Great bag for going on a day trip or a theme park. It’s a bit too utilitarian for me to wear every day, but great for when I want to carry a few extra things comfortably.

Planning to use this as my day bag while traveling in Europe later this month. Just big enough (without being too big) for essentials, a bottle of water and a light sweater. Love the crossbody carrying option!

Overall, this is a great bag. Not too big or small and very well made. In general, I do recommend this bag. Love the bright interior as you open it and it is reasonably prices and well made. My only negative thoughts are as follows: 1. The canvas material picks up lint like crazy. I ordered the black bag and a patterned one. The pattern bag did not show the lint as much, but the black was horrible. Impossible to keep clean. 2. The canvas is very stiff, making the strap very stiff also. Maybe if I wash the bag it will soften up, but keep this in mind with this material. 3. The main compartment of the bag has ends which abruptly go up. This makes the zipping and unzipping of the large compartment difficult at times. And because the ends are so high, when the compartment is opened, the heavy strap pulls the opening sideways and you have to use both hands to negotiate getting items out.

Very easy to wear - love cross body and this strap offers plenty of length for either option. Lots of space but not bulky.

This bag is really cute and practical. I had been looking for something that would fit more than my small crossbody bag but something really comfortable to carry. This fits the bill. The strap is thick and there is ample room inside the bag to hold what I need without it feeling too bulky.

Brought this bag for travel, love it! Hold all my things and two books (paper back), and does not feel heavy or bulky. Lots of pockets to keep valuables, and easy access for things as needed.

I needed a travel purse/bag; something not too big nor too small and this bag was perfect! The color is quite neautral, and the fabric is sturdy, it shouldn't show wear or stains. Lots of room for my iPhone, keys, checkbook, etc. I think there's even plenty of room for a mini iPad. I really like cross body bags, which allow freedom of movement for my hands, and I feel they are a more secure way to carry a bag. Lots of color/design choices so I might decide to get another one!

This bag is the best! It's attractive and convenient. It was the perfect accessory for travel, hiking/exploring, and shopping too.

This bag is a great size for daily use. Very lightweight with two zipped pockets on the outside for cellphone and whatever else you want easy access to. Great colors. Love KAVU!

I really like the layout of this bag. It's a perfect amount of space for essentials (wallet, phone, keys) plus a few extras (water bottle, book, jacket). The polka dots on the "Hot Dots" pattern are a lot brighter pink than the picture--so bright, in fact, that I will be exchanging for another pattern. But overall, I would recommend this bag.

I've owned this purse in 3 patterns now. The only purse I've ever liked. Super comfortable, fits almost anything I could ever need, great for travel, washes fabulously. I love it.

Love it perfect for busy moms everyday purse!

OMG I love this bag!!! It is durable and supportive, as it more evenly distributes the weight of the items in the bag and doesn't put as much pressure on my shoulder. (I like to carry a 1-liter stainless steel water bottle with me everywhere I go.) The design is cute and is versatile enough to wear with most outfits. I am very happy with it and will definitely look to Kavu for my next bag when it is time to replace this one. I am guessing this one will last me a long time too!

This is my 4th Kavu Sydney Satchel - because they are AMAZING. Just the right shape, and just the right size to hold a wallet, phone, and whatever else you need to haul around.

Very nice bag. Happy to use it as a slightly larger purse. It seems comfortable and well-made, works as both a shoulder bag and crossbody. The two external pockets are nicely sized. I ordered the Deco and the Palmetto - keeping the Palmetto because I prefer the colors. The inside of the Palmetto though is a very dark navy which will probably make it hard to visibly find things. The Deco had a nice brown on the inside.

I purchased this bag for a trip to Belize and Guatemala. This pattern hides dirt really well. Fabric and zippers feel durable. Great capacity and comfortable to carry a full water bottle, paperback book, sunscreen, snacks, etc. in for a day. I'm 5'2" and had a hard time finding a bag that would hold what a wanted, feel secure and not look huge on me. Even though I purchased for vacation, I've ended up using it as my everyday bag on the weekends. It has a casual look and the pink, while it might seem like it would clash with a lot, hasn't. Key hook in the front pocket is a great touch as are the zipper pocket and two slip pockets in the main compartment. Highly recommend this!
