First I want to say that Zappos just rocks with their selections and service. Now I want to tell you that not all Kork-Ease shoes are created equal. I have the most crankiest feet anyone could ever have with a whole host of foot problems but I decided to try Kork-Ease as a last resort for shoes with a heel. First pair I bought came from Sundance. They were gold and I could wear them for days right out of the box. Just loved them so I decided to order another pair in black. Ordered them from Zappos because I just love their service. Unfortunately the leather (not Zappos fault by any means) was totally different from the gold ones. It was stiff and gave me horrible blisters. Thinking they would stretch I tried everything from shoe stretchers to leather spray. They never did stretch to the point of being comfortable. Then I saw these grey Kork-Ease on Zappos and I couldn't resist trying them again. Lo and behold they were the same kind of leather as the gold ones from Sundance. I could wear them forever right out of the box. I am in love with Kork-Ease again and of course Zappos for getting them to me the next day. Ladies, beware of the black and the buff colored Kork-Ease. They are not the same leather as some of the others. Love my new Kork-Ease!

Love, love, love these. As others have noted, they are a nice nostalgic throwback to the style we were wearing in the 70's, but updated with some additional height, cool colors (the Grigio is a perfect neutral for me), and a pretty cork laminate platform. Because the platform is quite high, they are comfy for standing and walking for long periods despite the height.

I ordered these shoes in both 8 and 9 (I'm solid 8 1/2). Alas, the 8s were too short and I think I could have used the 9 length, but they were so much too wide. If you are a half size and have narrow feet, you likely won't be able to wear these. It is really too bad because they are so comfortable. Thank you Zappos for helping me try to find shoes for my long skinny feet!

Love this shoe. They have a fairly high platform, but the heel base is wide and the ankle strap stabilizes your foot so you can walk forever in these. Very comfortable, stylish and stable. Perfect shoe if you want practical (can actually walk in them) and cute. I always wear a 7.5, ordered these in an 8, they fit perfect. My foot is on the wide side, initially had to break in the leather above my toes. Used band aid blister stick probably first 3 times I wore the shoes. Now they are perfect. The heel strap is a little loose (saw complaints about this in other reviews) once you tighten the top strap the shoe is very secure as you walk.. Wasn't a problem for me.

Love these! I have a semi wide foot and, at first, they were tight across the toes, especially on the right foot. However, I unintentionally wore them in the rain and they got soaked. I kept them on and wore them wet until they dried since I was afraid they'd shrink more (remember OJ's famous glove?!) and they stretched out a bit so that they're now really comfortable. They're much higher than I usually wear, but they're comfortable and I love the height. I have the tulip/purple, which is a dark fuschia pink, and it provides a fun pop of color when I wear them with jeans and neutrals. Enjoy!

Love, love, love these sandals. I had the neutral coloured ones last summer and wore them constantly. They are quite comfortable and give you height without the tilt because of the tall platform. They look super cute super cute with jeans or dresses. Got the blue this year and it is a perfect pop of colour yet goes with tons of items in my wardrobe.

The magic wand of Zappos strikes again. Ordered yesterday got it today - woo hoo! I love Zappos! As for these shoes, I'm a true size 9 (but not sure because I have 8 or 9.5 shoes) but I got size 10 on this, a half-size larger but it's okay. Love it! Thinking of getting another one in black. Thanks again Zappos! You rock!

I feel young again. Glad to be back in Kork-Ease. My last pair was in the '70s (all the rage way back then). They still feel great and look great. Love a shoe that gives you a bit of height and you can still walk comfortably.

This is an orange-red not a rose pink. Love this super comfortable clunky-cute shoe. Pretty light weight. I hope the straps hold up they are a little thin with the patent leather. These shoes do not require any breaking-in. I have narrow feet and the M fits perfect. Size down...I'm a 7-1/2 and the 7 is plenty big.

These shoes are beautiful and totally comfortable. The color is more red than the pink in the description and that is exactly what I wanted.

I have worn this almost every day (it's hard to change out of it because of comfort). The straps got a little too lose right away but still very comfy. Not too bad looking either although it is very casual. I'm getting another pair of Kork-Ease just so I have another one to swap this with. I'm looking at Bette. Hard to go wrong with Kork-Ease!

Well this is it, gals! This sandal is fantastic. It's comfy, not hard to walk in or balance on... it's just what I wanted for this spring/summer season! I had the front toe area stretched by my local shoe guy because I have the big ol' pinkie toes, but otherwise they've been comfy from the start.

I have 5 AVA love them! Comfortable & I have bad feet. However, I hate this natural leather strap in back of solid color! It's so ugly. Why? I want the orange but not with that different strap, so disappointed.

Zappos is amazing! I ordered these and they arrived the next day! The Kork-Ease shoes seem to run a little big so I'm exchanging them for a full size smaller. Love Zappos!

I love these hippie sandals. They are fun, hip, and easy to walk in. Gives you height without teetering on a heel.

I bought these sandals in the bronze color and absolutely love them. They are very stylish and will go with everything. Despite the 3" heel, they are quite comfortable. I am petite, so I love the added height. The straps that go over the top of my foot seem a bit snug, but based on other reviews I've read, I think they will stretch over time. Loosening the strap in the back helps. I usually buy Naot sandals in size 7 (38), Narrow to Medium width, and this pair of Kork-Ease fits similarly to me. Many thanks to Zappos for their outstanding customer service, getting these sandals to me before I even had time to blink!

The leather is soft so these are generally comfortable, and they're versatile--perfect for traveling, when you need something that can go with both shorts/jeans and a dress. I get compliments when I wear them, usually from people who were around the last time these were popular (70s). My one complaint is that they rub in one spot on my right foot. Since it doesn't happen on the left, it might be my foot and not the shoe, but be prepared to use moleskin just in case.

I really like this sandal. The footbed is nicely padded and the leather straps are very subtle. I especially like the color, it's unique.

Love these! I've always wished there was an woman's equivalent to the saltwater sandals I used to wear as a little girl and these hit the mark! These will be my main summer sandals (and my husband loves the 70's feel and cork wedge). :)

I love my Kork-Ease Ava! These sandals are better in person that I imagined. The soles are very spongy and comfy. The leather straps required zero break-in. I would say they are better than the Kork-ease of my youth. Best investment of the season!

I ordered these in the pink color with the cork sole and they are absolutely gorgeous! I had reservations about spending this much on a pair of sandals, but these are worth every penny! The perfect sandal. Just love it. I bought them in pink, which complements my skin tone perfectly. The shoe's platform is very comfortable, and flexible enough for my active lifestyle. The shoe makes my legs look longer and leaner, and are crazy comfortable too!

Very comfortable! Great color (green)! Heel is high but not hard to walk in because of the platform. Recommend!
