felt loose in the heal

Comfortable shoes. I went 1/2 size up as others suggested and they are perfect. Very happy.

my 1st pair of keens and i'm super disappointed. the heel box is huge! your feet heel will slide around. making for a really weird fit. i dont know why a shoe would be designed like this, thats actually dangerous. if it wasnt for the wide heel, these would be excellent fits. Thanks God for zappos return policy.

Great shoe, however I needed to return them for a size bigger as my toes rubbed the front of the shoe

I've purchased over twenty pairs of Keen shoes over the years. The toe box of this particular shoe was narrower than normal. My toes feel pinched. Not as much room in the toe area than other Keen's I've purchased.

Ordered 2 pair of Keen's, both same size 8 1/2. the other pair fit but these feel too short and my toe hits the inside of the shoe. Not disappointed though, returned them and ordered 1/2 size larger.

They don't hold up to regular use. If you get these, make sure that you buy a bottle of shoe-goo. You'll need it to re-fasten the soles of the shoes, and you will probably need to do this every 6 months to different parts of the shoe.

After many years and pairs of Keens, I have to say the change in the last in the Voyageurs and Targhees makes them unwearable for me. Both too wide and too short at the same time.

Very happy with these shoes, I'm on my feet most of the day and they feel great!

Great shoe but not as depicted. Returned for minor change...tongue does not have loop pull attached on the shoe that I was sent, yet it showed one in photo for the pair that I thought that I ordered. Also, the size felt a little wider than an older pair that I have. Might also be because I have been wearing a pair of Oboz's for the last years or so.

I bought these for my son and cannot believe how much he wears them. He not only uses them to go hiking, (which he loves) but he uses them as an everyday shoe because they are co comfortable also look so nice. Overall I would highly recommend these Keen Targhee II's!

Love these, very comfortable for a shoe with good support.

I ordered three pairs of these- one low cut and two mid ankle cut all size 11 when normal for me is 10 1/2 and my toes hit the end no matter how tight I laced them. I ordered another pair in 11 1/2 and it was the same problem. I really like the style of the shoes but for me they are cut strange. I think the arch support is not high enough to hold my foot back. I don't think I have flat feet. I ordered a pair of the Salomons and they fit fine so I kept them and sent the Keens back. I love Zappos return policy! No questions asked. A great company to buy from.

My husband is 72 years old and works around the farm. He has worn Keens for years because they provide great support for his feet (critical for diabetics). And the style is great--not an "old guy" look.

These do seem to run a bit small. I wear a 10.5 wide shoe but the last two pairs I've had of these I had to go with a 12. The first pair I've had for maybe 4 years and I've worn the insides out and the tread is pretty worn off as well. I've put hundreds of miles them and bought my second pair because of my satisfaction with the first. They look a little cartoonish, but that's part of their charm :)

Ordered my first pair of Keen's based on lots of recommendations from friends. Couldn't find a Wide (EE) in any style but these and I was hoping to find more of the tennis shoe style. These feel a little big and boxy but overall they are fairly comfortable. Ordered my usual size of 11 1/2 EE and the feel a little shorter than normal.

Small and Heavy

Runs about a half size to large. Will definitely order again but in he correct size.

I never made it out of the house with them. I ordered a size larger as was advised. I wear a 15 and ordered a 16. I could put a full finger between my heel and the back of the shoe. They felt big,my foot slid back and forth. The second time I went to put on to wear around the house the string loop pulled loose. I wouldn't order anything a full size big again. I didn't have them on long enough to comment on the rest of the fit. Returning them was an easy process and didn't have any issues with that.

Good quality but difficult to get laced tight. Insole is rigid and very uncomfortable on feet. Gave it a few weeks to break in but didn't improve. Looks good but did not perform well for me. Zappos customer service is top notch and remedied my problem asap. A+++ for service

Overall I love this shoe. This is my third pair - the last two I’ve worn into the dirt. The Targhee II is a solid, rugged and stabile short profile hiking shoe that lasts and lasts! Yes it feels a little clunky when you first slide them on ... but tighten the laces and your feet snuggle into place. The bulky rubber toe covering - though not stylish is highly functional. I’ve added a pic of my last pair which are now 5 years old. Sole is worn out but still functional should I need a backup.

This is my second pair of Targhee II’s. Really nice light hiking shoe. Good approach shoe for rock climbing, good grip and traction on all surfaces. I read that they ran small, so I ordered a half size larger than my normal shoe size...I don’t think that was necessary. Next pair I’m ordering my true size.
