Boots are well made, I think they will wear like iron and was really hoping that they would break into being a comfortable boot. but for me it was not going to happen. They just made my feet hurt. Hoping I can exchange them for something else.

The fit and comfort are fine however; the glue used to attach the two-piece sole has come apart. The rest of the shoe is not worn out and the shoe is now useless.

DURABILITY AN ISSUE WITH THIS BOOT! All reviews I read before purchasing are dead on: Very comfortable, buy a half size bigger, lightweight, etc. I thought I'd finally found my dream boot; HOWEVER, I wore these while backpacking with a 30# pack on Washington's Olympic Peninsula...very muddy, constant drizzle, rocky coast. After 2 hours my socks were soaked through in the toe area, and after only 8 miles on these brand-new boots, the outside lower seam had ripped open about an inch on the left boot. It is worth noting that ALL SEAMS ON THIS BOOT ARE SINGLE-STITCHED---no reinforcement. Keen has a good thing going here, but if they want to tap into the backpacker market, they'd better get more serious about it. Comfort: 5, Look: 5 (who cares if it's comfortable, right?); Durability: 2. Fortunately, Zappos is great about returns and refunds! I love doing business with these guys!!

I waited a few months before writing a review so I could give the shoe time to break-in. I don't doubt the glowing reviews of this boot but in my case the shoe didn't quite live up to its billing. The workmanship looks to be very good but I found very little arch support and that the size seems to be smaller than stated. My main complaint though is that the boot leaks badly. I bought it for day hiking and as an occasional lightweight backpacking boot but due to the way it soaks up water I'll only use it around town. I guess I'll go back to wearing Lowa boots.

Decent boot - The Targhee is a decent boot though it indulges is some of the wacky styling that's happening right now. It fit comfortably but its' arch support was a little lacking.

Keen Targhee fit - Got the Targhee about 2 weeks ago and really love the looks. Great sole and comfort is reasonable. Only drawback is the shoes feel smaller than advertised size. I usually get 11 1/2 in just about any shoe. I got the 12 for the Keen and it is barely wearable. The fit is very tight with thinner socks that I would prefer wearing...

Bought in February and they are starting to fall apart 8 months later.

Keen soles and heals are separating from rest of hiking boot. Bought June 27 2021. Todays date August 15 2023. Only worn for mowing and yard work. Is this normal? Can they be replied? Great boot otherwise. Toe box very roomy.

My husband loves Keen shoes and has had many pairs. He bought these and was extremely happy with the fit, support and comfort of them. Until, at only 6 months of moderate wear (yard and garden work, maybe 3 days a week), the soles began to separate all over. Now he's going through the onerous process of trying to file a warranty claim and he's getting the runaround. $150 is a lot to pay for 6 months of part-time wear on a pair of boots. We won't be buying Keens again.

The sole detached after three months of low use. If your a hiker, save your money by looking elsewhere.

Great wearing boot. The workmanship or assembly was poor. I had to re-sew and glue some of the fabric in the first month of use. After 12 1/2 months of light to moderate use the soles started falling off. I will not buy Keen’s again.

Destroyed after only 2 months!!! My first time buying Keen and will never do it again.

Not pleased with this product. I have not had these boots for two months, and a hole has already developed where a seam is failing on the exterior of the boots. It's no small hole either this product stinks. It was a good fit and offered great support for the three weeks I used them. Don't spend your money on this product.

Have worn this style of Keen for many years. I had to go up 1 size this time. The style must have changed slightly.

Third set of boots, excellent quality & fit especially if you have foot issues

This is my husband's fourth pair since 2019. He used them for work boots. They wear well and he is very tough on work boots.

I purchased this lightweight hiker for my husband. There was no break-in period needed. This boot is very comfortable and gives good support. It keeps his feet warm and dry. I have the woman's version, so I purchased this for him. This boot is highly recommended!

These have been great. Fit nicely. They are my “go to” shoes

I read that Keens have gotten narrower recently so I ordered the wide and it's perfect. There's plenty of room in the toe box. These boots are comfortable right out of the box.

This is a show for those with a very wide foot (4E) and those in need of very aggressive sole lugs. I just received these and expect them to preform great as that has been my experience with Keen. First step of getting foot into show without flexing out the sides of the toe box accomplished.

They were a good fit with ankle support; moderately waterproof, and comfortable with good traction in all weather. I am hard on shoes as we engage in rigorous outdoor activity including farm work. After almost a year they are holding up better than other similar shoes I have owned in the past.
