They are cute and comfy. The size is a little short, I normally wear a 9M and in this style it's a little short. I could have gone with the 9 1/2...but the insole is cushioned and very good for walking, and the rubber/plastic sole is shock absorbing.

Looks really cute, but leather was stiff and it ran a bit short so it was totally uncomfortable. Made worse by no arch support.

I love the way these look and feel, but unfortunately only a few months into owning them, the thin leather strips that make up the toe box are separating from their backing, which is a synthetic. I was hoping for at least a year out of these. I am disappointed, and trying to convince myself not to buy a replacement pair, since they are otherwise so great.

Very cute and I loved that had a heel but weren't too high. The strap around the ankle was uncomfortable,so back they go.

Love the style & color (green) of this shoe. However, it is not a true 2A narrow. I thought about sending it back and getting a half size smaller, but decided I would not risk having the shoe too short.

This shoe looks great and is easy to wear for the slight heel. The shoe does not rub awkwardly anywhere, however, the balls of my feet for only one foot hurts after extended wearing of these shoes. I am keeping them but I won't wear them for a long day. I wear a size 12.

The footbed is heavenly and the back support makes your foot fit very securely within this open sandal. The only drawback for me (and my reason to return them) was the small detail on the front that sticks out at the top. This little piece kept digging into the top of my foot every time I tried to walk in them.

I bought two pairs last year and love them. This year I tried the Navy but the same size was too small, and the color isn't really navy - it's a lighter, dusty blue. I also tried the Fiesta color but the areas that appear bluish in the picture were really green in person, so unfortunately both pairs went back. Too bad, I really love the ones I got last year.

The wear is comfortable, especially on the bottom of the feet. My complaints about the shoe are that the part that is in the middle of the foot rubbed against my foot the wrong way on one shoe. The strap broke after one month so I have to spend more money on this shoe to get that fixed. All in all, if you don't have the problems that I had with the middle area and strap then I would say it is a good shoe.

Cute shoe, but I am returning. The buckle on the strap cuts into ankle bone. Impossible to wear.

Very comfortable shose. soft insole and low heel doesn't make may feet tired. One thing I don't like about is make a queek noise with walking.

It's hard to get these shoes on and off because of the outside buckle.

This is a less positive view (since all the reviewers are raving about how cute these are, I thought a buyer might want also to hear from someone who sent them back). The shoe seemed both wider and longer than the size marked. I would have kept going down in size until I found one that fit, but the shoe also just didn\'t look that great. The toe has a lot of solidness, visually, with no further solidness except the toe part showing under pants, and the effect is ... you\'ve seen those cow costumes at Halloween with an upside-down-triangle shaped hoof over the person\'s foot? That\'s about what the toe of this shoe looks like, if peeking out from under pants. And it isn\'t much cuter when the whole foot shows (such as with Capris or a skirt). The style looks dull, almost like a grown woman wearing a child\'s shoe. If you\'re into retro and vintage, maybe these would work with a cotton dress. I was looking for something to wear in the spring under long pants; these weren\'t the ones.

Cute style, but the teeny, tiny buckle is VERY hard to use so it gets one star for comfort in putting the shoe on. It is going back.

These shoes are really comfortable. However, I’m disappointed with the color since it is more pink than wine. It is lighter and pinker than the picture. I may have to return them.

Sending back - My dislike of this shoe is purely personal preference. I was looking for something summery to wear to work, but my right foot pronates, and I just didn't like the look of it in this shoe. Otherwise, it seemed cute and comfortable. The ankle strap gives it a little something extra. I'm sad to be returning this one.

Strap spaces are wide for small feet customers - If you have small feet, your little toes might come out because the straps are widely spaced.

Great shoes, but not built to last! I bought these shoes for the summer season last year, and I loved them - they were comfortable enough to walk around town in and cute enough to wear to work (even sort of closed-toed!). I thought I'd finally found a great, cute, comfortable shoe! However, by the end of the summer, the elastic on the ankle strap started to wear out and then snapped altogether. I can't tell you how bummed (and annoyed) I was! I thought about buying a replacement pair because otherwise they're so great, but I can't justify spending the money on shoes that probably won't last till the end of the year.

Cute shoe - I really liked the style of this shoe. The shoe had no arch support at all which made the shoe uncomfortable after a short while of wearing the shoes.

I purchased this shoe in an 8.5AA, I usually wear a 9, so I feel it runs about a half size long. It's an ok shoe, I don't feel it is a true narrow as I found it a bit wide and had to add a pad under the front of my foot to take up some room. It's fine for walking short distances but not for long ones. Looks good with casual dress clothes, I bought it to wear with a couple of linen summer dresses.

Just a bit too narrow. I've ordered a pair of Softspots before and they were a bit larger than marked. However, these 9.5 XW sandals were a bit too narrow & snug for my 9.5 XW feet and I was disappointed. I liked the cute, casual look & the red color is more of a deep, rich burgundy. I also liked the cushy insole and wedge-like heel.

Fairly cute -- but strange fit - I ordered these in both red and black in 8W. The red were a bit big and the black too small. I considered keeping the red but I was concerned they might stretch out. Also, I tend to overpronated (roll toward the outside of my foot) and I could actually see my feet rolling out when I was standing. It's too bad because the heel height and support are great.

Cute shoes but rubbed the side of my foot - At first I thought these would work for me but after I buckled them, I found that the side of my foot rubbed on the inside of the toe and heel areas. They felt so comfortable when I first put them on but I think my foot is too wide for these. I had to return them.
