Perfect ballet flats - The shape of these shoes is absolutely perfect, and they have a nicely cushioned sole that is really comfortable. I usually wear a 7 1/2 and am happy that I bought an 8. I would definitely get a couple more pairs!

I love these shoes! I have wide feet, so I ordered a size larger than I usually would, and they fit perfectly. I had ankle surgery last summer and my shoe choices are thus very limited. But these offer enough support. They are some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. Though not great for wet weather and not the easiest to clean, they are still wonderful, and I highly recommend them.

French Sole's Sloop - I normally take a size 10 in a shoe. My feet are wide and the shoe runs small, so I had to order up a size 11. I love these shoes-very comfortable and fashionable too.

I listened to other reviewer's advice and ordered a 1/2 size up and it was a perfect fit. The shoes are cute and simple, the perfect everyday flat. It was my first order with Zappos, but I have already placed (and received!) the next one since.

Soo cute! It took me about 2 wears to break these in, but they are quickly becoming one of my favorite pairs of shoes. These aren't hiking shoes, guys. They are stylish slippers to finish off a favorite outfit. I've received tons of compliments, and plan on buying them in black (I have the chocolate pair.) VERY cute! Re: the sizing, buy a half size larger than your regular size - I wear an 8 and bought 8.5 and they fit perfectly.

Comfortable, adorable. My feet are wide just near the toes and I did get some minor chafe there, but it cleared up quickly. They run slightly small, but don't order them too large. Since the front is unstructured, it collapses a little if there's too much room. Overall, a great shoe. The design is unique enough to make the shoe look pretty hip. I would definitely buy another pair in another color.

I adore these shoes! I bought them in pink and they are comfortable like bedroom slippers but so cute and have this great sole. I bought them in my normal size 7 but I had to buy a size 8 because they run a little small... Great shoe, great look!

I liked the color of these, the run quite small. I ordered a different shoe but would have had to size up a full size I think.

These are beautiful shoes especially if you are looking for something slightly different from a regular black flat. The issue for me is that it was just too narrow. If you have slightly wider feet this may not be the best fit. Otherwise, narrow feet people - this is a great flattering shoe and worth the money.

It is hard to write a review without explaining the fit from the start. When I ordered my usual size (9) and tried to put them on, I could not even get my foot in. Returned for a size 9 1/2 and even that size was tight at first try on but now they are conforming for a better fit. I now understand why they are compared to ballet slippers.

When it comes to a well made basic flat, this is my go to. The style is simple and quality is nice. They run half to full size small, order up! I have a black and brown suede pair for now but want a black kappa pair. These look great with jeans and dresses, nice casual.

I love the look of these shoes and the leather is buttery soft. I read many reviews before ordering. I went with my true size 7 because some reviewers said that these are meant to mold to your feet and will stretch with wear. They were very snug and although I can't say they hurt, they weren't comfortable either. My big toe was showing through the leather, pushing the material and even with stretching, I felt like they weren't ever going to be truly comfortable. At this price, I want a shoe that I will look forward to wearing often. I did try wearing them for most of the day (just inside my house) and they still didn't feel any better by the end of the day. I liked the style enough to re-order them a 1/2 size larger (7 1/2) so we'll see. Thanks to Zappos for making returns/exchanges so easy. It's worth noting that if you go to the French Sole website they recommend sizing up 1/2 size larger so I hope this works.

These looked super casual, but didn’t fit my feet at all.

Super cute. These suede ones fit much bigger than the regular leather ones. I didn't really have to break these in. Hoping they hold up well!

READ IF YOU ARE ORDERING RED PAIR. I really wanted a red pair of these shoes to wear as I love having a pop of red in my outfit. However, when these shoes arrived they were definitely not red, they were more of a hot fuchsia or dark pink. So if that is what you are looking for, these are great shoes but they are definitely not red.

After reading the reviews, I ordered my normal size 9. (Also, my feet are neither narrow nor wide but I have bunions.) When the shoes arrived, I tried them on and found that they were incredibly tight and short. I was ready to pack them up and return them but I remembered what others had said: they loosen quickly. And yes, that's absolutely true. I wore them around the house for a few hours and now they are very soft and comfortable. The toe box area is the last thing to soften and conform to your foot. I am very glad that I did not order a half-size up. The shoes would be falling off my feet now.

These are lovely shoes that look beautiful on my feet except that they are too small, so I am exchanging them for a larger size. I really hope that they fit because these shoes are so sexy with the potential to be very comfortable. I very rarely wear heels, but I need to have dressyish shoes, and these could easily go casual to reasonably dressy. If the next size fits, I think I will begin a collection of this style.

I typically wear an 8 or an 8.5, so I ordered both sizes and ended up keeping the size 8. After eight months of occasional wear, I actually think I should have gotten the 7.5! They've stretched out enough to where I have about 1/2" of space in the toe. It's not a huge deal, but definitely not "fit like a glove" at this point. The inner sole bit is loose in the shoe, but they've held up fairly well. I can't imagine the breaking in process for a smaller shoe as the size 8 gave me a bit of pain for a few weeks.

I love these but they don't work for my feet. I read the reviews carefully, and ordered half a size larger since my feet are a normal width. The shoes were the right size, but they cut across the big toe joint, causing deep red marks (and eventually blisters if I'd worn them longer). My toes were a little jammed in the toe box, but I think that would have stretched out. I have super high arches, and my second toe is longer than my big toe (Morton's toe). I use a metatarsal pad insert to help balance my step across all metatarsal bones. The shoes were high enough around the heel that I could easily wear that metatarsal pad insert (also an arch support). Finally, I walk heavy on my heels, and this shoe probably didn't have enough cushion there. If you don't have any of these "conditions," I think you will love this flat. Order them 1/2 size up (unless you have narrow feet) - they are super soft and will stretch. I hate to give them up - so cute! - but will have to look something else to suit my feet!
