On a recent business trip to Boston I got into a conversation with Scott, the manager of Allen Edmonds in Natick. He invited me to take a look at the shoes and I realized I had always wanted a pair of quality shoes to last more than a decade, as distinct from a season or two. All my previous shoes were of inferior quality, and were in a sorry state after a year or two. I was told about shoe care, and bought the cedar trees, polish, edge dressing and shoe horns to keep the shoes in top condition. I looked at many types and settled on the Delray's in black and chili. The split toe is elegant yet a little edgy. The black is a nicely formal shoe for business wear, and the chilli colored shoes go great with my grey and navy suits, or even a pair of jeans. A pair of Swims overshoes fit over them perfectly in case of wet or snowy weather, if you are worried about excess water or salt. They fit beautifully, and I can feel my feet immediately relax I put them on. I did have some trouble with uncomfortable itchy feet before, but that has vanished with rotating the shoes and use of the trees. These will be my shoe of choice from now on.

If there is a progression in shoe quality, Allen Edmonds rests comfortably at the top. The classic look of the Del Ray combined with atypical levels of comfort in dress shoes and the beautiful look and feel of the materials used makes these prized shoes in my collection. I have purchased the black and the chili and could not be happier with the purchases. After several years and lot of miles on the black shoes, I had to have them resoled and the results exceeded my expectations. Thank you, Allen Edmonds, for making such a quality product.

After hearing about AE shoes for a long time, and wearing out lesser-quality shoes almost as fast as I could buy them, I decided to spend a little extra money for top-quality shoes. These things are a dream. I've had them for 6 months now and I won't buy another brand of dress shoes as long as I live. They are comfortable, beautiful and well-built. Shoes are the most important part of your wardrobe. Spend just a little bit more for the best and you will be well-pleased.

I have been wearing this style for almost 15 years. With an 8.5 EEE foot and high arches, i am not an easy fit. But the way these are constructed, they fit great out of the box. I am wearing a pair I purchased 5 years ago and have had recrafted once. They look great and still are just as comfortable. I order a pair about every 18 months and alternate wearing them during the weak. My next pair will be the same model!

I bought a pair 6 months ago and have no regrets. They fit great and can be worn daily (very comfortable) or in formal settings as well so definitely a good pair to have. The leather is still in excellent condition and have not polished them since i bought them (have only quickly wiped them). Definitely recommend.

I've owned 2 pair of delrays for over 4 years now. The comfort & quality are simply the best. I can wear one pair for a year before I send them back to be remade by Allen Edmonds. The last time I sent a pair in to be refinished, Allen Edmonds cust. svc. called to let me know they have been damaged in repair & they were shipping me a brand new pair. The service is second to none. I'm very hard on shoes by the way. Quit by shoes at your basic department store & make the investment. Real person here from Fort Worth Texas.

I have several pairs of Allen Edmonds shoes, as they are generally the best fitting, and most comfortable shoes for me to wear not just for professional meetings, but also walking frequently among my employees. I have a pair of the Delray shoes in Brown Calf; they and the matching belt are great pairs with khaki, brown, grey, and navy slacks. They even look great for a more casual grey or navy suit without a tie look. These shoes have been in my closet since 2010, and they get worn about once or twice a week (I even have them on now). They are still as good looking as the day I got them, and I know that when they need some TLC, I can send them in for refurbishing. A great shoe, a great product, and great service.

For a person who spends the bulk of his day on his feet...this is the shoe for you. I inherited some crazy feet and this is the only shoe that have kept my "dogs" happy. Try it...you will love it.

I own 6 pairs of Allen Edmonds dress shoes. I love the the fact that these shoes can be recrafted back to new condition. The quality workmanship in all my Allen Edmonds shoes make them my first choice for dress shoes. Beautiful shoes.

Great shoes. Excellent fit. My in store experience to find the right style and fit was guided with excellence by store manager, Brian Pearson. Different feet, different lasts and fits. You just have to find the right one for you.

I bought two pairs of the Delray model shoe -- black and brown. These are great shoes and once broken in they are very comfortable. I have wide feet 10 1/2 EEE and these shoes fit quite well in this size, but since they loosen up a bit once broken in -- I will likely go wit with EE int the future. These are my third pair of Allen Edmonds shoes and I am extremely happy with the overall experience and service from the folks in their Washington, DC store. I recommend these shoes. I would say that I would buy another pair, but these look like they will last me quite some time (with the occasional resoling).

