Born to wear Born - I've had these shoes for over a year and I'm a little delinquent on a review. However, I feel it wouldn't be fair to the general populous out there if I didn't share how much I absolutely LOVE these shoes. Born has provided my feet all day comfort again and again. These shoes are no exception. I worried about the slight heel but no need. Hardly noticeable. These shoes are all about comfort. I can walk in them all day and not have aching feet--a miracle!! They've held up nicely so far and breathe easily. A definite recommend!

Love them so much I bought a second pair! These are wonderful little shoes, especially for feet like mine (squarish w/ high instep). They're even comfy w/o stockings, just added a gel heel guard.

Almost perfect - These are beautiful and very soft, padded soles. I didn't give them a "5" in comfort because the back part is simply too wide (and I have a wide foot) my foot slips out of them sometimes when I walk. But, other than that, I LOVE the way they look and find them really comfortable to wear. Perhaps with some padding around the back part they will fit better?

Finally, a comfortable, contemporary shoe - It's one of the few shoes that a 6.5EE foot can wear to work without looking frumpy. It takes my orthotic just fine and very comfortable.

Born Brin - in black - I bought a pair of these shoes in black and I highly recommend them. Borns are known for their great arch support. That is the main reason I buy their shoes. I have very high arches and basically no shoe is comfortable except these. These are comfortable for work all day and walking for long periods of time. The shoes feel true to width, but look wider than they really are. The sides sort of bow out and I wish they curved inward against my feet. This only affects their appearance, not the comfort.

Exactly what I was looking for! I recently decided that I was going to enter the world of quality footwear. No more cheap shoes for this girl! I have had one too many blisters for that. Dansko was my first pricey shoe, and well worth it, the Frans are adorable. I heard great things about Born so I searched for just the right pair for me. The Brins are it! I am not a high heel girl, so this shoe gives just the look of a heel, but all the comfort and stability of a flat. I ordered a half size smaller than I normally wear (after reading countless others that said they did the same) and they are a perfect fit. I would recommend these shoes to the girl who wants class and style with out sacrificing comfort! (I got the espresso color, it is more like cocoa).

Born Brin - Born usually has the wrong last for me. However, the Brin is perfect: I love the look which is just dressy enough for a comfortable shoe. I bought them first in the mossy color, then loved them so much I got the Bordo. Zappos service is superb!

So Comfy! These shoes are made for walking, it feels like your walking on air and I need that since I stand a lot for work.

Extremely comfortable - The padding inside of this shoe is wonderful. The toe box is roomy. The style is great with skirts or pants. The color looks gray online, but in reality is more of an olive green. The name does not really hint at the color. I only wish it really was gray - then it would be perfect.

New Favorite! I wore these to work three times in one week. I had no idea what the color was I ordered - I thought it was gray or brown, but it was an odd shade of green. Nonetheless, I found clothes to go with the shoe. This shoe is very comfortable, and wonderful for my flat feet.

So comfortable, but not my style - This shoe is so comfortable; it feels like wearing a sneaker. My only complaint was that the top of the heel cap dug into my Achilles tendon area a bit, but I always have that problem. I think it would have softened up with wear. I returned them because the round toe and vintage styling made them seem a tiny bit frumpy to me. It is a more substantial shoe that it appears -- more like a loafer than I was imagining. I guess it's a "comfort" cute shoe, but I was hoping for the best of both worlds.

Born Brin - I love this shoe! However, I am sending mine in the espresso color back tomorrow - sadly. The left shoe fits perfectly; the right does not because the little strap across the top goes directly across my bunion and causes enough pressure to be uncomfortable. Everything else is perfect - it is so cute with skirts and pants - and I love the smart little heel. I have Born boots and mules that fit fine. It is just this particular style which is cut wrong for my one foot. Too bad! Zappos is wonderful, though! Got these in 2 days!

I'm a first time buyer of Born, and I bought two different styles because of the name and great reviews and the low heel height. Love them both and have had nothing but compliments. I tell everyone about Born and Zappos. The first pair I received was the wrong color, which was my fault, but no problem, in fact the man on the phone sent my new color out before my return was even back (it was in transit), you can't get any better than that.

Born Brin - Just received my Born Brin shoes in the Bordo color and am so happy! The color is a dusty Bordeaux, if that makes any sense, and I really like them. For me, they fit true to size and are cushioned with a nice big toe box. A very flexible shoe, light and really nice looking.

Five star shoe! I have difficulty finding shoes that fit comfortably and slipping into the Born Brin was like slipping into a glove. The fit was perfect. The only drawback was the shoe did stretch a bit but not a half size. Instead of wearing thin stockings, a light weight sock would work fine. I have had many compliments on the appearance. I would not hesitate to buy this brand again.

Love these shoes! The shoes are very comfortable and look great! Zappos service is incredible too!

All I can say is wow! These shoes fit, so comfortable and are cute, and that is usually hard for me to say with my wide foot!

Amazing! I absolutely love these shoes! They're comfortable all day long, and the leather is a great quality. I ordered my regular size and they fit well, and I have no problems with slipping. This is a very classy shoe - I would definitely recommend it!!

Very nice shoe - I really love this shoe. It is very attractive and quite comfortable. I didn't like the dark red color that was available in my size, so I polished it brown and it is beautiful. I am very happy with this shoe and recommend it on all counts.

Born Brin-wonderful! I love these shoes. As others have mentioned, there is plenty of toe room. Regarding size, I usually wear a size 9 in most shoes, but have found I wear an 8.5 in Born. I like the fact that the top of the shoes comes higher on my foot--doesn't hit where my foot/toes bend like some other "lower cut" shoes. I wear these with skirts and pants. I hope a new shipment comes in because I would buy them in other colors.

Comfortable without any break-in - Very comfortable from the very first. The size was my usual size. No rubbing anywhere. The heel is a little loose and I might have to get an insert but I have a med foot and a narrow heel.

Cute shoes - I first tried this shoe on in a store. The best fit for me was half a size smaller than my usual size. The only issue I had with comfort was that the heel feels like it comes up higher than many shoes, and this rubbed a little - could be just my foot. Overall I think it is a good quality shoe and I have bought and would buy Born shoes again.

Born Brin - Wonderful, comfy shoes that really look good, too! The burgundy color is a little lighter than I expected, but really nice...The heels are unusual but sturdy and comfortable.

Very cute and comfy right from the box--no break-in time at all. Didn’t slip on my skinny ankle, either, and kitten heel is quite stable. Love 'em!
