractive part of the shoe). I will definitely try more Naots.

Glad I found it! What a great shoe! Love the feel of an athletic shoe with plenty of support, yet it is a feminine looking shoe. Plan to wear it on the brisk fall mornings while visiting in NYC. The colors are very rich. I normally wear a narrow, but with the adjustable straps was able to compensate. I have had three foot surgeries & a narrow foot to add to the difficulty of finding the so-called "right" shoe. I will be looking for more Naot shoes in the future. Goodbye clunky athletic shoes.

Love Naot - This shoe did not disappoint. The style is great; the shoe is like walking on a cloud. I did order a size down (as suggested) but felt my regular size would be more comfortable.

Simply Gorgeous! These shoes are beautiful! I purchased them in the Metal/Black Suede color...the top part of the shoe has flecks of gold and silver peaking through the metallic black color. These shoes are perfect for those of us who have high insteps. They have hard core arch support and are like walking on clouds! Unbelievable looks and comfort...if you like a shoe that is very stylish, funky, and unique...then this is the one for you!

Great shoe - I love this shoe. Very, very comfortable. I wear a 9 and followed the ordering directions to order down a size. The 8's fit perfect.

Incredibly soft, supportive shoe - I think this might actually be one of the best shoes ever made. Incredibly soft, supportive, and totally comfortable right out of the box. I have a foot injury and am unable to wear any of my "regular" shoes. I’ve been hunting for anything that helps and this is number one by far. Not the sexiest shoe ever, but actually kind of cute. Naot is a wonderful shoemaker.

These are great travel shoes! I got these shoes as a gift from my Mom for a trip to France. (She has the same pair) We walked, and walked and walked and our feet were never sore. They are very comfortable and look great with jeans, crops, or anything in between.

Matai by Naot - I have received lots of compliments for the Matai. It is attractive with skirts or pants. A spunky shoe that goes with everything.

Nice and extremely comfortable shoe! I would recommend this shoe for anyone who has foot problems and is looking for a great walking shoe. I usually need orthotics for walking long distances, but not needed with this shoe. It looks great (with dresses); I get plenty of compliments every time I wear them. I also own a green pair. I am hooked.

Love Those Naots! I love these shoes. I have two pair of Naot sandals (from Zappos) and wanted a closed toe shoe for work and the fall. Wore them straight out of the box for a conference - running all day from place to place and never felt a twinge, ache, or rub. Cute and comfortable. Thank you Zappos for your incredible courteous service! Nothing better than overnight.

Unique style and great comfort - I have had a pair of Naots before that did not meet expectations, but this shoe is like wearing the best pair of slippers I have ever owned. I just may have to buy a pair in black!

Excellent shoe - Unlike other European sizes, this shoe is true to size. I wear an 8 or 8.5 and the 39 fits perfectly. The arch is excellent, very supportive. I got this shoe in the black and the copper. After trying Merrells and Privos, this is the shoe for me!

Very comfortable - I wore these shoes out of the box across China for two weeks. They were consistently comfortable and worked well with pants and skirts.

ULTIMATE COMFORT AND STYLE!!!!! This is the most marvelous shoe I have ever worn! It was made to fit a human foot, not as many shoes that are made today - a narrow piece of wood! Thank you, Zappos, and I do hope you will be able to get many, many more shoes of this type!

Naot comfort - I'm always searching for the perfect comfort shoe, but have difficulty because I have large feet (11-12). I ordered these in the size 42 because of the advice that these shoes run big. Not only do they fit perfectly, but they are incredibly comfortable. The leather is very soft and the arch support is wonderful. I can't wait to purchase more Naot shoes.

Cute and comfortable - I catch heat from my more stylish friends about my "clunky" footwear. (I wear Keens and Earth Shoes a lot.) Nothing but compliments on these and they were comfortable for a whole day right out of the box.

YES!!! I walk about 4 miles a day between home/work/school. Therefore, I have been on a quest for shoes that look cute that I can wear to work, but also make the 3 mile hike to school afterwards. TA-DA!! These shoes are wonderful! I love the colors (orange/red) and man, are they comfortable. I just put them on this morning, and I am ready to go. Deliciously juicy shoes.

Naot Matai - I ordered this shoe late yesterday afternoon and received them in less than 24 hrs. You MUST have been working all night Zappos. These are beautiful shoes and verrrrrrrrrrry well made. Hope the strap holds up. It is thin. They do seem a little short and I'm glad I didn't size down. I'm afraid if I return them and order a bigger size they will be too big in the heel. I'll wear them around the house on the carpet and test them out. I'm so glad I have Zappos to buy my shoes.

Naot Footwear Matai - My husband and I have been wearing Naot sandals for about 15 years. This is my first pair (I actually bought the black and the green) of Naot shoes and I love them! The first time I wore them was to work for 8 hours, no problems. They are comfortable and cute. The size was true to what I wear in a Naot, 36. I am planning on taking one or both pairs on my trip to Russia. These were definitely what I was looking for. I may order the orange pair!

Very cute - I am overall very pleased with this shoe. This was my first time buying Naots. I was hesitant at first because of the price, but I had heard that they were very comfortable. My foot is on the medium/wide side, but the width is fine and I like that these have an adjustable strap. I normally wear a size 8, sometimes 8.5 and the size 39 Euro fit me perfectly. Overall, these are very comfortable, the only thing that my feet had to get used to was a raised bump in the footbed that falls right under the arch--this was a bit uncomfortable at first.

The perfect shoe? Just received these shoes. They felt wonderful right out of the box. They have great arch support, are very flexible, and don't rub or bind anywhere. They look great and will be good with either casual or a bit dressier attire. Love, love, love these shoes!

The perfect shoe! This is my 2nd pair of these shoes--I also have them in green. They have great arch support, are perfect for walking, can be worn without socks due to leather lining, work with pants, capris, etc. They have a removable insert so I think an orthotic could be used. I wish they came in more colors as they really are the perfect shoe and well worth the cost.
