These shoes are true to size and very comfortable. They are great with casual and go well with skirts/dresses. Very retro in look; I highly recommend. Also, I like the color of this leather; goes well with black.

I was a little disappointed in the shade of gray -- more like a brownish-grey, than a bluish gray. But, since the shoes were squeaking a lot when I tried them on, I put some saddle soap (I would have put mink oil on them, but I am out) all around the points of contact of leather to leather, and then all over, and they are now both quiet and a nicer, more rich color. The leather is soft anyway, and the footbed is nicely cushioned. I usually wear a 6.5 to 7, and the 7 fit very nicely. I also have a wide foot, and the shoes accommodate that as well. The strap around the back heel does slip a bit, as others have said, and I'm hoping it does not stretch out further. We'll see ... Tempted to get another color!

These are my go to cute platforms this summer. I got them in Turquoise and they go with just about anything! My only complaint is that if you wear them a lot in one day, they will rub your toes - they may eventually wear in, but I think it's a combination of hot summer weather and the leather not breathing properly - but I'm talking walking the streets of NYC.

Great sandal, but I'm becoming convinced you can't go wrong with kork-ease sandals - comfortable from day one, and the wedge provides lift without the sensation of wearing heels. Love the blue!

I am absolutely in love with these. I slowly accumulated them in every color, because they are so comfortable, and they go great with shorts or pants. They are perfect for walking and are not stiff at all. Although, I agree with an earlier comment in that the black leather is stiffer than all the other colors. I have received many compliments and I'm just so happy with them, because they are comfortable for long periods of time, while looking cute. I love them!

Great shoe and exceptional customer service - I originally bought a 9, but it was a tad too big (I am an 8 1/2). I called Zappos, they had the proper size to me the next day. I dropped off the original pair at a UPS place and everything was resolved. The shoe is great and I couldn't be happier.

Loved this shoe!!! True to fit, very comfortable even though I tend to have a wide foot, these fit fine. Very attractive on the foot, and at 5' tall I really appreciate the extra height. An EXCELLENT all-purpose summer sandal.

Love these shoes - These were exactly the summer shoes I have been looking for. I first ordered the extra high wedge but returned them after trying them on. Looked great, but I felt a bit unstable. The original gives the perfect height and is easy to walk in. They were comfortable from the moment I put them on. No blisters or breaking in. If I could afford it, I would order more colors.

Great retro look - Love my Kork-Ease sandals. They fit well and are comfortable. My kids call them elevator shoes since they make me about 3 inches taller, but because of the platform, the "height" for my foot is gentle. I have a high arch, so I'd love these to have a bit more arch support, but they are still comfortable.

Comfy Sandal - I have them in the natural and now the chocolate and wear them for everyday. The platform is nice but not too high. Easy sandal to wear!

PERFECTION - The perfect sandal...Can be worn with pants, skirts, dresses; and what's most important, they are super comfortable. Great vacation shoe, since you only need one pair to wear with everything daytime! The gold color is really fun and a "bit" funky looking. You'll love them... I usually don't like to write reviews, but Zappos is a great place to do business. Keep up the good work!

A little different fit - I had these in natural as a teen, and ordered a natural pair last year. I LOVE them and decided to get the black. I ordered the same size, but the fit is quite different between the two. The black are at least a half size bigger. I think they'll be okay if they don't stretch out too much, but since there are no half sizes, I am sticking with the bigger one.

Awesome! Always wanted these since they were first out years ago, now have the metallic and the buff ones! Can't find a size that fits that well; they seem to start out kind of small, but the metallic ones that I've had longer are stretching a bit, and hoping for the buffs as well. Wish I could find 1/2 size larger than reg. size, but not available. But No. Way. I was sending them back! Easy to walk in, fairly comfortable, and ultra cute! A couple of wannabe brands out there too; I got several of those to cover some colors Kork didn't come in and sizes that weren't available. Only one that was comparable in looks was a style Moda Spana no longer makes, the others tended to have stitching outlining the straps, which makes 'em look just a bit wrong and cheap. Anyway, hoping to pick up more colors, and hoping my feet shrink 1/2 a size while I’m at it!

Awesome sandal - I have this sandal in brown, black, and silver. I wear a 10 and I found them to be true to size and width, and extremely comfy right out of the box. You can wear them for the whole day, long walks, no problem. I have a bunion on one foot, and so it is hard to find shoes with some height and style that are not seriously raked and put pressure on my bunion and toes. These give you the height, but keep the foot relatively level, and hence, more comfortable. I wear them all the time and would only recommend putting a thicker sole on right away, as the sole they come with is quite thin, and once you wear through it, you are into the very nice suede wedge, which is much harder to fix if you wreck it. Also, Zappos rocks!

Problem Solver at Last - This is my 1st pair of Kork-Ease shoes. I love them! I have a bad ankle from a break many years ago and have not been able to wear heels for a long time. These give me the feeling of wearing heels!

Super cute and comfy - These shoes are super cute and comfy, too! Just the right height. Love them! Note that the base of the shoe is solid and so there is only a little flex when you walk in them.

Kork-Ease Original High Wedge is a great shoe... Love this shoe!!! I have four in various colors and in leather and velvet and would like to have more...it's very comfortable, too!

Looks great but not quite as comfortable as older styles.

I have purchased these shoes in Ava before and I remember them being more comfortable right off the bat, but other than that it is a good-looking, long-lasting shoe. There are other brands that cost less, but I think real Kork-Ease shoes last longer.

I loved this shoe. So excited to get it. It looks great. Fantastic quality leather, color as shown except for one thing others have mentioned. The strap that goes above the heel just hangs there. It didn't even touch the back of my foot. It is just too long and there is no way to adjust it. So sad to have to return it for such a silly little thing. Could easily be remedied by making the strap adjustable. :(

This is a cute sandal and pretty comfy. It did rub my inside foot a bit and gave me a small blister but a Bandaid helped. But this sandal caused me to fall down twice the first two days I wore it and I have never had a shoe do that before so now I am afraid to wear them for fear I may trip and fall again. Just be warned but they are pretty cute.

These shoes are pretty comfortable, but I just don't like the "platform" look, I guess. I prefer wedges. I had a pair in high school, and thanks to Zappos' fast shipping and easy returns, I got to discover that I've moved on!

Really cute and sturdy sandals. Will go with my sundresses to shorts this summer. And seem to be great for trekking around NYC this summer. Even though I read the height of the wedge, they were a little bit higher than expected. As others said, they are a bit snug around the ball of the foot area, but I'll break them in by wearing them with socks while in my apartment before I start wearing them out when the weather is warm enough. Overall, love the look, feel, and design. Also reminds me of my mother's pair of white platforms she had back in the 70s.
