My 3 year old has been wearing these for the last 4 months and they still look great. We have the navy / red color and they are great looking shoes. I love how easy they are to get on and I will be ordering the next size up in these shoes when he's ready for new ones! I thought the sizing on these were correct.

This is our favorite style shoe! Tsukihoshi makes great kid shoes, and we have tried other styles, but always come back to this one. My son, who is now 4 and has some fine motor issues, can easily get these on and off by himself, which is a huge plus! They are the lightest weight shoes I have found (have tried pediped too and they are just clunkier) and they hold up well to wear. Some reviews say they break down easily but my nephew is currently in love with a pair that we handed down to him and they are still looking great. I have just learned to deal with the slightly higher price tag in exchange for a happy child who is proud of himself for getting dressed by himself and who doesn't trip over his shoes.

These are great shoes. They have held up to everyday wear and tear (we bought them for the start of the school season). They are still in great shape and my younger son will inherit his older brother's pair. They are wonderful because they are light yet sturdy, are easy to clean (throw them in the wash). And very easy for my 4 year old to put on and off on his own! I like their style and I like that they run a touch wider for my son's feet. Even though they are pricey I will continue to buy this brand.

Outstanding shoe and worth every penny. I love that these shoes are easy to put on and take off, and that they can be thrown into the washer without a hassle and come out perfect! I will buy these shoes from now on for my 4 and 2 year old.

My son is 2. In the past year, I've bought him sukis for every size since he began to walk. They're the only shoes he would keep on at first. I must confess, he needed a pair so I bought another brand, with lights, that he was drawn to at the mall. They fit well, but he began limping after wearing them more than a few hours. I broke down and bought him these...the fourth pair of the same style and color! He loves them, as do I. I'm a huge fan.

We are on our 10th+ pair of Tsukihoshi shoes for our kids. With two kids with special needs, I depend on routine and finding something that works. I'm actually depressed that my oldest just this fall reached the largest size they make and will no longer be able to wear their shoes. Since he was 2 or 3 he has worn the sandals and running shoes. When he grows out them we order them in a bigger size. Now our youngest is doing the same. This particular Tsukihoshi shoe is: light weight, easy to get on and off for kids with fine motor issues, super stylish and yet unique, MACHINE WASHABLE!, has an awesome anti-smell footbed, and is fairly durable, considering my 5 year old wears only these shoes, daily, and the last pair lasted 8 months until his toes started butting into the ends of them. We only upgraded due to his foot growth. The only complaint I have it the rubber at the end of the sole could be a bit sturdier. It did start to separate slightly in the first pair, but that could have been due to the pressure from his foot pushing into the front of the shoe. I will continue to buy these shoes for my youngest until he is above a youth 5. And then I will cry.

This is the second pair of these I've bought for my son. He loves them. They're comfortable and easy for him to put on himself. They are a full size smaller than he usually wears (they run big).

I ordered this pair of Tsukihoshi shoes in the Navy/Red for my 3 year old son. Based on the reviews, I ordered a 1/2 size bigger. I did not feel that these ran big and ended up having to exchange them for the next 1/2 size up. Zappos provided excellent service on the exchange! The colors are great on these and I love how easy they are to put on my son. They are super light weight and my toddler seems comfortable in them. I definitely will be buying this same pair of shoes in the next size up as he grows!

This is a GREAT shoe. The kids love it. Features I really love include the large single closure (easy for the kids to use, very secure) and slight dip over the Achilles tendon which eliminates blisters that my kids have gotten from other brands like Adidas that have a pointy back to them. The cushioning is perfect too - it's springy and strong enough for them to play rough, but doesn't artificially constrain their foot to any unnatural shape. I do not believe in "arch support," because allowing the foot to relax on the equivalent of a sofa actually makes the foot weaker over time, so I am thrilled with the gentle contour of these foot pads, just enough to keep the foot in position while allowing the muscles and bones of the foot to develop naturally. They breathe great, so the skin on my kids feet also doesn't get sweaty or irritated. They have just enough splash protection in the front to deal with mild precipitation, without interfering with the breath-ability of the shoe. Finally, they are super light - not a heavy shoe, which makes a big difference for a little kid, or for packing. I've found my shoe!! Will be buying more of these every time the kids get bigger. Also, we bought the 1/2 size, and it was totally worth it to have a good fit; I normally cheap out and try to only buy my kids shoes in whole sizes, but it was a nice change to see how well they fit when I got them the 1/2 size they needed.

