Product was what I wanted good fit good quality. I can't say enough good things about Zappos customer service & shipping is beyond compare; any other company is a disappointment.

My first pair of Keens and am quite impressed. I bought these for work where I am on my feet all day. They have held up very well so far and am going to buy a second pair for everyday wear around town.

Having "problem" feet, I really like Keen boots because they have a very cushy foot bed which is important to me. I have owned four pairs of them. They have held up well, but then I am not very hard on shoes.

I work all day on my feet and have bought workboots that may last 6 months and they are trashed. Decided to try these and they are so comfortable and take a beating. Zappos even overnighted them for free. I'm still waiting for a refund for a different pair of shoes I returned to another website (5 weeks).

Great boots, light, flexible, supportive. I use them for motorcycle riding as well as light hiking.

My 10 year old loves these shoes. He wears them everyday, and we don't have the usual foot stink problem we have had with keens in the past. He thinks they are very cool, and I like that they are waterproof and versatile.

I bought these in prep for a long week at a trade show. A lot of walking and standing. I tried a number of brands and these proved the most comfortable. They were great for the show use and I'm very pleased with my purchase. They fit fairly true to size, possibly slightly on the small size. My first experience with Zappos was excellent! I'll be a continuing customer. Great selection and service!

I already owned a pair of Keen low-tops just like this and really like them. When I needed a pair of mid-level boots, I tried a cheaper brand, but they were just uncomfortable. Found these mid-height Keens on Zappos for only a few dollars more than the cheaper shoes. Like my low-top Keens, these were comfortable straight out of the box. As advertised, they are waterproof. I worked in 2 inches of standing water for two hours without a leak. Have not been hiking but I have worn them all day around town. No blisters or sore spots and very comfortable. I'll stick with Keens from now on.

My wife bought a pair of these boots for herself and found them more comfortable than any other boots she's had in years. She insisted I try a pair, too. She's 100% correct. These boots are great all around. Just be sure to order at least a half size larger than usual.

I owned Targhee II for almost three years. I originally bought them for a three day back country trip in the Smokies. My weird feet are flat, long, skinny, sweaty; notoriously hard to find comfortable shoes, and I must have room to wiggle my toes. The Targhees are fantastic and fit great. No break in problems whatsoever. They feel more like moccasins than hikers. In the Smokies I found that my feet can flex, I feel the trail to just the right degree, waterproofing works perfectly without steaming me alive. I agree with comments about these running half-size small. Some hot spots on top of foot in heavy use, but I attribute this to my weird feet instead of boot. I have this problem with nearly all shoes. Because they are so comfortable, these have been the shoes I want to wear all the time. The perfectly made trail sole is a bit too soft for heavy asphalt use. After three years of heavy use, the cloth lace eyelets are starting to show the first signs of fraying. Flex sole not comfortable for stepping on a shovel, but then it is not designed for that. I recently ordered Keen steel-toe shoes for work, and these do better with the shovel tasks. Overall, this is a fantastic boot: it is comfortable, practical, durable. It is also uniquely stylish without seeming to try to hard. Which is a result of its practical features, not useless froo-froo. I really like these boots, and have become a fan of the company. Keen, keep your engineers at bay. Do not let them mess up a great design!

These are great in water and snow, really comfortable. Only drawback (minus one star on comfort) is the plastic grommet where you tie the shoes: it grabs laces so hard it's hard to pull the lace through, and the shape of the tongue means the laces tie above the tongue sometimes.

I am a woman, but I bought these boots liking the reviews and quality better than any women's boots I saw. I tried on several pairs and these were comfortable right out of the box despite being leather. I have wide feet, and this is not a problem in the regular width, but I wish I had gone with a half size bigger for extra room in the toebox. These are sturdy boots, but not too heavy. I have worn them on several day hikes and they felt great--no rubbing in strange places and no blisters.

