I hunted all over for these shoes - I purchased a similar pair 5 years ago. My husband threw them out so I wouldn't keep wearing them everywhere. Finally, I found this website where I could order 2 more pairs. They are the most comfortable shoe I wear. I love the colors.

Great little sandal - I bought these shoes to attend my graduation. They looked dressy yet comfortable enough to stand and walk for periods of time. The leather (black) looks high quality and the straps across the top adjust for size variations. Very comfortable shoe with very little break-in period.

Feels great! Just got this shoe in black Nubuck a couple of days ago and I am very pleased with it. The leather is soft and comfortable and the shoe is eminently adjustable---something Clarks' sandals have not been in size 12 and 13 since they took the buckle off the ankle strap of the old reliable Sunbeat. The shoe represents the best of both worlds---a return to comfort and adjustability, but with a lighter more updated look that's slightly more dressy than the Sunbeat.

These are comfortable and beautiful. They are dressier than many sandals of their type because the embossed patent leather wraps onto the inside and over the heel. Felt good right out of the box.

True to size. Nice neutral color. Straps adjust nicely for narrow foot. Comfy from day one.

This is really an attractive shoe. We bought it for an older relative who needs comfort and stability when she walks. She loved that this shoe could be practical and beautiful to boot. Unfortunately we had to return them. Our family member normally takes a 6.5, but we found she needs a 6 in this shoe. A nice feature is that the vamp is fully adjustable with Velcro, so if you have a bunion you can easily accommodate.

Very comfortable walking shoe. A little breaking in time due to stiff leather edges on patent leather. Also, although black patent toe sole looks real good, it's a little uncomfortable. Great looking shoe for dress or walking a short distance.

Velcor does seem to be strong enough for strap to lay flat. I have other shoes with velcor and they work great.

Disappointment. Definitely wider than marked. Edges poorly finished. Strange squeaky noise when I walked - possibly would work out, but I don't have time or patience.

What's really nice about this show is that all of the straps are easily adjustable with velcro closures, so if your feet tend to swell or shrink during the day or depending on the weather, the show can move with you. These are very comfortable walking shoes. The only down side is that they don't have any arch support to speak of. But they are attractive and low-key enough to wear with many different kinds of outfits.

Love the sandal, but need to wear band aids under front strap which rubs right under toes on top of foot. I should not have ordered wide, shoe is very good in width. Love the height and support.

This is my first pair of Clarks and I have found them to be very comfortable in the width. Each strap has a velcro strip which helps to adjust the tightness according to whether my feet have swollen throughout the day. I only wish that the inner sole was more padded because I have nerve damage that has affected the soles of my feet, which makes any little bump feel like a mountain to my sensitive feet. I have been a loyal wearer of SoftWalk for many years and miss the extra padding, in these Clark sandals, that the SoftWalk brand has in their shoes. In any case, I would certainly purchase this Clarks sandal again if the need arises.

The black patent is the only color of this shoe I would suggest. It looks a bit more expensive than the flat black. It doesn't have a lot of arch support. I'd say if you don't have problems with flat flip flops, then you'll be OK in these. The heel is barely above flat, too. The best thing about these shoes is the all over adjustability, so if you have a wide foot, you're good to go. As with most of the Clarks, go a half size up from your usual.

Good 'Ol Clarks - I have always had good luck with Clarks and these shoes keep my luck going. They are comfortable and reasonably attractive for velcro-type sandals. I need the velcro to adjust for swelling arthritic feet. Oh no, I have my grandmother's feet! Buy these sandals and your feet will be happy.

Almost perfect - I am a fan of Clarks shoes and was excited to purchase the Sarasota. The fit was great and comfy as well. But...the seam where the elastic and leather meet under the toe band wasn't smooth and, after a full day's wear, left an abrasion on the tops of both of my feet. I've solved the problem by getting heel cushions, cutting 2 pieces to size and sticking them onto the seams. Works fine and my shoes are great!

Wonderful, but... I love Clarks, and this shoe is built as well as all of their others. However, I pronate badly in one foot and there is not enough support to hold my foot in this shoe. The back strap seemed to want to lean inward, as my foot does. Too bad, because in every other way they're great for a narrow foot like mine.

Happy Feet - Clarks Sarasota sandals I ordered met my requirements for comfort, excellent appearance, and the fit is terrific. The heel height is perfect for walking and the sandal is easy to put on and remove. My feet have arthritis and I have extreme difficulty in finding shoes that are tolerable for more than a couple of hours, however, Sarasota sandals make me feel I am floating. People ask me about the sandals and where I got them and I am pleased to tell them of the fast efficient service I received from Zappos. I have no hesitation in recommending this product and Zappos service.

Not exciting - but VERY comfortable - I needed some comfortable sandals for travel and vacationing in the south. These are perfect for running thru the airport or down the beach.

Comfortable sandal & FAST SHIPPING! I've been a Clarks Sunbeat and Springer shoe customer for years and have worn them out! The Sarasota has a more modern, less clunky, look and is quite comfortable. I like the velcro straps on the heel and the arch. The velcro strap over the toes hides a short elastic strip, so not as adjustable as it appears from the picture. All in all, an attractive and comfortable sandal. I must comment about the extremely FAST SHIPPING I received! I ordered my shoes at 8 pm and had them at my door by 9:30 the next morning! I've never heard of such fast service - and have told many friends about Zappos.com!

What a frustrating shoes! The adjustable fit and support and soft, breathable leather are all heavenly. But the first day I wore them and was mainly on my feet, my soles were badly abraded: the top layer of insole leather stops short of the ball of the foot, and, over extensive walking, scrapes and scrapes at the sole. Also there's a little hill in an improbable place, also toward the ball, that isn't comfortable. What a near miss! I haven't decided yet whether to return them with this complaint or keep them for lighter duty. Still, it's maddening that shoes clearly designed for comfort fail in trivial ways, so needlessly.

I've liked Clarks shoes in the past, but these had virtually no arch support and not a shoe I'd want to wear very long. Unfortunately these need to be returned.

These shoes fit well and feel good but the micro-suede lining makes my feet too hot in hot weather.

Very comfortable shoes, however there is a ridge line right under my toes that I can feel each time I walk and I know that will be annoying so sadly these must be returned.

I just returned this shoe. I have foot problems and carefully look for shoes that open up all the way. This one appears to but there is elastic under the upper adjustable strap so it is not very adjustable. The description does not say this. It is a very pretty color but just didn't work for me even in the extra wide.