I've bought these shoes for my toddler twice now because we like them so much. The way the velcro flap is designed allows him to take his shoes on and off by himself. Plus they look really cool.
I really like this sneaker brand. My older son (age 4) loves another Tsukihoshi Kids sneaker more than any of his other shoes.

Tsukihoshi shoes are the only ones my 4 year old really likes. When I say they are 'true to size' it may be a bit misleading since I primarily buy Tsukihoshi shoes now. When I do get other brands, they do seem a bit more narrow so Tsukihoshi may run wide. My son loves the wide velcro strap. It is easy for him to put on and take off his own shoes. They are also flexible and comfy. He has worn this style since he was 2 years old.

I bought these for my 6 year old son. He loves the velcro because even though he can tie his own laces, boys are just in a hurry when time to play. The color goes with everything and it has a great cushion for him.

I have been buying Tsukis exclusively now for the past 2 years for my 3 1/2 year old son. Not only are the shoes great looking, they are really lightweight and comfortable while still properly supporting my son's feet (arch and stability). This is a kid who used to SCREAM against wearing shoes or socks until the first time he wore his new red Euros; he went to bed with them and didn't take them off for 24 hours. It was an actual fight to take them OFF him. We have been buying different types of Tsukis since (Euro, Wheel) all with success. The shoes hold well to rough use (dragging his toes on the ground when riding his strider bike or ride-on cars) and it takes longer for them to fall apart than with other brands. They are not made of steel, so they do tear in the end but it takes months instead of weeks. BIG fan.

My son is between 8-8.5. We ended up order a 1/2 size up just because we wanted these shoes to last longer than 3 months. There is about a 1/2 inch room to grow. He loves these shoes, can put them on and take them off himself, and he loves to run in them. They are very expensive. But he has and we have no complaints so far. Not sure if we'd buy again because of the price. But they are otherwise great sneakers.

My sons favorite shoes! He wears an AFO and I fits nicely with it. Only complaint is that after a course months the rubber on one tow is staring to pull off, but it could be his gait so I am not knocking off any stars for that.

As other people say, theses shoes run a little bit bigger than ist actual size. My todler was using 11 and we needed to buy 11,5. However, for this shoe we needed to buy 11. they are very light and my son loves to wear them.

GREAT SHOE! My 2 year old son has wide feet and these are super easy to get off and on him. The Velcro also makes it easy for him, as well. Very stylish and supportive shoe for an active toddler, I highly recommend them. He's been in this brand since he started walking.

This is our second pair of Tsukihoshi sneakers and we love, love, love them. My son has wide(r) feet and they are super supportive. Well worth the extra money. I especially love the wide velcro..doesn't come undone easily. And I've put them in the washing machine!

These are awesome shoes! My son has been through many pairs of these over the years. They are comfortable for him, easy to put on or take off. Best of all, they can go in the washing machine and come out looking brand new.

My son has sensory issues. Everything he wears must be comfortable. He loves these shoes. He has been wearing this style from size 9. I just bought the largest size available and we will be sorry when he outgrows them.

I have these in a size 13 for my 6 year old. Love the style and comfort. My only complaint is that the velcro strap doesn't seem to tighten down enough for my kid's narrow feet. He has this issue with all velcro shoes. It's a bummer.

I love these shoes but make sure to buy at least one size smaller than your child is in. They run huge. I actually did one and a half sizes smaller and they fit perfect with room to grow.
