These were my absolutely very favorite shoes back during my late high school years ... when was that, you say? ... Don't even ask. Admittedly, these sandals were probably not exactly the same then as they are in today's modern version, though I would have to admit it's been too long ago for me to remember for sure, but regardless the style and feel are so close it doesn't matter. What matters most is that they are just as comfortable now as I remember them being then. And taking into account my age, (again, who's asking) and chronic joint and foot problems with all the associated aches and pains, I would have to say that this particular Kork-Ease sandal has definitely proven itself to be more than worthy, even considering the slightly above average price tag. So much so, that I'm ordering at least one more pair, maybe two. As for Zappos, you are incredible!!!

So cute and pretty comfy! I really wanted the ones with the higher heel but since I'll be very pregnant over the summer I decided to stay with the more conservative height. I love them! They go great with jeans and capris. I wear them all the time. My only complaint is the rubber sole at the toe is pulling away from the platform a little bit, but I think that's because I tripped the other day and I can fix it so it's no big deal.

Super Ease - I highly recommend this shoe for the versatility of style (can dress up or them down), superior comfort (dancing is easy) and a good heel height - not too high at 3". They're quiet too; they don't make annoying clickity sounds when you walk on concrete. A little pricey, but worth it as these will deliver years of wear. I will definitely buy another pair.

I love these shoes! They are so comfortable I wear them to my retail job and my feet never hurt. Because the sole is cork they are very light. They look great with jeans or skirts, I love them!

Love this sandal - You can't beat Kork-Ease. Amazingly comfortable, even on the first wear. Survived a surprise rain storm well.

Great, hip and comfortable - Love them. They are hip, with a funky style; look great w/shorts, jeans, and skirts. Last night I wore them out and heard someone say, "I love that woman's shoes..." And, for shoes that add 3" to my height, they are amazingly comfortable. I walked all day in New York over the weekend and my feet were barely sore by the end of the afternoon.

Kork-Ease Original High Wedge - I just love these shoes; they are my second pair of Kork-Ease sandals and they are very comfortable and so stylish. They are worth the price!

"THE" shoe for summer - I remember wearing these when they were a lot less expensive, and love them as much today. They easily transition from casual day time shoe to what to wear at night. I've put them on at 5 am for an early flight and not taken them off til 11 pm that night, and my feet were still smiling!

Comfortable & tall - These shoes make your legs look great and they are comfortable. You wouldn't want to run a relay race in them, but they're fine for standing/walking/strutting.

These are more comfortable than they look because the cork sole is light. They did not give me blisters and did not require breaking in. I have twisted my ankle a few times wearing them, but generally you can walk a lot in them without any problems. I think they go with just about anything.

Wonderful shoe! Perfect fit, comfort and looks! I wish I could wear it all the time (I'm a lawyer; it's too casual for Court).

Looks High But Don't Hesitate - It is the best shoe - After ordering three pair in different colors and heights, I figured I would return what didn't grab me. From the moment I put these on - I knew these would be great. Your foot is flat, so the height is no problem. With the right clothes, this platform looks completely cool fashion - more like an Anne Demeullemester than Frankenstein look. Buy if you think you will like them and you will be happy. Fits well, looks great - I would buy another later if the right color comes along - like pink suede.

70's flashback - yes, like many other reviewers, I had these shoes (in tan) when I was in high school. So naturally, when I saw them, I HAD TO HAVE THEM! They are very comfortable and true to size. Back in the day they probably cost $25.00, so, I don't understand why they are so very pricey now...well, I guess it's because they are so very trendy again. C'est la Vie! I bought them anyway, and love them.

High School Revisited - Love it - just not the price! Though must say compared to some knock-offs I've seen, the Kork-Ease are pretty darn comfortable and light-weight! Sizing was great (5) and usually I don't find that in size 5s.

Fabulous looking, but a bit small! Love, love, LOVE these shoes. They look and feel amazing. My only reservation, and it's not a huge one, is that they run kinda small. I always wear a 9 and in these 9's my toes almost hang over the end when I walk. Still, they're fabulous and I love them.

Happy Feet - I love these sandals! I have extremely large bunions so I am self conscious about my feet and these hide all of the flaws. They are extremely comfortable and look good with almost everything. I bought them for a trip to Hawaii and walked everywhere in them and did not get a blister or have sore feet.

So comfy! This shoe is so comfortable! It actually has the padded sole, so its not as hard as the soles used to be when Kork Ease were reintroduced. They are wonderful.

Quality, Comfort and Style - A well-made, comfortable sandal right out of the box. Good-looking too!

Retro - Makes me feel like a teenager again...not quite ready to pack away my boots yet but when it gets warm, I am looking forward to wearing these hip and groovy shoes. The blue color is fabulous!

Great fun shoe! Comfortable to walk in, no break in period at all. Love the blue color! Would definitely get another pair of Kork-Ease shoes.

A little wobbly but worth it! I'm not even supposed to be wearing shoes like these but I could not resist them. I agree with other reviewers about them being quite stiff to walk in. They have no give. You kind of have to concentrate on what you’re doing, or you just might take a tumble! But...having said that, boy, are they cute. And, I stand very tall in them, improving my ghastly posture! So, I say, get 'em. You can wear your orthopedic-type shoes another day!

Wonderful 70's come-back shoe! Great looking & very comfortable for wearing ALL DAY! (If they weren't so pricey I'd own several pairs! But they are worth the $$). Excellent, handmade quality workmanship & materials. Goes with jeans, cropped pants, skirts, dresses... Love this shoe!
