These boots are gorgeous. I got these in a size 8, but alas, with 13.25 inch calves, they gap too much in the back for me to wear with skirts at the office. They felt very comfortable when I tried them on. I don't wear skinny jeans enough to justify keeping them at this price, though. I would recommend these for someone with average calves in a heartbeat.

Everything in one boot! I've been looking for a boot that is warm, waterproof, and beautiful for a while and this boot is all those things. I get so many compliments every time I wear them and they look so expensive. Best money ever spent.

I have been looking for a comfortable boot for the past two years and I finally found it with La Canadienne Passion. My problem has been that boots run too narrow for me and I have a decent bunion on my right foot. I first ordered my size in a regular width which didn't work. The boots were uncomfortable. I then ordered the same boot in a wide width and perfection! I can wear these boots all day and my feet feel great! I also love the zipper on the side and that the soles are ridged for better traction when it's wet out.

I have had these boots about a month. I almost returned them because they were quite tight around my calves (I have got muscular runner's legs), but they stretched out just enough to fit perfectly. The little elastic panel on the top helped. They held up well when I was out in the snow, too. They are warm and comfortable to walk in. I very rarely wear heels, but these do not feel like there is a heel at all (in a good way). As I said, it has only been a month, so I cannot comment on their durability.

These are the greatest boots I have ever owned. Not only do I find them extremely comfortable, I get many compliments on them. They are soft & warm inside and water resistant on the outside. Well worth the money ~ they last for years.

Super comfortable and true to size - great winter boot!

This is my fourth pair of La Canadienne boots. Can't really say anything but perfect. True to size, very comfortable. Water proof, warm. Would recommend. Pricey but worth every penny.

Beautiful chocolate suede that does not scuff or watermark. Easy on-off with side zipper. The fit is very sleek and flattering as there is not a lot of extra width to this boot around the calf area. Love this boot!

Very nice, comfortable boot. Insulated for warmth and waterproof. Only returning it because it's a little more "plain" than I am looking for.

I thought these boots were rather expensive but based on the other reviews decided to spend the money. I don't regret it! They are very comfortable, warm and yet stylish. They look great with skirts as well as with my skinny jeans. I would definitely recommend the investment.

These are the perfect low heeled, high quality, wear everywhere boot. Incredibly comfortable right out of the box with classic styling plus cushy footbed plus waterproof for a fabulous price. I have several pairs of La Canadienne. The Paulie is my all time favorite with this boot right behind. This boot is slightly shorter in the shaft which makes it a nice change from my 16" boots, makes my legs look incredibly long and is cut slender through the calf with enough room for skinny jeans. And did I mention you can walk all day and a good portion of the night? For several days? Even does well on cobblestones. It's the go to, grab without thinking work horse of the boot collection. You won't be disappointed.

These are adorable looking and extremely comfortable. I have a nerve issue on the bottom of my right foot and so far these are not posing a problem. The fit is true to size and the lining is first quality. More expensive than I historically pay for rain boots, but they appear to be very well made and if they last a couple of years, that'll be fine. I haven't tried them in the rain so I can't speak to their waterproof performance yet.

The black suede version is lovely. It looks sleek and dressy. The heel is high enough to make the boot a bit dressy but low enough to be relatively comfortable. Sometimes I need a wide but in this boot, the regular width fit fine. I was able to add a Dr. Scholls insert for added heel cushioning. My calves are kind of right on the border between average and big and these boots fit them nicely - snug and secure but not pinching or tight. These are great, well worth the price. I get compliments on them. One note...if you are looking to invest in an everyday, all day boot, these might be too high of a heel. It depends on your tolerance for heels. I can wear these to the office all day but I wouldn't choose to walk around all day in them. I have lower heeled boots for that (same brand but the 'Serafina' boot).

This is my second pair of Passion boots from La Canadienne. They are classic boots. The suede is more dressed down and funky, while the leather can look either professional or casual. They are warm, waterproof, comfortable, and great looking. I wear them mostly with skirts. I have tried them over pants, but my calves are not super skinny, so they did not work for me. I live in a very cold climate, and these boots are worth every penny!

These are really great. I'm mid-30s, have bunions and am often disappointed with shoes. I am so tired of my feet hurting and suffering no matter if the shoe is cute or not! After a recent visit to The Walking Store (fantastic store manager), I bought a pair of orthotic insoles and knew to buy shoes at least a full size bigger to accommodate the insoles. That's exactly what I did with these (and continue to remind myself I don't have "big feet" just because I'm ordering such a large size! Even with the insoles, there is enough room in the foot with either hose or a thin sock and doesn't put pressure on the bunions. Very comfortable and I can wear all day. The biggest proof is that I am ok wearing them 2 days in a row...and they're not sneakers :) I wore them over skinny jeans today and hubby says I looked hot! Even though these are plain Jane, they do the trick in a superb, quality way. Definitely a fan.

The number of great reviews speaks for itself, but I will add that I've had several pairs of La Canadienne boots over the years, and they've all been excellent. I live in NYC, and this city is hard on shoes (especially since I don't have a car). While La Canadiennes don't last forever, they do a darn good job of hanging in there. This boot is comfortable and practical, and I'll wear it with skirts and pants (I'm wearing them to work with a skirt today). It's not exactly snazzy, but it looks fairly sleek and classic. The black leather is excellent quality but does have that slightly "different" look that the waterproofing gives it which I don't mind at all.

Wearing them now! I put in heel/arch insert which makes them very comfortable. Snug at the top but perfect with tights and a dress. Finally, wide boots without the wide calf!

Oops! I meant that it fits great around the calf, not thigh. It is a classic style boot, and will always be "in". I love them.

I bought these boots because of the waterproof leather and quality workmanship. I normally wear a size 6.5 so I ordered that size and a size 7. The 6.5 fit perfectly. They are very comfortable, with lots of toe room which I was looking for. They fit very nicely around my ankle and thigh. I am 5'1 and my legs are slim, but not skinny. I have had boots that fit big around the thigh, but these are perfect and very smart looking. The leather is nice and soft and is a dream to wear. I think I can walk miles in this with no problem. Love them!

This boot runs very true to size and is very comfortable. It's much more expensive than I would ordinarily spend, but it is gorgeous!

These boots were comfortable for walking and work the first time I ever war them. They are indeed waterproof (I can wear them in the rain), and they are very warm. The look is very versatile, too, depending on the outfit -- great wear for business or casual.

I've had my eye on La Canadienne boots forever. Finally I broke down and bought them and I'm kicking myself for not doing it sooner. These are so comfortable, and exactly what I was looking for in a low-heeled boot for work. Love them! My only complaint would be that the calf felt a little narrow -- but I do have "Pilates" calves so I do expect that in regular calf boots.

I've never paid this much for footwear before, but I ordered these out of desperation to fit my narrow calf. Although they aren't snug, they fit much better than the dozen or so others I've tried, and they don't slip at the heel. Only negative is they could have more arch support. Style is simple, but classic. Very nice.

The size was generous enough for socks, the fit was generally good. The ankle was stiff. This does not work for my particular foot and walking issues.

Very impressed! Nice quality leather, thick but not stiff. Very comfortable the first time worn! Versatile to dress up or down. Love them!
