My picky toddler loves these - Light, easy on off, my 4 year old loves these shoes. They are light, and the tab on the back makes them easy for him to pull up so he can put them on all by himself "like a big boy." Buy one half size down, they run big. Great sneakers - These are lightweight, flexible and easy to clean. My son toes in when he walks and these are perfect for him.

I love how the tongue is stitched on one side - my husband thought this was weird at first, until we realized it serves the purpose of allowing a child to grab it and still have some control of it because it's partially attached, thereby facilitating a child putting on the shoe by him/herself. Sizing suggestions here are right on the money. Buy a half size smaller. The colors are vibrant and the shoes come on and off easily. My only complaint is that the shoe scuffs in the front suede area pretty easily. Within days, both the right and the left had faded/worn marks in the same areas. We also bought the brand's Denali, and though also great shoes, my son chooses these all the time (and I prefer the single tongue, too).

Cute shoes. My son is getting older so I could tell he wanted a shoe like the older kids wore. He chose the lime/black color. I knew it would happen, as it does to almost all shoes with the little flap of plastic up over the front of the shoe, but it is starting to peel away. For a this priced shoe, I wish this didn't happen. He drags his feet around when he bikes or scooters- so I know he is rough on them. Still wish they could stitch them on or something.

Don't buy 1/2 a size smaller - It said on the page to order 1/2 a size smaller in order to ensure proper fit. The shoes were too small. I like Tsukihoshi shoes otherwise and this is my 3rd pair. From now on, I will buy my child’s actual size.

Awesome shoes but... I love these shoes! My boys, 4 and 6, each have 2 pairs- 1 for play and 1 for school. They are so light and comfy and easy to get on and off. They look great, too. We get compliments on them all the time. One problem I did have with one shoe was that the velcro on the shoe itself is pulling away from the shoe and there is only a little bit of stitching still holding it on. This happened after my son wore them only twice.

First of all shoes are not sized correctly. Definitely order down. The shoes seem very well crafted and are easy to take on and off. However, even after returning the shoes for a smaller size, my son kept tripping over his feet. They are kind of "clunky" shoes.

I love the look of Tsukioshi's and these are super-easy for my four-year-old to put on by himself, however, after just 3 weeks of wearing them, the little rubber flap at the toe is already peeling off on one shoe. Hope they make it through a few more months!

Comfort and fit are excellent. However, they are not made well at all. My son is very gentle on shoes. This product fails on the tongue and Velcro closure. The material on the tongue wears through so it has holes in it (both pairs he has owned) and the stitching has come undone on both shoes where the stretch Velcro attaches to the strap. And, he has only had them for 6 months. You would expect a hole in the toe or something from use but not to just fall apart. Would not buy again this particular make.

I want to love this shoe, and I did (and so did my toddler), BUT after only three wearings, the rubber on the toe box is peeling away from the shoe on one of the shoes. I think we should at least see some wear on the tread before the shoe started to fall apart. Very disappointing.

I got these for my then 4 year old son last year. After wearing them for 10 months almost every day, they finally started falling apart. He refused to stop wearing them although he has other pairs of shoes. While shopping for a new pair, I showed him this website and he picked the same ones. He’s been asking every day since I ordered a new pair about when they should be coming in. Highly recommended!!!

We’ve used these shoes for both of our boys multiple times. Cute shoe but most importantly it is easy for them to put them on and take them off.

We love these shoes! My son just turned 5 and has been wearing these since he was 2...I just keep buying the same shoe in bigger sizes. My son has wide feet and they fit great. When he was younger, his feet were fat, too and these still fit. He loves them and he is so proud to be able to take them on and off himself. They hold up well; it's a shame he outgrows them. They only downside is the price, but it's really to be expected. He can't wear cheapie shoes at all.

My son has been wearing this same shoe for years. We just keep re-ordering it in a larger size. Super comfortable, and vegan which is a plus for us. Easy to get on and off and easy to clean.

I have purchased this brand of shoes for various grandchildren for the past ten years. It is more than likely the shoes will survive two children. Great support and very durable.

These shoes are made really well. I like the design of the tongue so it does not slide down in the shoe. They are very easy for my 3yr old to put on and off by himself.

My son loves these shoes. We keep buying the next size up because they are the only shoes he will wear. Super comfortable, goes with everything, and they're vegan which is very important to us.

Another phenomenal pair of shoes from Tsukihoshi. My son has been wearing these for 2 months now and they still look like they're in perfect condition. They're lightweight, and he can pull the tab himself to put his own shoes on at 3 yo. He loves the colors and has decided these are "firefighter shoes"

My 3 yr old son LOVES these shoes! They must be extremely comfortable because he always wants to wear them! He's able to put them on and take them off by himself and they're very durable for the active little boy!

Love this shoe and this brand! Very comfortable and lightweight. They are easy to get on and off, which is great for a kid who wants to do everything themselves! Machine washable, and has held up well to many washes.

These are the best shoes we've ever bought for our son. We've owned so many pair I've lost count. This must be at least number 10. These are stylish, comfortable, and easy to get on. He is now 7 and has been wearing this style for the last 4 years. He loves them and when I give him options he picks these every time in various colors.

This is the second pair I have bought for my grandson and he absolutely loves these shoes and picks them over any of his others, he is 2. I will buy this brand from now on!!!!

I love this brand. I have been buying Tsukihoshi for my grandson for the last three years and they are great shoes, light, durable and can be machine washed. My grandson loves them. Now he is almost four and he loves to put the shoes himself. Excellent shoes for a child with wide feet.

My son LOVES these shoes. We stumbled onto Tsukihoshi shoes after my son complained that just about about every other brand we tried was too heavy, pinched, too tight, etc. These shoes fit kids with wider toes and normal heels (so they don't slip). They're also feather light - they weigh 1/3 of other shoes (check the specs for your favorite brands). My son has been wearing this brand for 2+ years now, every single day, in tons of sports, and has never had a rub mark or a blister. They are absolutely worth the money. They also wear well and wash easily, although we rarely wash them because they don't smell like other shoes. This particular pair is probably my son's favorite because he really likes the wide velcro strap. Definitely will repurchase, again, and again, and again….
