This is my second pair of the DELRAY Dress Black Shoe . Having a narrow foot with flat arch: all my Allen Edmonds' shoes "save the day". Being 78 years young, I appreciate the special sale price this order.... Grateful for the American Superlative Craftsmanship!

It's hard to find a good y-moc nowadays. I like the everyday wearability of these shoes. The construction is solid, the leather non-corrected grain and the welt solid. The shoes are comfortable, though the last is a bit on the narrow side. I would have expected a bit more width from EEE. If you need a lot of width, try these on in the store.

The design of this shoe is classic with a modern, sleek toe box. It can be worn either casually or with a suit making it one of the most versatile shoes in my closet. The leather is high quality and the finishing (burnishing) is above par. The fit is excellent and it's a very comfortable shoe. I bought the Dark Burnished Chili as this color matches most of the clothes in my closet. Additionally, if you're considering buying shoe, you need to see it in person as the pictures don't do it justice.

The high quality that is Allen Edmonds speaks for itself. Amazing fit, style, comfort, value and they are repairable. Get yourself a pair or two, you won't be sorry - they last a long time.

Great shoe. Love the look and get many complements. Had a pair in chili and when I needed to upgrade my black go to shoes, I got another pair of Delray's. People always say something about how nice my shoes are. Easy break in period and top flight quality as you'd expect from A-E.

I bought my present pair because I had purchased Allen Edmonds in the past. I have had one pair for almost 20 years and have had them re-soled a number of times. Allen Edmonds shoes were great then, and they still have the same great quality. They are a true bargain for the price. The black Del Rays I purchased are stylish, well made and incredibly comfortable. I liked them so much that I bought a brown pair.

As stated above I have several pairs and wear AE all the time. I am in a suit almost 5 days a week, but the Delary works with a sports jacket as well.

I own 8 pairs of Allen Edmonds shoes and the Delrays are my favorite. They are a great combination of comfort and style. They are downright smooth looking, and I feel like a big freaking deal when I wear them. I am a very conservative guy, and I feel like the Delrays allow me to be conservative, but add some excitement by pushing the envelope a little bit with their style. They fit like a glove. I do have narrow feet (C) and my Delrays are a D and fit well, so keep that in mind I have had the Delrays for 10 years and they have been recrafted along the way, and they still look very good. Allen Edmonds are the best shoes I have ever worn.

On the aesthetic side, it has a very nice elongated and graceful look. The split-toe and the notch at the heel give a first-impression of craftsmanship. On the pragmatic side, the blucher construction provides ample comfort for someone with a high instep because the side leather pieces can be adjusted with the laces. The welt construction gives the shoe more body. If you have a narrow foot the 108 last is for you.

I had always wanted a pair of Delrays. I am a teacher and am on my feet all day. So, I needed something that looked great and was comfortable. Well, this is it. I could not be happier. I would recommend these shoes without question. If you are ever in Boston, go to the State Street store location and ask for James. He is excellent and will be a great help in the fitting process.

Quality, Craftsmanship and Comfort! A+ A little on the expensive side, but will last for years!

I now have had three of these. What I like is the consistency of fit (the 108 last) and the longer fore-part of the shoe. It looks slim without looking pointy. Every time I wear these, I get compliments. The chili is really beautifully done and the black, well, black is just a bit plain. Highly recommended.

I bought a pair of Chili Delrays more than three years ago as my first pair of Allen Edmonds. I have since bought many more Allen Edmonds shoes. However to this day, the Chili Delrays are still my favourites. They have held up remarkably well, even with regular use. And after the first few weeks of break-in, the shoes have been very comfortable. The Chili colour is great as well. If anything, it may actually improve with age. It's also incredibly versatile: it works equally well with trousers and a button-up shirt as with jeans and a polo. Aside from a dark suit, they work with almost anything. If I worked in a business-casual office and needed a pair of professional-looking, high quality shoes that will last me for years, a pair of Delrays in Chili would be an excellent place to start.

The shoe is comfortable, looks great and can be worn for a number of different occasions. Extremely pleased with the quality and versatility.

I purchased these Delrays because I wanted a very sophisticated, quality looking shoe that would last. These shoes have definitely fit the bill and beyond. They're comfortable (takes a little while to break in) and solid. I'm very pleased with this purchase!

This was my second pair of AEs. They're over 10 years old, have been Recrafted once and are still a staple in my shoe rotation. I have the chili color and they are extremely versatile - smart casual all the way up to suits. As such, they are a perfect travel shoe. If I could only have 2 pairs of AEs these would be one (along with the Park Ave in black). The chili color really lightened over the years and I've used various tints of shoe cream/wax (neutral, walnut, brown, even oxblood) to create a nice patina effect.

I purchased my pair of Delray shoes seven years ago and wear them two or three times a week. I still haven't had to get the soles replaced and the uppers still look clean. This shoe looks good with any suit.

I personally find the American made Allen Edmonds shoes the most comfortable shoes that I have ever worn. I now have six pair. The DelRay in black is a replacement pair for another pair of Allen Edmonds shoes that looked very similar to these but is no longer made -- I wore out the old pair. Too much scaring on the leather from wear to have rebuilt. I am just breaking in my new pair and already they feel so good. Thank you Allen Edmonds !

I have this shoe in black, chili, and brown, great shoe. Have you considered making the shoe in walnut?

an excellent business shoe, more elegant as the Walton but in a similar quality and the same handcraft standard.
