Perfect for my kindergarten age son! Easy to get on by himself and they look cool too. Very lightweight. I can't detect a smell, so maybe the green tea insole has something to do with it?

Fantastic shoes! What I have been looking for all these years. These are so easy to get on and off. My 5-year-old son takes them on and off by himself. It is wonderful not having shoelaces! The velcro straps are a dream for the mother of a child who is not able tie their shoes and shoelaces constantly come undone during the day of active boys of this age. It is difficult when kids cannot tie up their own shoes at school or when playing. These shoes make it so easy. They can put their own shoes on and off as they please. Very helpful. Great for school, playdates, running out of the house quickly, taking off shoes upon entering a home. I recommend these shoes for all young children. Shoes are very light in weight. Ordered the brown color to blend with many outfits and not look like tennis shoes. Zappos is fantastic as always! Wonderful next day free shipping! Don't bother to look elsewhere, these shoes are the best.

Great shoes, true to size, wide enough for my boy's wide foot. They look so good too. Only problem that my 2 year old likes to climb and play in sand box, so the front of this shoe rubs all of the suede off.

I have two little boys (ages 5 and 3) and have purchased 5 pairs of these so far. My boys really like them, every time I have offered a new athletic shoe, they tell me they like these better. The Podiatric seal of acceptance makes me feel even better about them. I will say that the last pairs that we bought, August 2010, seemed slightly lower quality, the trim on the heel peeled off, but no complaints from the boys. These do look worn out faster than other more common athletic shoes, seems like that just comes with being so flexible. Having realized that they are not going to last for a whole year, I try not to buy them too big. I am looking to buy some new ones now.

Love these shoes! So easy to get on and off, but they stay on once they are on! My son loved them from the first time he wore them. Really lightweight. Washable. Expensive but probably worth it! When he outgrows this pair, I'm just ordering another one!

I was very happy with the service. The first pair I ordered to large and the return process was no problem and the second pair was the correct size. I would use Zappos again.

Oh my goodness! I can't say enough good things about these shoes. My wee one is 3 1/2. Since his feet are still maturing, I love all of the features about the insole to these shoes. Most of all I LOVE the green tea insoles on these shoes. His feet never smell bad. Honestly, I invite you to smell his feet any time. AND, since my little one likes play in the dirt, I can just pop these shoes into the washer and they are as good as new. My boy is also learning to put his shoes on and take them off "all by myself". These large velcro tabs help him to do this task easily. My son's feet are wide, so the fit was great. He has literally screamed when trying on other brands, but these, he found very cool. I get lots of compliments on these shoes from other mommies as well. If you are used to New Balance and Stride Rite, I think you will fall in love with these Tsukihoshi shoes.

Great shoes! These are the second Tsukihoshi shoes that I have bought for my 3 year old grandson and we love this brand. Great shoe, lightweight and a good fit for children with wide feet or high instep. Would buy this shoe again and again.

I bought these shoes for my 5 year old son and he loves them. He calls these shoes, "fast shoes" because they are so light that he can run fast, I guess.

I like these shoes because my 2-1/2 year old son can put them on and take them off by himself. The shoes fit comfortably, he runs, jumps & keeps good balance. These shoes have not left any blisters or any other marks on his feet. The shoes give good foot support and are attractive.

These are my son's fourth pair and absolutely loves them! He especially loves them in red. Easy to put on and take off.

My son loves his shoes; they are very comfortable, and he is "running fast" now:) This is not a first pair of shoes from Tsukihoshi and we all happy with every new one. Highly recommend to anyone. Plus, my boy has really wide feet and these shoes are very comfortable and good looking; we definitely will keep purchasing from this brand.

My 7 year old son has been wearing this style sneaker for the past three years! They are awesome for school and play -- so lightweight and easy for him to put on/take off. Also, he wears an insert (orthotic) which slide right in because the shoes are soft and wider than most. (Superfeet makes a children's orthotic that can be trimmed to size.) Five stars for these babies!

My 4 year old loves these shoes because the are comfortable and easy for him to put on by himself. Best of all, they go right into the washing machine when they get dirty.

These shoes are the for my toddler. He learning to put his shoes on/off. The design of this shoe has one side of the "tongue" sewn down allowing for a large opening, making putting the shoe on easier. The loop in the back assists pulling the shoes over the heel. They also have extra strong velcro with a little tag to help with pulling the velcro tight. Wow! Love these cute, user friendly shoes. I will buy these again. Worth the price tag!

Our son is very rough on his shoes and wanted a sneaker that would hold up. Based on these reviews, we purchased these. Very lightweight and he can don them on and off by himself. He screamed when he opened the box. Will update after some wear.

I am a huge fan of these sneakers. They are light, machine washable, true to size and pretty durable. They are all my two kids have worn. I believe we've bought six pairs so far.

These shoes are great for toddlers and preschoolers. They are very easy for my 3 and a half year old to put on himself. This is his second pair. The first were hand me downs and have lasted through 3 boys and counting.

The shoes fit great and look great! I was bit skeptical at first due the orange color, but it actually works well with many different outfits. Plus my son loves the shoes, even tries to wear them to bed!

Super lightweight, breathable, very easy to put on and take off, good looking, lasted almost 9 months of everyday use. They are still pretty good, but the heels wore off and the black velvety trim got some bold spots almost right away, but did not bother us. My son loves them, he thinks they make him run faster. I love these shoes for my little boy. I bought the first pair when he was 2-1/2 and this is the replacement pair now that he's three. The shoes are very easy to put on and off (he can do it by himself now). And I love the way they are washable and come out looking fresh and new. These are lightweight shoes that he wears every day so they get a lot of little boy running and jumping.
