This is an absolutely beautiful shoe. It is classic and refined yet sturdy, with a heavy lug type sole that should last for years before needing any work done. The toe is fairly narrow (my husband is a 12E) so I would recommend ordering one width wider than normal.

I've had them at least 10 years, alternating wear with other shoes. They are still going strong. A truly well-crafted and beautiful shoe. I wear them with casual pants and slacks.

Really nice shoes. Typical of Allen Edmonds, it was hard to throw down this type of money on shoes, but, these are worth every dime. You get what you pay for. I love these shoes. They are very comfortable. The quality is exceptional!

Just buy them. Really. This is wifey-poo here - I did not tell my husband what they cost, I just said, try these on. He could not believe how comfortable they were. I could not believe he actually would put on a pair that was stylish! So we both win. As others have said, just bite the bullet and pay the money. They are worth it. My husband has narrow feet and has a hard time finding shoes that fit, so this is absolutely heaven for him.

I own 6 pairs of Allen Edmonds and these are by far my favorite. Trust me on this, bite the bullet and spend the money. They are so comfortable and good looking that you'll want to sleep in them. My only regret is I didn't find them 20 years ago. This is my go to when flying as it makes walking around the airport so much easier. They dress up a pair of jeans and shows you have class instead of wearing a pair of tennis shoes. Buy them now, you won't regret it!

This is a great shoe; it is comfortable, I wear it with jeans and chinos. If it gets a little scuffed, it only looks a little more rugged.

I really like these shoes. I normally would have ordered it from Allen Edmonds directly, but I was on Zappos to order some Asics for myself and Mizuno baseball cleats for my son. The shoes were missing the shoe bags. I contacted customer service and she informed me that there was nothing that they could do about it. I asked why were they missing, to which she replied that Allen Edmonds must have not given them the bags. I said I could just return them and reorder from Allen Edmonds. She then asked if she could help process my return. It seems to make no business since to me that Zappos would rather accept a return on such an expensive pair of shoes than locate two Allen Edmonds flannel shoe bags. I am disappointed with this response from Zappos.

This was my second pair--the pup chewed up one of the first pair. These are sturdy shoes that look good. I wear 9B and many stores don't carry that size. They arrived promptly and just as advertised.

Great shoe! Very comfortable right out of the box, and the ideal shoe for business casual days at the office.

Very comfortable. I wanted to buy an American made shoe and was impressed but Allen Edmonds history. The most important thing was comfort. My job involves being on concrete, tarmac or some sort of poured floor while walking upwards of 3 miles minimum a day when I am on site. The Wilbert works perfectly for me. No ball of the foot ache or arch pain with these shoes. Would buy again, and will, in a minute!

These shoes are absolute perfection. The color is rich, the toe box is narrowed so it isn't clunky looking - but definitely does not pinch. The refined tailoring of it makes them look good with slacks - but the slightly rugged sole, makes them look good with jeans and khaki's as well. On top of all of that - my husband says they are like walking on clouds and his feet that normally hurt now find comfort all day in these shoes. Worth every penny.

Great shoes. A little stiff at first, but after a week or two they feel fantastic. My only criticism would be that the insole is too flat with barely any arch at all.

First time I have ever purchased shoes without trying them on first. I love these shoes. They fit great. Look great. Comfortable. Very pleased with the product.
