After reading many of the previous reviews, I had high hopes for these shoes. I had foot surgery last year so comfort and a low heel are a must; no more shoes that only sort of fit. These are cute, seem comfy, but the 11s are long. If these came in a 10.5 they'd be perfect, but the extra length is too much. They're headed back.

Comfortable at first, these have given my heels blisters. The back is cut high so that it rubs on my ankle. Disappointing!

I am not sure if I am going to return these or not, but I am disappointed with the strap and buckle. They are a little difficult to fasten and the strap and buckle are flimsy.

Thought the shoe would be cute and probably if my feet weren't so long, it would be. Unfortunately, the straps at the toe end only covered my toes! It looked so silly! The shoe should have been designed to be proportionate to whatever size. Also, I could tell the leather at the back would be a problem because I didn't even stand up and it was uncomfortable on the inside of my foot below the ankle. Still love Zappos, but returning these shoes. Maybe someone else will enjoy them.

I had to send these back. I usually wear a 9N which is what I ordered, but they felt a tad short, which made the straps in the toe area press down on my big toe. Not comfortable for me. I didn't get a half size up because I felt pretty sure that they would be too long....short but not a half size, if you know what i mean. Oh well.

This shoe felt a tad short but not a half size short. I usually need a N in sandals or my foot slides out the toe. This shoe was very snug and the toe box small so my toe touched the end of the toe box. Looks good in the picture and would have been comfortable because the many straps did not rub. Sent them back but was just not inspired enough to order it in a medium or half size larger.

This is a nice shoe, but I have really big ankles and am overweight, and with those things combined, I could not latch the strap on either. Great shoe if you don't have enormous ankles.

I want to give five stars, but after six months, the front leather straps that cover the toes started fraying and falling apart. The rest of the shoe is great and very comfortable, but it is falling apart.

I bought one of these a couple of years ago and have been watching for my size in another color. It was finally available, but apparently Softspots now puts their logo in the heel area of the footbed of the shoe on some sort of manmade material that sticks to my foot and makes a weird sound when I walk. The heel logo patch is not on the shoes in the pictures - Zappos should update their photos for the current product.

I've owned many pairs of this style and loved them. These arrived with the front straps strangely askew. Also, the top of the leather was already starting to peel from the bottom, which usually only happens after a while. (They always get little strings which I have to cut.) I really wish Softspots would offer more huraches in this footbed with a solid ankle. They keep discontinuing the cuter ones!

These may work well for some people...they definitely felt true to size and width, but there was an uncomfortable rubbing on my left heel that was odd...plus, they made noise when I walked in them, so back they go! Too bad...I really wanted to like them!

Pft...Pft...Pft... The sound they made when I walked around my home. I liked the style but my son (almost 3) said they look "old" which didn't help either. I returned them right away.

These are overall solid shoes. As far as comfort goes, the insole was soft and provided a good cushion. The toe box was wide enough. The heel was probably too wide, though. I returned them because I found cuter shoes on Zappos after receiving and trying out this pair.

Attractive shoe, for sure. Ordered a 7 Wide at first, exchange for a 6.5 wide. (Often I am an either/or size). This shoe did not work for me. Strap is too short, to put in an additional hole beyond the last eyelet. So, within minutes of they wearing, they cut into my ankle, crosswise. And agree with others, the elastic will probably break or wear out first. Foot bed is a real comfort grabber, would order in all colors IF, the ankle strap worked. For the price, manufacturer skimmed, just missing the mark on the strap, unless you have small like ankles. Mine are not huge, about 9 inches diameter, even though I am small boned, they are sturdy ankles ~. Another thing, if you have a high instep, this accounts for my issue too, so be aware. Again too bad, great versatile AND great comfort bed. Darn!

Some of my favorite sandals are by Softspots, and I thought these would be a good choice because the ones I have don't come in black. These, however, are not as comfortable, and I find that being able to slip shoes/sandals off and on is a big priority for me, so the strap is a drawback. I chose another style that is more like an open shoe rather than a sandal, and returned these. If I had needed two pair, I might have kept these, too, though.

I was really hoping I'd love these shoes - they look cute but casual enough to run around the playground chasing my kid in. Unfortunately they had three things wrong: they were too long in the toe-box, too short on the strap, and too loose in the heel. If you wear a WW shoe, odds are good you need a longer strap if it goes over the top of the foot in any way, especially if you already have a high arch and are looking for shoes with support. These fail on that count. The width is great and the style is nice - but if I size down to make the toebox and heel more fitting, the strap will certainly be too short. Bummer.

The backing of the bands and strap separated from the leather and looked untidy, so I couldn't keep the shoes.

First off, this shoe is great if you have wide feet at the front but narrow to normal ankles. The strap allows you to make it tight enough. The front of the foot camouflages the bunion/wide area well, and will stretch to fit. You can also wear them with dress orthotics if you need more support. They do not have much arch support on their own. The downsides of this shoe is that they gave me blisters by my pinky toes after wearing these the first couple of times. And, this is what makes me hesitant to really recommend these shoes. My ankles swell whenever I wear them even if I put half-length orthotics in them. And that gets uncomfortable and unsightly. These are my sister's favorite summer shoe, but for me, who has some ankle weakness, they don't work nearly as well.

Maybe the problem is that I have Fred Flinstone's feet, but the WW (I'm usually a 10WW and ordered that size) was far too narrow for me, and my feet hung over the sides. I couldn't get my toes in all the way, and they got kind of tangled in the strips in the front. Too bad. These would have been cute for that summer wedding.

The foot curve, although wide enough, was not straight, causing a foot misalignment and I fell from the slide in the shoe. Now I have other pairs that I love. Not this one.

I ordered W but was disappointed to find that the toebox was still too narrow to be comfortable. These are super cute shoes on and I would have loved to have them fit properly.

These shoes were too tight even though they came in wide. Please offer a wider wide for days when my feet swell due to medication I take. I'd buy them in several width sizes same size larger width.

This is a mixed review. Love these shoes (great for a non-sandal work environment) but they came a size too small. I'm wearing them, but...I am a size 8 narrow. I have since ordered a second pair at 9 narrow, but this will be the first time I've ever ordered that size.

I really wanted these shoes to work out, but they were too stiff. The leather reminded me of Mexican huarache sandals which, once broken in, can be comfortable, but new are very stiff. The back of the shoe rubbed on the inside of my instep and was uncomfortable. Too bad because the sole seemed great and they look cute on. I also normally wear between a 6 and a 6.5. The 6.5 in these had my toes all the way up against the end. They are, unfortunately, going back to Zappos!

A good shoe, but with one big problem: my ankle is a bit wider than average and I was not able to fasten the belt strap. Still wanting to keep the shoe (the size was a good fit) I had to heat up the needle and make an extra whole in the strap towards the end of it. I would imagine other customers find this a problem and just return the shoes. I would recommend to work with suppliers to make shoes more accommodating.
