Customer Reviews French Sole Sloop

Love these shoes; they're super cute! But they're not very sturdy...the soles came loose the first time I wore them, and now they stick to the bottoms of my feet. So while I do love them, I'm guessing they won't be around for long.

Love them but ordered a half size larger based on reviews and they were too big. Reordering smaller size.

Cute shoes...I got these for work, and have been very happy with them.

This is a very pretty shoe that I was surprised to find is also very comfortable. I work them to work the first day and took some bandaids with me just in case, but never needed them.

Great little flat with jeans. Very comfortable even though there is not a lot of arch support. The materials used bt FSNY are really fun!

Listen to all of the other reviews and order a size up if you have a wider foot! I ordered my regular size in the orange tie dye and a size up in the camouflage. I had to exchange the pair that I ordered in my size. The size up, however, are super comfortable. The first day, I walked a lot for work and then wore them to the airport, where I did even more walking, they did not rub at all (even with my big feet). There is also a little padding in the sole of the shoe, so they don't feel as flat to the ground as other ballet flats. I love the fun color/patterns they come in. I already bought two pairs, but might go for a third! Definitely one of my new favorite finds!

These are super cute, but very delicate flats. Be prepared, they are super flat, so I wouldn't recommend wearing them for long periods of time. Make sure to order at least one half size up from your regular size. I wound up ordering one full size, as my feet are a tad on the wide side. They are very classic and work well with jeans, slacks, dresses, skirts, capris, etc. They have a squishy sole that also molds to your foot, but not a whole lot of arch support. The material is very nice, too!

I got the Zebra Suede flats and I am not sure I have ever loved a pair of shoes more. They are super comfy and ridiculously cute. But, I did order a 1/2 size larger than marked per the advice in these reviews and I'm very glad I did - I'm usually a 7 and a 7.5 is a very snug fit.

Great shoe, very comfortable. I usually wear a 7.5, tried the 8 based on the reviews, and had to exchange for the 8.5. I love these shoes, bought the black leather, about to order another pair in brown.

Beautiful design for flats. I'm slightly disappointed that the arch support was not better however the problem is not bad enough to keep me from wear them a lot and I do get compliments when I wear them.

I ordered this shoe in both the bronze metallic suede and the chocolate suede. Both colors were lovely, but I really fell in love with the bronze metallic suede. It is a very plain but beautiful shoe. Very comfortable. I found they ran a little on the large size though and had to reorder a half size smaller. They feel like a slipper to wear which is great but there is little cushioning so I can't imagine wearing them all day if you are on your feet all the time.

Love them! If I could have every color, I would. My feet feel free, like I have no shoes on. Gorgeous casual style, with an unique appeal. Very well made.

Zappos is the best online company I have ever bought from. This pair of shoes was everything the other reviewers claimed. They are as comfortable as slippers, but also a little short. I ordered a half size longer than I usually wear and as advised, they fit perfectly. I would highly recommend these to anyone who has trouble finding a comfortable flat. I have bought less expensive shoes and regretted it many times over. I'd rather pay more for one pair of comfortable shoes than have three that hurt my feet.

Cute casual - Purchased the bronze and found it a great neutral color. I have narrow feet and found my true size fit very well with little time needed to break the shoe in. Comfortable for short term wear. Will most likely purchase another pair.

French Sole suede shoes!!! Omg!! I just love these shoes...now have 3 pairs!!! Brick, black and red! They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn...like going barefoot!! But buy a 1/2 size larger than you usually wear...I almost always can wear a 7 1/2 but in these shoes I needed an 8...and I guarantee you will love wearing them and I adore the way they look...ordered red suede from another company but would have taken me forever to break them in!! I took these rights out of the box and wore to the mall immediately!!

They are WONDERFUL! A fun chic shoe. They look great with jeans, capris, and a casual skirt. They are comfortable and stretch a little, so order your true size. I now have them in three colors and hope that the lime green is restocked. A great addition to every wardrobe!

Like a Slipper - This shoe is of very soft, good quality suede. Trying them on for the first time, they felt like slippers! I'm normally a 9-10 in all shoes, and I got the 9 1/2 red. My big toes were very squished & tight. After walking around my house a bit, they stretched out some, but still fairly tight. I recommend buying 1/2 size up, or setting some break in time aside before wearing them about. This shoe is also fairly wide; about 3/4 off my foot (I'm approx narrow-med width). Definitely get this shoe! Amazingly comfy (just get the right size!)!

Cute and Comfortable - These shoes are soo soft and comfortable that it feels like you are wearing slippers... and they look great with jeans and baby-doll dresses. I get lots of compliments, too. I own two pairs. I have wide feet, so I had to go up 1/2 a size.

Not as good as they looked... I loved these shoes when I saw them, but after a couple of wears they lost any shred of shape and just looked unflattering. They are also really uncomfortable on my feet... I find that I really don't wear them much at all any more.

Cute shoe! I just bought these shoes in chocolate and I think they are really cute! They are a perfect shape and feel comfortable right out of the box. I normally wear an 8 1/2 or 9 depending on the brand. I ordered these in 9 and they are perfect. I think if I ordered any larger they would fall off my feet or the sides would be too loose. The only downside is very little cushion, and the price - for what the shoe actually is - is too high. I'm not returning them because they are cute and very comfortable, but I'm wondering how long they will last. The suede is very soft and I can imagine normal wear and tear at the office or walking outside would wear them out faster than other shoes. If they were half the price, I'd be tempted to order another color but even at 1/2 the price, they are still expensive for a shoe that looks like it will wear out quickly.

French Sole's Sloop - The shoes are very cute! I am still breaking them in so the comfort level is getting better. When you first start to wear them they cut into you a little at the top. I recommend getting them a half size larger. I will definitely get another pair. It’s really nice to wear a cute shoe and still have the comfort.

Too Small - This shoe is so cute, and extremely soft. I'm thinking it would have been an incredibly pleasure to wear! I wear an 11 in everything, and it was way too short. I saw that others said it was 1/2 a size too small -- it felt smaller than that. It's a darling shoe though!

Comfy right out of the box - I ordered this shoe in metallic pink, and a week later got it in the metallic gold because it was just so comfortable. I have terribly sensitive feet - and don't wear at least half of the shoes in my closet because they rub, chafe, blister my feet, etc. This is one of the only shoes that was comfortable right out of the box - and for me that is saying a lot. I’d say the only slight drawback is that the sole could be a teeny bit thicker/squishier, to make walking distances a bit more comfy -- but other than that -- these are perfect.

I have the shimmery pink version of these little flats, and I adore them. I live in NYC, walk to and from work every day (about a mile each way) and these do pretty well for me. NO arch support, but there is enough of a cushion on the inside that they can withstand some city walking. I am a very narrow size 8 normally, and in these I am an 8.5. Great shoe!
