Born's Brin review - Comfortable shoe, wish I could get them in a narrow as they seem a bit wide. I wore them about 10 hours the first day at work and they felt great.

Heel was not narrow enough - kept slipping as I walked.

Loved the style but the width of the heel was wide and my feet slipped out when walking. The toe box fit fine indicating a narrow width would not have solved the problem. I would have tried going down a half size, but that size was not available. Unfortunately, I had to return them.

Beware, the rust color looks almost coral or pale red. The sizing was strange on the pair I got. The left foot was way too tight, but the right foot fit. I have not had that issue before (in fact my left foot is slightly smaller), so I kept checking the size to be sure it wasn't a mistake. Also strange, I got a 8.5 which it said was a Euro size 40. That's not the case. .. usually it is a 39.

So disappointed. The Brin in green and it is a pretty color. It’s a lighter green so would use it in the spring and summer months. The width is true to size, but the show felt half size smaller. Also, the front of the shoe cuts into the top of my foot. If they could extend the top of the shoe an inch to come up higher on the top of the foot, I think they would be perfect…. For me at least.

These looked large on my foot, but not in the sense that they were the wrong size. Almost like they ran a little wide.

Very orange

Great soft tan color, versatile classic style - but sadly no arch support to speak of, which is a deal breaker for my 60-year-old, multiple-issue feet. Unfortunately I will be returning them and looking for something else.

these are cute shoes and good color except they slip off my feet, and the inner edges near the bow rub my feet. returning.

TOO BIG - These shoes are way too big for their size & slip off my heel when I walk. I need to wear thick athletic socks to make them fit, which ruins the look.

Slips off - While I really like the look and the comfort, these shoes slip off my heel when I walk. I do have a narrow heal but the strap sits so far down on the instep that it doesn't keep the shoe on.

This shoe is not for someone with a narrow heel, as it will slip. It is in style right now, but that may not be a good thing. Weird heel.

Where to start with this shoe? I love it. I love the look of it. I'm trying to love the feel of it. The first time I wore these, I went sock less to work in them. Eight hours and ten bleeding, oozing blisters later, I was in so much pain that I made my boyfriend carry me all the way home. (What a sweetie!) After my feet healed, I tried a few things with them--blister block sticks, little sockletts--it seems to be working. I ordered a 9--I'm between an 8.5 and 9 normally---the length is perfect, but the shoes are VERY wide. I think I'll have to save these for fall, when I can wear them with thick tights--socks aren't so great in 30 C weather. And I really need to wear socks or tights with them to make them fit properly. I love the look of them, but I'm disappointed in the comfort.

Slipping heels - The color Bordo is the exact collor I was wanting. The heel height is just right; however I find that the shoes slip up and down at the heels. I ordered the same size I always wear, 7-1/2M. It seems that the shoes I have ordered recently do this slipping up and down at the heels. Since Zappos has such a good return policy, I am going to keep them until I receive the Foot Petals insole that I hope will keep my feet from moving forward and thus will stop the slipping.

Maybe it was just the color - The only color left in my size was the Bordo, which was actually mauve. The heel is very cute, but on my very wide foot the overall look of this shoe was kind of dumpy. I think I could have broken them in quickly but I didn't love them enough to keep them.

Comfortable shoe but not for me - This shoe was very comfortable for a dressier shoe but I didn't care for the Bordo color when I saw it in person. I also didn't care for the heel. I exchanged them for the Born Posy.

Color lighter than pictured. I've found the colors with all this shoe are not correct. I thought this would be natural leather, it is not. Shinny and lighter than expected. Tight across instep. Cut too high for my feet.

Really disappointed since the shoes are comfortable and look great, but the insole is glued very poorly and makes a sticky glue releasing sound as you walk. I could attempt to fix this myself, but after paying $100, they are going back.

Not enough support and slipped in heel.

This is not a shoe for those with high arch/instep. Gaps when flexed. Spaces on the sides at arch. Returning.

I had high hopes for this ballerina due to good reviews. Unfortunately, it felt terrible to me and the color (olive was very dull). I am used to a high quality, European made shoe, but very much wanted to add a ballerina in olive green to my shoe collection. I took a chance on Born shoes, but will still to my Euro brands. This falls short on all my expectations for shoes.

The shoes were too large. Will be sending them back for a refund.

These are beautiful ballet flats! I was so disappointed when trying them on to find they were extremely small. I bought my usual shoe size and they felt 1.5 - 2 sizes too small.