I only buy AE shoes and have been for 12-years. They are worth the money day after day after day. I own the black and brown colors of the Delray because it's a perfect shoe. Prefect for a suit, sport coat and slacks, and even a nice pair of casual pants. I've recrafted my black pair twice, a nice investment in my opinion. And I love that they are American made

While some other of my AE shoes are more attractive, this particular pair is the most comfortable. Also, the toe of the shoes kept their shape for a long time and the shoes are in recrafting as I write this. The soles began to come loose at the toe, and I'm not sure why. My other shoes didn't do that, but I've had them a few years now and wore them at least twice each week. The soles were well worn so it was time to get the shoes recrafted. Every AE shoe I get is alwasy 9.5 D, and I'm confident that each one will fit well (not be a different size).

Needed another pair of black lace-up, so I got the Delray (I have the brown Delray also). They fit great and are just a well crafted shoe. Yes, I am a loyal customer (since 1994 and I have over 20 pairs of AE shoes). There is nothing better then a pair of well crafted shoes and there is no better shoe than Allen Edmonds

I have long, narrow feet and I have to wear orthotics soles in them. I've look for years to find a pair of shoes that would fit my needs. I've found them in a pair of Delray in chili colour. I liked them so much that the next week I bought another pair in black. Add to their proper fit that they are very stylish, girls comment on them! Thank you AE for your care and quality. As a travelling salesman, I was wearing through expensive dress shoes in less than a year. A co-worker finally sat me down and told me about the quality, craftsmanship, and durability of Allen Edmonds. I bought the Delray in Chili and went back the next day to buy it in Black because of the astounding comfort that immediately alleviated the back and foot pain that I thought I would live with forever. 18 months and hundreds of sales calls later, my Delrays still look brand new and grow more comfortable every day.

Recently discovered Allen Edmonds, and I am thrilled to be able to find beautiful shoes that will accommodate my 14EEE's. The Delray fits very well out of the box, and I have no doubt that it will fit even better with time. Very happy with the purchase.

After having these shoes for 4 weeks, I decided to wear them to church today and start what is usually a painful beak in process. To my surprise, the new pair Allen Edmond Delray shoes were comfortable all afternoon. No cramped toes, no chaffed heals, no sore anything, no pain! Thank you for crafting a stylish and comfortable shoe. I plan to wear these to work on Monday. I love my Fifth Avenues and Park Avenues, but I think the Delray may become my favorite model.

I've been wearing Allen-Edmonds shoes for thirty plus years. I have to have an all-leather, lace-up shoe and wear orthotics for support. Allen-Edmonds is the only manufacturer left who makes quality shoes in my size, 10A or AA (depending on the last). The leather takes a spit shine extremely well; a quality I needed when I was active duty Air Force. In addition to the Delray, I have two pair of cap toes. The shoes are comfortable and durable. The cobblers comment on the quality of the shoe when I take them in for repair. The other company that makes footwear that fits me and are comfortable is Lucchese out of El Paso, and I use four pair of their boots. The Delray was a departure from norms for me, and I've had numerous compliments on the look and color(chili). I was afraid that the color would complement only a small portion of my wardrobe. It enhances and extends the wardrobe instead.

The shoes look great in business casual attire. They are noticed by people and they feel great all day long. I have several pairs of A-E shoes and these are 1 of my favorites.

Picked up two pairs of the Delray about a month ago. I was concerned about spending this much on shoes, but the investment has been well worth it. The shoes look great for work or for a casual night out with jeans. I highly recommend the shoes and will continue to purchase my shoes from AE, regardless of price. The quality of the shoes has made it absolutely worth it.

These shoes are nice. I usually wear with dress slacks. Great for any occasion. Nicely fitting shoes that will last a lifetime. Style and comfort are superb.

While the Park Ave might be the 'go-to' business shoe for many, the Delray is right up there in the rotation. Comfortable fit, solid classic design that can be worn regularly.

I like to walk during lunch break in South Beach San, Francisco. It's about 2 miles from the Bay Bridge, behind AT&T park along Mission Creek and the shoes make it a pleasant constitutional excursion. It's more enjoyable with the proper support of these shoes and they have a stylish Euro look to them. The materials are top notch and they look great.
