The main reason I sent it back was the slip pockets were too short for my phone (Samsung Galaxy). I couldn't zip the purse shut. I guess I could have kept my phone in the exterior zip pocket, but that's not where I like to carry it. Also, because of the way the zipper curves up into the handle, it's hard to open the purse enough to really see what's inside.

I thought this bag would be large enough but it is not. Seems to be nice quality.

The bag itself seems ok. The material is a little rough but it feels like it wouldn't soften up nicely with use. My biggest issue is that the photo makes this look like a navy blue. This blue blot is definitely more teal than navy. I'm not a huge fan of teal.

I got this bag to match my summer lifestyle; lots of travel, lots of outdoors, and lots of time with my dog. I *like* the bag, but there are some definite issues that will make me happy to retire it when I get back into my fall-winter-spring life. 1. I got the bag in black. I have a Golden Retriever. The material of the bag is a real dog hair magnet... I mean, most things in my life have a nice coating of golden hairs, but this bag may be transforming into a puppy. 2. The exterior zip pocket really opens... and it opens too far. I lose my keys out of it often because I unzip it in a hurry and things come tumbling out. 3. It doesn't hold as much stuff as you'd imagine. I thought I might take this on an overseas trip, but it just can't contain all my junk. Can it hold a standard Nalgene bottle? Yes. Can it carry all my liquids in a quart-sized bag, my cosmetics, my passport, a notebook, sunglasses, and phone and still zip? No. Overall, not a bad bag, but not my very most favorite.

Very functional. Not quite as soft and flexible as I'd like, but is still comfortable to wear. Nice not to have to worry about a nice purse during outings to ballpark, beach, etc.

The Sydney Satchel is a great neutral color and the arrangement of the pockets is just super. I wished the zippers were more of a blending color and easier to slide. They are like ordinary dress zippers. The reason I am returning the bag is because the fabric is not pleasant to feel. It is rough and starchy feeling. I am a touchy-feely person about the stuff I have to carry. It has to feel nice.

I returned this bag. The material attracts too much lint on the outside, was constantly picking strings, hairs and other things off of it. Also, the shape of the bag and placement of the zipper make it awkward to open easily. I usually love Kavu bags but this one was a miss for me. The pockets, and room in the bag was great, as was the quality of the bag.

I got this bag with the intention of bringing it on vacation. It was way bigger than I thought it would be. More of a day pack than a purse. Also the material seemed a bit too sporty like a buttpack with a shoulder strap.

I love the size and style of this bag. The 2 major drawbacks for me are: 1) the cotton fabric attracts hairs and lint - so not ideal if you have a light-haired puppy like I do; 2) the inside lining is quite darn and the zip narrow so finding things is not easy. But I am keeping it because I really needed a bag and didn't have time to exchange it for something else. I love Kavu but I am going to stay away from their black cotton in the future!

I have the black one. The material is just horrid. It picks up all dust, lint, hair. My friend at work bought it too and she sold hers. It was a waste of my money. I will never use it. But, I did but the one that is red/yellow/black. It is a different material and I love it. It functions well and looks cool. So, just beware of the material on some of these designs. I would purchase additional colored bags.

Was not impressed. Very stiff material and zipper not easy to use for as much as I would need as an every day purse. Gave it to my 7 year old daughter for a travel tote. Would not recommend for an every day purse.

I was disappointed. The outside material, including on the shoulder strap, tends to be scratchy and picks up lint, making this black purse look like it has dandruff. The interior is small and cramped. It is serviceable, but that is all.

This bag is very small. Actual compartment measures 13 x 13 X 1 1/2 inches. The info on bag said 4 1/2 across bottom. Not happy at all, especially spending this much.

I could love this bag. But, the material used is horrible for pet hair and lint. It collects everything. If you have a pet you can forget it! Unless you want to constantly roll it with a lint brush. My friend bought the same bag and she does not have pets, but sold it because it picked up any and all lint. If the material used was changed I would buy this again or recommend it. But for now, it gets a big thumbs down. I have other Kavu bags and they do not pick up lint like this one.
