Sad for women with larger feet - I wear a 10 and could not get my foot into the 10 (bought it elsewhere), I wish French Sole made an 11! Definitely size up at least 1 size when ordering.

French Sole Sloop - I received my SLOOPS today - this is the 2nd pair I ordered. The first pair was my regular size (9) and that was NOT happening. I needed the 10 - as the reviews said - so I have the 10 and it is much better - snug but not tight and I know they will stretch. LOVE THEM!

Nice, stylish shoe - This shoe looks great but was a little tight when I started wearing it. It is better now but not good for extended periods of walking. Zappos service is the best I have found with next day delivery and easy returns. I enjoy doing business with Zappos have recommended the site to several friends.

They are WONDERFUL! A fun chic shoe. They look great with jeans, capris, and a casual skirt. They are comfortable and stretch a little, so order your true size. I now have them in three colors and hope that the lime green is restocked. A great addition to every wardrobe!

Great CLASSIC FLAT - This is a great classic flat. Before I bought the shoes I read all the reviews and I thought based on the feedback bought an extra size up. I am normally a 9 1/2...have wide feet. I got a size 10. After wearing them a couple times, they stretched alot. You can go either way, I think -order your size or a 1/2 size up. They are a soft suede so they stretch a ton! I got the brick color and they are very attractive, make sure you treat them, mine already have little spots on them. They are very delicate shoes but a must have in your closet. The only negative I have is that they have no support at all. So if you have a bad back don't plan on walking in them all day or you will kill your spine.

Comfortable shoe for everyday wear - These flats are very comfortable and adapt quickly to your feet. They do stretch a little and begin to show quick signs of wear and tear within three to four weeks of wearing.

Adorable without being cutesy! Everyone was right. Order 1/2 size larger. The shoe has a great look. I wore them last week and have several compliments. It surprised me because it is such a simple shoe, however, less is more and this shoe has great style.

FSNY Sloop - I do a lot of walking (live in NYC), so it’s very hard to find flats that won't cause blisters. These are the best ballet flats I have ever purchased. They do feel very much like slippers which means they don't offer much support. The back is very soft and does not cause blisters. Best purchase. Hope they get more! Although I did order a half a size larger and did get the wider one which was a perfect fit.

Amazing flats! These are the most comfortable flats in the world (and I have tons of flats). I have this style in two colors and they are now the only shoes I wear to work. They feel like slippers and are the only shoes I've ever owned that have never given me blisters. I wear these a full size larger than my normal size. They have also stretched a bit, but it's a small price to pay for such a cute and comfortable shoe.

I read a lot of the reviews to order a size larger, but I would actually recommend ordering true to size and bearing with the pain for the first few times. I did this, and after wearing them about four times, they fit perfectly to my foot and are really comfortable. I think if I had ordered larger, they'd be falling off my foot now.

Very comfortable but a tad frumpy - This is an extremely comfortable shoe; it's almost like a slipper. Like previous reviews, it doesn't have a lot of support and/or cushion, so I wouldn't recommend it for an all day walk around the city, but it's perfect for running errands, the weekend or going to and from work. I have it in the bronze glitter, but just ordered another pair in black suede. I think they are true to size.

Delightful! The splendid little ballet flats feel like slippers -- they're amazingly comfortable, and the red suede is the perfect simple-yet-eye-catching shoe. I get compliments on these every time I wear them. As other reviews have noted, these shoes run small, so order up a half size. They do stretch a bit with wear, though, so don't go too crazy with up-sizing. I'm a bit worried they won't wear well, and they weren't super-cheap, which is the reason I gave them 4 rather than 5 stars.

Impractical, yet irresistible - I love my pair of pink sparkle French soles. However, all the criticisms are true. Gets dirty easily, not much padding, and sadly the shoe does begin to lose its shape after too-short of a time. It's still the shoe I reach for that looks cute with everything, and feels good to throw on...I'm wishing the maker would give it a little more structure so it would last. Make it a little more worth the money and I'll buy it in every color...

So small - I wear a 6 or a 6 1/2 and couldn't get my foot in the 6 1/2. These run small, but I'm not sure if a 7 would be too big.

Great ballet flat - I have been searching for a simple flat - no bows, heels, or sparkles. This is great! Definitely order a 1/2 size up, and you may want to consider an insole - there is no support and the cushioning wears out - a two dollar Dr. Scholl’s insole solves it well. I want every color!

I have already sent these back... though they were absolutely adorable. They fit quite small (about a half size)... and I could tell that the taupe color that I had ordered would have been destroyed upon first wearing. And the toe shape... so adorable, but with wearing it seemed like it would collapse. :( The search continues.

I saw these shoes at another store and fell in love w/them but they didn't have my size. Order a half size or whole size larger - they run small. They go w/everything! The soles are coming out after a few wears already. I don't think they are worth the price though.

Perfect - I completely agree with the other reviews, buy this shoe a 1/2 size larger. I did and it is perfect. I have received so many compliments. Due to the thin sole, when I walk on hard surfaces it feels as if I am barefoot. I bought an insole (a half one that is just for the heel) and that solved the problem (it is not a problem on carpet - just hard surfaces).

Cute, but pricey - These are adorable and I am overall pretty happy. As stated in other reviews, they have no support. My main complaint is that they don't hold up well. I've been wearing them for a couple of weeks (I walk a LOT) and they look trashed already. They've stretched out quite a bit. If they were cheaper, I'd still buy another color. Hoping for a sale...

This shoe runs very short! I usually wear an 8 1/2 M, sometimes an 8 in wider shoes and on rare occasion a 9 in narrower shoes, but the French Sloop runs very short. The pink is more of a mauve color than pictured. They would be prettier in Nubuck. I had to return anyway because of the short fit.

Break it in, then it's a great shoe! Do not expect these to be great on day 1. You must order at least a half size up, maybe a whole size. Then wear them around the house with socks on for two days, they stretch a lot. Then they are the best flat you'll ever own. I love mine.

Not worth the price - But I kept them anyway. Love the look, but not for walking much as there is no sole/ no support. I have slippers with more on the bottom. They do stretch out of shape fast, run a size small, and need weatherproofing or they will be ruined in the rain or even a puddle. Why can't I find this shoe with more sole???

Like a Slipper - This shoe is of very soft, good quality suede. Trying them on for the first time, they felt like slippers! I'm normally a 9-10 in all shoes, and I got the 9 1/2 red. My big toes were very squished & tight. After walking around my house a bit, they stretched out some, but still fairly tight. I recommend buying 1/2 size up, or setting some break in time aside before wearing them about. This shoe is also fairly wide; about 3/4 off my foot (I'm approx narrow-med width). Definitely get this shoe! Amazingly comfy (just get the right size!)!

Cute and Comfortable - These shoes are soo soft and comfortable that it feels like you are wearing slippers... and they look great with jeans and baby-doll dresses. I get lots of compliments, too. I own two pairs. I have wide feet, so I had to go up 1/2 a size.
