I bought this bag for an upcoming trip and have been using it almost everyday. I can stuff a large wallet, phone, small make up bag, snacks, water bottle, cardigan, etc in the bag w/o feeling like I'm carrying some crazy huge messenger pack. The plum is pretty dark but the pink inside makes it easy to find things, which I love. I'm a small person, 5'4 but petite, and the bag doesn't look too bulky on me. It's definitely more of a bag than a purse though, if that makes sense. My only complaint is that the canvas strap tends to "catch" on clothing, so the bag doesn't doesn't sling around easily when I need to grab my wallet or phone quickly. If there were some slicker fabric on the underside of the strap, like a nylon, that would help. If the strap were slicker though, I'd probably be complaining that it slides around too much, so take that complaint with a grain of salt. Great everyday bag. Sporty look might not be appropriate for everything, but it's very versatile and can fit a lot of stuff!

I love my KAVU Sydney Satchel. Though it isn't huge, it holds my wallet, checkbook, sunglasses, collapsible shopping bag, cell phone, keys, paperback of the moment and quite a few other odds and ends. It is well-made and has been durable in the month that I have had it. Sits comfortably on my shoulder and the strap adjusts so that I can sling it cross body if I want to. This is a great purse. It's not the height of fashion, but that isn't my concern. The satchel is attractive, sturdy and holds a lot of stuff.

Very roomy & comfortable. I was looking for a bag to bring to a family theme park trip. It fits my Canon Powershot S3 IS, yet manages to have plenty of room for a water bottle, decent sized wallet & more! The bag is very lightweight.

Great bag. It has a long adjustable strap, I'm 6' tall and it hits me just where I want it across my body.

I love this bag. If you are looking for an everyday bag, you have found it. There is plenty of room on the inside and lots of little pockets that KAVU is known for.

I love this purse. It's the perfect size to hold everything that you need without being bulky. It's the perfect size for a small umbrella, light sweater, sunblock, and anything else that you need. I like the fact that the inside is water resistant. It helped greatly during a downpour at a summer festival. I would highly recommend this bag.

When I received this bag I was taken aback by how ugly (I ordered the wallflower pattern) awkward and large it looks. I thought the color was green and white and it was more green and beige/tan when it arrived. It sat in my bedroom for about 2 weeks before I finally tried it out. Needless to say, I love this bag! It is incredibly comfortable, holds tons of stuff, and never feels heavy even with two water bottles, a camera, and my wallet in it. I am very unorganized and with all of the pockets, it keeps everything where I can find it. I will be taking it on my honeymoon to Disney World in a few weeks and I can't wait to use it there. It looks smaller once you fill it with things and it never seems heavy. It has so much storage space. The interior liner (orange in color) is a plasticy material, so it is east to clean. This is a great bag and I would definitely recommend it and would buy this brand in the future.

This bag is AWESOME! I bought it for a trip to Disney World and it worked out great! Its very comfortable, fits lots of stuff without being heavy and the outside pocket is perfect for items that need to be reached quickly. It fits lots of stuff without being oversized. I could fit 2 bottles of water, wallet, 2 autograph books, 4 pairs of sunglasses and snack bars in the bag, with room in the outside pockets for maps, tickets, and wipes. Although I probably won't use this for an everyday bag (I don't carry that much stuff on a daily basis) I highly recommend for trips and outings. I bought the tan color so it would work with any outfit and my husband could carry it with out looking like he was carrying his wife's purse.

I like the look of the bag and was so happy to begin using it. BUT, every time I unzipped the outside pocket to put my keys on the key fob, the zipper would be stuck in the lining. Then I'd spend ten minutes getting it undone. This happened every time I used it. Too bad because otherwise it was a nice bag.

This is the perfect purse for me. I'm amazed at how much it will hold. I like that it isn't big and bulky. I bought the plum colored one. I like it for me. A little color but still neutral enough to go with everything I wear. I also like the pink lining. Nice and smooth zippers, too.

Bought this for an upcoming vacation, but I keep grabbing it daily! So simple and casual for summer. I am not a fashionista whatsoever, and like to stay understated at all times, so this is a good choice for my low-key, convenience-centric, sporty, grab-n-go style. Thanks, Zappos!

After having to ditch a fantastic purse that I traveled with all over the world, I purchased this bag to replace it and it's my new favorite! The shape of the purse curves with my body and allows me to stuff things into the pockets nicely and everything is organized. The bright color on the inside makes me smile every time I open the purse up. This is a great, sturdy purse at a wonderful price!

I purchased the Pyrite and I just got it today. I was afraid of the red on the inside but I put all my things in it and I love it. The adjustable strap is awesome. When I am in the mood for a crossbody I have a crossbody. When I'm in the mood for a shoulder bag. I have a shoulder bag. It's not as bulky as it looks in the pictures. I will be buying more from Kavu.

Bag is very durable and the Blue Floral print is awesome. Get compliments on it all the time. Great amount of space but not too much.

My wife loves it. She got it as a Mother's Day gift and she loves the room the size and everything. Goes with a lot of her outfits too.

I love this bag. I was looking for something a little easier and smaller than most of my purses. I commute in Chicago constantly, so its nice to have a shoulder bag. The pockets are great; the little ones in the bag fit an iPhone perfectly. The adjustable straps are great too. I will for sure be using this bag all year round!

I purchased this bag because I am a new mom and needed something to throw over my shoulder quickly and go. It works out perfectly. I love this bag. It is very well made. Plenty of pockets for everything I need.

I love this bag. It's durable, versatile and so much fun. I've gotten lots of compliments on it. It is roomy enough to carry my planner, wallet, sunglasses, make up bag, keys and phone, but it's not so big as to be awkward to lug around. I'd highly recommend this bag and am excited to try out the other great KAVU bags that Zappos carries

Living in the city I walk and take the subway or train more often then driving and I was tired of my purse constantly slipping off my shoulder when I walked or was carrying other bags. I wanted something that was still big enough to hold everything I needed but fit comfortably and did not look like a backpack or messenger bag. This bag is exactly what I needed. With all of its compartments and convenient key clip I am never digging to find something and still have room to spare for extra stuff that I might need occasionally. This is a perfect everyday walking around bag and would also be great for travel.

I ordered this bag from Zappos after the first one I bought from them over 6 years ago just like it (different fabric) finally needed replacing. I work in Russia and after washing and using the bag traveling in harsh conditions, the bag outlasted many others I had used! The bag is soft, roomy and what I liked about it is the comfort and security of having my hands free! I own at least 6 different Kavu bags and would highly recommend this one! When I received the bag, the zipper had a small hole in it and when I called Zappos, even though it wasn't their fault, they sent me a replacement free overnight and told me to keep the first one! Now I have 2 bags and plan to use them for many years to come! Zappos can't be beat!

Great bag. Thought it would be smaller than I expected but surprisingly had a lot of space. Plus I love the unique design.

Great purse for the price. You can wear it shopping, hiking, sightseeing or to the beach. The strap is wide and comfortable and can be adjusted to a satchel or crossbody style. I won't use it all the time but it's still a keeper. I bought the tan color first but returned it for the patterned fabric which is much more fun.

Great bag! Lightweight, plenty of room, not too many pockets, but enough to keep organized.
