Nice Shoe - Good multi-purpose shoe. Very comfortable, waterproof. Just spent a couple of days in monsoon-like weather and my feet stayed dry as a bone.

Great Shoe - Rugged look and well made shoe. Ordered size 13 but returned for size 14. This is my second order from Zappos. I'm VERY impressed with the fast shipping and customer service!!!

Keen Targhee II Anthracite - I love this shoe as an everyday shoe... I wear Targhees to work more often than any other shoe. It is very comfortable. I sometimes have to walk as much as 5 miles for my job and these shoes hold up. They are more breathable than 99.9% of the shoes out there. They also do an excellent job of keeping my feet dry in the rain. This is my 3rd pair of Targhee 2s. Shoes run a full size small.

Everyday shoe - This shoe has held up to everyday abuse. My job as delivery driver is hard on shoes. The bumpers, concrete, rain, snow & mud just eat up shoes. Not these, the laces wear out before the shoes.

Great looks but don't hold up as well - I have had multiple pairs of Keens and keep coming back for the comfort and looks. While the looks and overall comfort are what is expected in Keens, they do not hold up as well as my other pairs. I found with normal wear and tear the soles started to come apart much faster than other Keens. The laces also quickly begin to fray. While Keen has better looks and comfort, they do not match the durability of Lowa.

Great Shoes! Great Service! I bought these shoes 1 year ago and the soles began to separate. I contacted Keen and they told me to return them through any willing Keen dealer. I contacted Zappos, printed out a label, sent the shoes in and in 1 day they had me a new pair. What a great company!!!

Good shoe but not quite as much arch support as I expected.

Exactly what I wanted... These turned out to be just what I expected...They look great and feel great. The size feels just a little bit small. But from my experience with Keens, I'm sure they'll break in just fine. They have that "fat" Keen look, which I love. :)

Put to the test - My shoes arrived on Thursday and Friday I left for a weekend folk music festival. The rain started the minute we showed up. Needless to say everyone was drenched. However, my feet were dry and comfortable. Right out of the box and they were great! I will order KEEN again!

I Have Two Pair - I bought a pair of these on 03-10-07. They do run a little smaller so I bought a 1/2 size larger than I usually wear. The fit is great. The footbeds are better than most but I always use orthotic beds so I changed them out. They are definitely waterproof but they do not breathe well so be prepared for some hot feet if it's hot outside. When it's cooler, no problem. They wear like iron and look great. The wrap around rubber toe is wonderful for your foot when you slam it into brush and rocks and it keeps the shoe looking good. Traction is good whether its rocks, loose talus or mud you are on. When I'm not "off-road" with them, I wear them to power walk in everyday for at least 2 1/2 miles. I usually wear a pack (17-20 lbs.) and always use trekking poles when I walk. I try to stay in shape with the gear I may use at any given time. I use Swix rubber tips on my poles for my everyday walking. I wore all the lugs off the bottom of the first pair of shoes after 280 miles of walking on asphalt and a little concrete. I bought a new pair just before leaving for Durango, Mesa Verde and the Sandias. I wore them on Animas Mountain, Goulding Creek Trail in the Hermosa Cliffs, Petroglyph Point Canyon Trail in Mesa Verde and South Crest Trail in the Sandias. These shoes wear like iron except for the soft lugs on their soles. I don't think this is much of an issue since by the time you put 300 miles on them on the real trails, they will be more worn overall compared to daily walking around town. When I wear the soles of the second pair out, I will probably buy another pair. Keen makes a very high quality shoe. I wish these had better breathing. The original pair that I own looks almost like new until you look at the soles. Both pairs I own are the Walnut color which really hides the dirt and scuffs. The lighter colors that are offered may not keep their new look as long as darker colors.

Perfect light hiking shoe - I bought these shoes just before a week of hiking in southern Utah. They performed great with little break-in time. One of the most comfortable shoes I own. Plenty of room for your toes. The soles seem to be more durable than most. I usually take a 9.5 size but based on the other reviews decided to go up to a 10 and they fit perfect. Thanks to Keen and thanks to Zappos for providing such great service.

Best all around shoe - This is the most comfortable shoe I own. I got a 1/2 size larger than normal and it fits me like a tailor made glove. They're also much lighter than they look. They breathe better than most waterproof shoes, but are still too warm for summer (that's what Newports are for). They really are waterproof, too. I've stood in a stream half way up the laces and stayed dry… and they cover terrain like a 4x4. AWD for your feet.

Great shoe - This shoe is all day comfortable right out of the box, I would recommend to all. On the down side just a bit odd looking and if your feet get warm easily this is not the shoe for you, they don't breath. Believe all the reviews; get a half size larger than your norm. I love them and the Zappos service. Zappos could teach all others about customer service.

Great Shoe - You need to order 1/2 size above your normal size. Nice wide shoe. Good fit.

Loved these shoes - I got these shoes for a trip to Arizona and the Grand Canyon, which obviously required a lot of walking and hiking, and all I can say is: I couldn't have picked better shoes. I had never owned Keen shoes before, but I will definitely buy more in the future. Great looks, extremely comfortable, durable. Highly recommended

Great comfortable shoe - Get half size bigger - I think this is one of the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned. The footbed is very soft and feels solid at the same time. The shoe does fit about a half size small. I wear a 12 and a 13 fits really good.

Hooked on Keens! I bought these in the Fog color -- and absolutely love them! They are so very comfortable. My feet have never been in such a comfortable shoe before. I always wear a size 9, but with these, and my other Keens, I wear 1/2 size larger -- 9 1/2 -- and the fit is great. I want to order another color in this style!

Love Keen Brand, but... I have purchased many Keens for myself and a couple pairs for my husband. This shoe is comfortable and good looking, but I will be sending it back as the top of the shoe ripped apart where you lace it up and tie it. I had the exact same problem with the Targhee's I bought for myself. Maybe this is just a small defect with this shoe.

First pair of Keens - Have no fear - I've been very pleased with this, my first pair of Keen's. I have a 4E width foot and these fit comfortably. They have great arch support as well. I have no gripes with these shoes. I did order them too small, but with Zappos quick and painless exchange policy it was no issue.

Targhee II -- a very nice shoe - After reading other reviews, I ordered this shoe 1 size larger than normal. I was a little skeptical because my Keen sandals are 1/2 size larger than designated. However, the others were right, this shoe runs small. For me 1 size up was the perfect fit. For the first few wearings I had trouble getting the laces tight enough to feel comfortable on rough terrain; but it must have been a wear-in issue because they are very good now. I rated the arch support as moderate because I generally have to replace all my OEM insoles with firmer ones. These insoles are better than most manufacturers provide out of the box.

Great work shoe! I am a window cleaner and love that these shoes are waterproof, sturdy & flexible. I love the shoe laces too...this is a high quality shoe and perfect for working and hiking.

Dry Feet- 22 Mile down hill bike ride in rain, my feet were dry and no one else in the group had dry feet.

Great Travel shoe - This is a great shoe. I purchased my pair for a trip to Ireland where I would be doing a lot of walking in wet conditions. The shoes performed wonderfully keeping my feet both comfortable and dry. They are also light weight and travel well. I did have to exchange my first pair due to size -- believe the reviews -- these shoes run at least a half size smaller than marked. I normally wear a 10 and had to move up to a 10 1/2. I was thankful that the exchange process at Zappos worked so smoothly.
