The most awesome toddler shoes! My 2 year old son loves them. They fit perfectly, have great support, are great looking and are easy to slip on and off. Wonderful sneakers! Highly recommend.

This is the second pair of these shoes we have bought. My son loves the color red, so we were trying to find red shoes, and were happy to find these. His preschool teacher loves them because they are easy to get on and off, my son was able to put them on and take them off by himself months before his other pair. The first pair we bought held up until he grew out of them. They do run a little large, so order a half size down.

This is my son's second pair of these shoes and at least the seventh pair I have bought collectively for my two boys of this brand. Historically, this brand has held up exceptionally well for us. Several pairs have made it in good enough condition to be passed down. I have noticed some reviews saying the quality has gone down hill. I do not notice anything that would indicate that on first inspection, so we'll update if anything changes. My 2 year old loves these shoes. They have a great secure fit and they stay put on a fast runner who is all confidence and not so much coordination yet. The sizing was close to true, but maybe slightly on the smaller sized. My son was sized at a 9 to 9.5 in the local store. He tried on another style of this brand there which fit perfectly with a little room to grow in size 9. These in 9 have his toes already brushing up to the edge.

These shoes run true to size for ordering. My son loves them and wants to wear them all the time. I got them for the good arch support, and my son doesn't complain of his feet hurting in these shoes. They are very easy for him to get on and off. Great for independence!

I review this shoe every year since we started getting them when my son was three. There is a reason why I continue to buy the exact same style in every size he goes through -- these are the best! They are flexible and are accepted by the podiatric association, plus they are easy to get on and play hard. They do run about a half size large and are wider than normal, but not too wide. They are made to fit a little wider because it allows the child's foot to splay and grow properly. I really do believe these are best for kids' feet and highly recommend them to anyone!

Shoes were purchased for a child who wears orthotics. Ordered 1/2 size larger and they were a perfect fit for both the braces and the child's feet. Quality, comfort, and well constructed, I would recommend Tsukihoshi Kids shoes to all. You can't go wrong with this brand. A+ to Zappos too for the great service and free shipping.

These sneakers rock! They are lightweight, washable with removable insoles. the strap is easy to use for kids and attaches to the tongue which prevents that little freak out when it doesn't feel right! The price is high, but if you have another little one who can reuse these then it is well worth it.

These shoes are really cute and very easy for my 5 year old to take on and off. They look great on and they are very light weight. They do run about 1 half size large just like the description says. These shoes are so breathable, light, they are fantastic for summer.

These are the greatest shoes my son has ever owned. They are so easy to get on and off and they fit perfectly. My son has a wide foot and a high arch, so usually velcro shoes don’t fit him because the velcro doesn’t go all the way across. The velcro on these shoes is very long which makes the fit perfect. The shoes are also very light and even washable. In my opinion, this is the perfect little boy shoe!

Love, love, love these shoes and so does my son. He didn’t want to take them off when he first got them on. This is my second pair of Tsukihoshis and they are great. Super fit for wide little boy’s feet, great flexibility, support, and the styling is cute. My son outgrew his last pair, but didn’t wear them out despite wearing them every day for months.

I don’t normally like to spend this much on shoes for little kids, but I love these. I got them for my 3-year-old son after he complained about some of his other shoes, and I liked them so much I just ordered a pair for his 6-year-old brother. They’re super light and flexible and wide enough that nothing rubs or constrains. My 3-year-old has been wearing them for a few months now, and I just noticed I need to repair part of the velcro closure that’s come loose. But once I fix that, he should get another couple months out of them. I wish I could get them to last just a wee bit longer, but my boys wear shoes hard. It’s a problem no matter what we buy. And at least with these, they can go be boys without their shoes holding them back.

My 4 year old son loves these shoes. They are easy for him to put on himself, very comfortable, washable, and have worn very well. In general, I\'ve found that Tsukihoshi shoes are outstanding for fit and comfort, but only average for durability. These shoes are definite exceptions to that rule. I think these are the first pair of play shoes that still looked nice enough to pass along after my son outgrew them. Well worth the price.

These are the only tennis shoes I buy for my two little girls. The sole is flexible, they weigh next to nothing, the tongue is sewed on one side so it does not move around when you try to put it on (great for kids just learning to put on shoes), they are adjustable enough for my girls who have high insteps, they hold up very well. My kids love them!

We just love these shoes. My son is about to turn 4 and has had several pair. They will not wear out. My son is very hard on shoes. He will get them caked in mud. They wash up like they are brand new. I have a new baby and I know I will she will be wearing these very soon.

My son loves these shoes! We got his first pair at a local store, mostly because they were almost all they had in his size, and I liked the machine washability. They are super easy for him to take off and put on by himself, and he says, "They have room for my toes", which is now a requirement for all footwear. His feet grow rather slowly, but he got excellent wear out of them before we had to buy another pair. In all honesty, we should have started shopping sooner, as his toes were being squished by the time I replaced his first pair. If I had known how easy zappos was, I’d have gotten them sooner! Had a question about sizing they answered over the phone, ordered online and the shoes arrived the next day! Talk about service! I also LOVE the colors – red/white/blue work so well for my son’s wardrobe. I hope they never stop making/carrying these shoes! If I could guarantee he’d wear them until he was 12, I’d be tempted to buy a pair in each size they offer...

Tsukihoshi shoes are the ONLY shoes I will buy for my son. We have bought numerous other shoes, Keens, Merrells, Tevas, and Sacouny's. He won't keep any of them on his feet for more than 4 seconds. These are our 4th pair of Tsukihoshis and I've learned my lesson. We won't waste time and money on any other shoes. Not only does my son love these shoes but I love them b/c they wear so well. They don't fade or rip even when they are washed often. Oh yeah you can wash 'em! Take out the soles and throw them in the washer and set out to dry. They dry really fast too even in our humid climate. Pricey but worth every single penny.

I have 6 year twin boys who both have Autism. They have major sensory needs to get input through their feet (i.e. stepping on legos, matchbox cars etc). We have bought these shoes for the boys since they were 3 yrs old because they allow them to get some sensory input and they are easy enough for them to get on for independence. We are about to buy our 8th pair of them! I just wish they were a little narrower.

First of all I have to say Zappos is the best! They introduced me to this wonderful shoe. It was my son’s real first shoe and the first time he put it on he was even amazed! It is durable, washable, and looks great in red for boys. I had previously bought him Campers, Nike, and a few other brands that were too narrow and he was never able to wear. These shoes fit like a glove on his little Fred Flinstone feet. Would definitely recommend to any parent who wants a good looking, long lasting, affordable shoe.

Once your kids have tried Tsukihoshi shoes - it's hard to go back to anything else. They have incredibly high quality - you can WASH them in the laundry! Last until your kid grows out of them, and look great. Another plus is that they are easy to put on and take-off for the little ones. Worth every penny. As with all shoes for active ones (especially kids or others who run a lot) I always go one half-size higher. It gives them room to stretch and you won't have to replace them as soon. My son sometimes finds shoes too narrow. However, this sneaker fit him well (don't know that it's wider width or just better made).

We bought these for my 18-month old son. We love them, and he seems to love them too. We love them b/c they're super easy to get on and off -- the one, wide velcro band across the top of the shoe is makes it quick to do and really holds the shoe on well. He's only had them about one month but they appear to be holding up well to his abuse on the playground, etc. I think he likes them b/c they're super lightweight and the sole is flexible and forgiving while still providing some support. Great shoe for a busy toddler.
