I purchased these for my husband to replace the exact same pair from several years prior. He loves the ruggedness, comfort and practicality. He particularly likes this style because of the closed heel.

2nd pair... I bought these for my spouse before we went to Italy 2.5 years ago. He wore them every single day and has worn them pretty much every single day since we returned - in the rain and even in the snow. He says they are, hands-down, the most comfortable shoes he has ever owned, so we just got him another pair. He still won't "retire" the older ones, but now he has a new pair for our trip to Italy this fall. We both love Keens.

Multi-Purpose Hybrid - * Awesomely comfortable and good-looking shoes * I just had these shoes basically underwater on a 6 hr whitewater rafting trip * Then, come out of the water, and hiked 5 miles through mud, rocks, and stones * Shoes performed flawlessly * At the end of the day, I rinsed them out, and threw them in the dryer for 20 minutes * Good as new * My only complaint is the clamminess that develops when you wear these shoes on dry land, which you will, but that is a Keen thing, and you need to get used to it.

Love My Arroyos - I love these shoes. I've worn mine now almost every day for nearly a year. They are perhaps the most comfortable shoe I've ever owned. I backpacked in them for two weeks with a 60 lb pack; one day put in 25 miles. Never had a stone in them even though they are so open and ventilated. Never a blister, or even a sore spot. I can't say enough. I'm on-line now to order my second pair.

Keens - Love these shoes. I will never will go to another brand than Keen on these. They make a great shoe. They are lightweight (great in the summer), and great for hiking. They slip on easily. All good stuff.

Don't leave home without them! At the last moment I decided to purchase a pair of Keens for a trip to the rocky, mountainous country of Croatia. Little did I know these work horses would be all I really needed. They were comfortable even when worn all day, protected my toes from the rocks yet kept my feet cool and they are waterproof. I trekked the mountains by day and they looked great enough for casual dinners. A top notch shoe, light weight for traveling, and all you'll need.

Everyone comments on these shoes - Very comfortable sandals. My wife has a pair too and loves hers. We both wear orthotics and these sandals accept them with no problems. We just took our sandals on a trip to visit family and we got several people asking us about them and where they could buy some.

Good summer walking shoe - I was able to wear it for extended walks with minimal break-in time.

Very comfortable casual sandal - I bought these for my husband. He is extremely picky about his shoes, especially sandals. He doesn't want any toes showing and doesn't like the side vents to be so large as to allow toes to escape. He says they are really comfortable and he could walk miles in them.

Great shoe! Great service! Ordered these shoes late evening central std time and still got them the next day, I was shocked kudos to Zappos! I wear rigid orthotic inserts and need a semi closed heel to keep them in place, these shoes fit the ticket. I also am a size 14 and that is hard to find. This is my second pair of Keen shoes; the first pair did not have the semi closed heel so I had to find something else. I was comfortable in them as soon as I put them on. The wider toe area was very important to me.

These shoes work very well for me overall. However, after about a year, sections of the bottom / tread started coming loose. I have used shoe glue to patch them up as they happen for now but don't know how long that will continue to work.