A good serviceable shoe that’s not bad looking for a decent price.they said they run small so I ordered a half size larger. Bad idea - mine ran true to size so I exchanged them. I’m hard on shoes, I hike 365 days a year in all conditions. Ive owned these before and they’re good for about 1200-1500 miles before the soles wear through (about 4 months for me). The uppers generally stay in very good shape until I retire them. Decent arch and ankle support and almost zero break in period. About average weight per shoe, and the laces last for at least 3 pairs. An inexpensive hiking/walking boot that can handle moderate to semi-tough conditions. Never had the water proofing break down. Just wish they made the soles as durable as the rest of the shoe.

Great service from Zappos again. These boots are okay, but they simply are not the quality of say, a Vasque boot. They work well for day hikes with a light pack, which is what I bought them for. The best thing about these boots is their easy on/off ability. They seem to offer a reasonable level of durability, but if you are planning any serious hiking or carrying a load, I would suggest another boot. Make these ones your extra pair.

I bought these boots because I needed waterproof hiking boots. I have been wearing Keen Voyageurs and love them. These boots require the same one/half size larger than other Keens. Compared to the Voyageurs, they do need breaking in. I hiked about 25 miles, during which time I had to tape up my ankles, because of the stiffness of the materials. The Voyageurs had required no breaking in time, whatsoever. On the plus side, they do have the nice wide toe compartment, which allows the front part of your foot to move without compression. Unlike the Voyageur, you should give these some boots some time for break-in.

I never know what size to order in Keens. I ordered a 16 since they usually run small, and they were huge. There was no 15 available, so I'll take my chances with another style. Fingers crossed!

I’m a contractor and I’m on my feet a lot. I found that I needed a mid rise boot to provide more ankle support to reduce knee pain. I chose these and ordered a 1/2 size up based on reviews. Keen has a large toe box, and the 1/2 size up was really too big to feel right. Beyond that, the boot sits too high on my ankles and rubbed them causing irritation. These issues combined with a shoe defect has me returning them after 3 weeks. Back to the Merrell Moab 2 for me.

Best hiking boot I have ever worn, in 45 years of hiking in rugged terrain. However, the design has a fragile element. The web loops through which the laces pass wear out quickly and cannot be replaced. I have resewn mine three times, and am now looking for a different design. Helpful customer service representative politely told me that the problem I was reporting never happens. 12 month warranty and 14 month old boots. Right. You will be buying another boot within two years.

Ordered a size ten for husband; fit, size, and width were fine. Sole delaminating began around 4 months after purchasing. By month six, delaminating on sole outer (both left and right boots) was such that husband tripped at times on the delaminated flaps. We have loved Keen for years - well over a decade of Keen devotees. The sole delamination is shifting us away from purchasing Keen at this time. This Keen Targhee II Mid men's boot did not last 6 months.

I wrote an earlier review and misidentified the product for some strange reason - I can't correct the review, so here's the correct version. I do not recommend these Keen boots. I bought these in February of this year and less than 10 months later, they are falling apart after what can charitably be called "light to moderate" use. I have not worn them on strenuous hikes and the outer soles are falling apart - the lugs are coming off and the uppers are separating from the soles. I had to patch them with Shoe Goo to get by. They are comfortable but of terrible quality. These are the last Keen products I will ever purchase. They are expensive junk. If I could box them up and send them back for credit, I would do so immediately. Zappos is a great site and has wonderful service and usually sells quality products - these are not that.

Great comfort, poor durability, the sole separated after 6 months, and treacherous in the wet, the sole offers no traction and is like wet ice.

I have had one other pair of Keens and they were one of those shoes that when you put them on your internal monologue just says "ahhhhhhh". These boots are no different. Most of my hiking is done with "low-top" hiking shoes but wanted to try a "mid-height" hiking boot with a bit more ankle support and protection. So far these Taghee II boots have not disappointed. Like other Keens, they have a wide toe-box which is what I wanted. If you are looking for a tight fit all the way down then these might not be for you.
