This is the first pair of Allen Edmonds shoes that I have ever purchased, and they are hands down the best pair of shoes that I have ever owned. I could not be happier with them, and will definitely buy Allen Edmonds again. As always, the service at Zappos was excellent, and my shoes arrived earlier than expected.

This Could Be a Great Shoe -
The look is classic and the workmanship is superb. However, the fit is a tad tight in the width (M). I was at first going to return the shoes for a wide width but decided to wear them and allow time to break in. As I said, it was a "bit" tight, not excessive. So, time will tell.

Love the shoe, but beware!
I love these shoes - the fit and the way they look. But one year into them, the sole is splitting in the front. I have many shoes I rotate through, and these are treated well (stored in a closet, cleaned, etc.). There's no excuse for spending this much money and getting such questionable quality.

I have long struggled to find narrow width shoes. Have looked at AE before but didn't make any purchases. I regret not doing so. Bought a pair a month ago and love them. They fit well, look great. My wife said I should order a second pair to have when these wear out.

Literally just adding to the reviews that this shoe has way more charm than it's given credit for, and is seriously one of the comfiest shoes I have ever tried on- no sneaker has ever come close. I do hope that this shoe isn't gone for good! (And with the chunky split toe trend about to go mainstream, what timing!!)

Can't believe you are discontinuing this shoe. I have worn these shoes on a every day basis for at least 10 years & get a new pair once every Year. Absolute shame to discontinue this Classic. What shoe are you going to manufacture That your company feels as comparable? Suggestions?

This is my second pair. The first one is 25 years old with a couple of resoles, and still going well. I remember your sales manager, Michael Dubuque, said I could walk anywhere even climb any mountains with this Wilbert. He was right.

Best business casual shoe made. Works with jeans, cords, khaki's especially when matched with a Harris tweed jacket. I bought two pair because I heard they were being discontinued. Please tell me that was disinformation!
