The shoe is adorable and comfortable but at 6 oz, seemed quite heavy and clunky for a very active toddler who loves to run around. I returned and purchased a similar shoe from Merrell that was much lighter.
I'd also recommend:

My son wore these for a couple of weeks and they created identical sores on both his feet. If I would've allowed him to keep wearing them, he would have scars there. The shoes were also impossible for him to put on himself. Very nice looking but for some reason they rub on the inside causing sores. We returned them for a better fitting shoe.

I bought these for my 7 year old. The loop to place the strap in is very small. I could barely do it. I knew it would cause future problems, so I returned it. On top of that, he doesn't like the feel of Keens. For some reason, I thought I could convince him with this super cool camo look. I didn't even try when I couldn't get that darn strap through...

These shoes look like they are great quality, but the heel went in and was too uncomfortable for my 3 year old to wear. The size seemed fine, it was just that the heel of the shoe seemed uncomfortable for him.

We had the Keen Seacamp previously and they fit our son great. I was hoping these would be the same. Unfortunately the problem with these is the middle does not open up wide enough and it is very difficult to get our sons foot inside. I wish we could return them. I would not recommend if your child has even slightly wide feet. Instead try Keen Seacamp.

After reading numerous reviews about these sandals I decided to give them a try. I purchased a size 12 in black for my son and a size 11 in pink for my daughter. The only concern I had was the fact that some reviewers had mentioned an odor problem. And boy can I tell you - they do stink! They are super cute, extremely sturdy and apparently quite comfortable to wear - well...at least the black pair is comfortable. However, after the initial first week of normal wear they start stinking. Even my son is gagging when taking off his shoes. His new routine is to take off his shoes, throw them in the washer and run to the bathroom to wash his feet immediately. It's quite nasty. The pink pair I got for my daughter are completely different from the black pair though. Black pair: squishy foot bed, soft and flexible upper material, light weight, extremely stinky. Pink pair: harder foot bed, sturdier upper material (causes sore spots on ankle and pinky toe), heavier (although they are a whole size smaller), smelly but not as extreme as the black pair.

I want to love these shoes for my 14 month old, but despite the odor proof soles they stink! I don't know if my kid has particularly stinking feet, but they could really stand to be washed in the washing machine every night (I let them go for about 3 days though, until I am sure the teachers at daycare are cursing me!). I really like how they look and do commend them for standing up well to the washing machine. We have had them about 2 months and they have probably been washed 12 times.

I wish I could return these but they were worn out of the house! Darn...the ankle strap is too short to velcro nicely closed and my 2.5 year old does not have thick ankles or feet.

Overall, I had always heard great things about Keen shoes. I bought this for my 2 year old as what I thought would be the ideal summer shoe. However, this shoe is very difficult to get on. Once it's on my son is very comfortable in it and likes to wear it to walk in streams and water. But getting the shoe on his foot is such a wrestling match that he is crying and struggling and now won't wear them. The shoes also began to smell funny. I bought the shoe about 3/4 size larger than we needed so perhaps I should have gotten the extra wide ones. We tried on the H2 in a size 7 and had no problems getting them on. All the straps are at their most open as well so I think it runs narrow.

Cute shoe - This is a nice shoe. It looks really good and my three and a half year old son seems to like them too. The only problem is that they make his feet smell. I thought they would allow more air to circulate, but I guess not!

Not for wide feet - I bought these shoes for my 2.5 year old daughter. Unfortunately, I couldn't even get them on her because they are so narrow. They seemed like really great shoes otherwise, but definitely avoid if your child's feet aren't narrow.

Comfortable, durable, athletic shoe - This is a great shoe for a toddler. It's suitable for all kinds of activities, keeps kids safe on slippery surfaces, and looks great as well. My only complaint is that after owning these shoes for a couple of months, no matter how I wash these shoes, after only one day's wear, the shoes are smelly again. The anti-bacterial coating on the sole of the shoe doesn't last. Once the coating is gone, the rubber sole of this rather enclosed shoe makes for some smelly feet, even a two-year old's feet!

Overall I love Keen shoes. However, the fit of this shoe runs a bit small and high cut of the shoe makes it somewhat difficult to get on active toddlers!

These shoes are very cute. However, I wouldn't recommend buying them as a water shoe. We have had them only a week and the blue has run into the yellow and on to a pair of my pants.

These shoes makes my son's feet smell really bad. My son's feet never smelled with any of his shoes. That's a big concern for me. Not going to use it again ever.

The only shoes that my 6 year old will wear without complaining are Keens. We got a pair of the exact same shoes last summer and it lasted throughout the whole summer looking good as new - and my son is rough on shoes! After a couple months, they got a bit stinky, but after washing, they were great again. But, I'm not sure if they changed something or what happened - but this summer's shoe is horrible! It's only a few weeks old and it's falling apart! And it stinks to high heaven. The little rubber end on his velcro strap broke and all the stitching along the velcro is unraveling - so I'm sure the velcro is going to fall off soon. Rendering the shoe unwearable. Did I mention it's a few weeks old? Cheap shoes I get at Target hold up better than this. And it's an expensive kid's shoe. So disappointed!
