I love this jacket! I wore it all through Europe last spring and it was great for the rain and wind we experienced! It is warm but not too heavy. I would wear it more in the spring and fall as it wouldn't be warm enough for the subzero MN winters! I definitely recommend this product!

I love North Face! I am 5'4" at 135 and the med fits me perfect. It's a jacket but very warm. I could fit a light weight sweater under if I had to. Thing I like the best is the breast pocket. I don't really carry a purse so my cell, money, credit card and license fit in with no bulk! Only buy from Zappo, great service and prices.

Ordered a Medium in this which fit, but allowed no room for sweaters. The large has a bit more room for bulky layers.

Overall, this is a solid, classic, warm jacket. I like that it's thin enough that you can wear it in and out of the car easily (it's not huge and bulky like so many others), and its design doesn't sacrifice warmth. I agree with other reviewers, though, that if you are between sizes or have a larger chest, order one size up. The fit is tight enough that if you order your size (or a size down) there won't be room for a sweater or anything under it. I was concerned that the jacket would be short on me in the arms and waist (I'm 5'9-10") but it wasn't at all. It seems like a great length for a lot of body types and heights. I definitely recommend this jacket -- well-made, warm, stylish, and versatile.

You'll definitely want to size up on this jacket. I'm usually a Medium, but ordered a size Large so I could wear a sweater underneath. I'm so happy I did this so I could wear it late into Minnesota Falls/ early Springs. You will not be disappointed with this jacket.

I received this jacket as a gift and I could not be happier! I had originally wanted it as a replacement for a much lighter weight North Face jacket from years ago, and was surprised to find that this jacket was substantially heavier than I expected. I was not disappointed; on the contrary, this jacket is exactly what I needed. It is warm, flexible, and durable, without being too heavy (perfect for mild winters). The sleeve length and torso length is also perfect, something I tend to worry about (I am 5'7" and this hits me where it does the model). However, if you are looking for a "relaxed" or loose fitting jacket, I would size up or look elsewhere; this jacket has a slim fit. I find the fit to be flattering and comfortable (I am a medium in shirts and I got a medium in this and was very happy). Overall, this jacket is beautifully made and I know I'm going to get a ton of wear out of it!

This is THE best jacket! I've had mine for 7 years and the only reason I'm back to buy a new one is that mine was a cream color and it is SO dingy and nasty looking now even though I've washed it multiple time. Stains definitely do NOT come out of this thing and the cuffs, collar, and area around the zipper look really bad so I'm buying a black this time and I expect that it will last me AT LEAST 20 years...no kidding. I'm pretty disappointed that I even have to buy a new one since it's basically for looks alone as the construction of the jacket is still like new even after years of use. This thing is most definitely windproof and perfect for those windy east coast winters. With that being said, this is not something you would want to work up too much of a sweat in because it really does not breathe at all...hence the windproof part. Definitely size up.

I love this jacket! It's fitted so well, especially around the waist and makes you look so powerful. I'm 5'8 and 150, and a M fits perfectly. It's a spring jacket though, definitely not a winter jacket, so just be careful. I bought it for spring weather and love it. The material is top quality as well. I love it!

This is a fabulous jacket. I got a medium so I would have room to put a fleece under it if it was colder and it works perfectly. It's also okay without, not too loose. The small I tried elsewhere and gave no allowance for extra under. The color is great - better than the online picture.

I love my jacket. The only frustration I have is with the collar. I'd rather it lay down a bit better. I rarely want it up.

Love this jacket, I get lots of complements on it. Not to heavy but great for a brisk fall day, blocks out the wind and rain resistant!

I had to send the first one back, it was a large but was to tight in the shoulders, so sent it back fore an exchange an got a extra large, fits great through the shoulders but too long in the arms, I am going to keep it anyway, as a school bus driver I don't think it will matter. Love the jacket, an was very surprised that Zappos sent it the next day after requesting an exchange.

Exactly what I expected it to be. It's windproof on the outside and really warm on the inside, and has enough room for me to layer if needed. And not to mention, the shipping was FAST!

I love this jacket. It fits perfectly. It is lightweight and warm. Except for really cold snow storms. I love it for quick trips to the store.

The Marker Blue color is beautiful! I was expecting this to be more of a spring fall jacket but it is a lot heavier/warmer than I was expecting so it will work for winter as well. I ordered a size up because I wanted it looser (I'll be using it as more of a casual jacket than a performance jacket) and that worked out perfectly. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a light, warm weather proof jacket!

I love this jacket! It is lightweight yet very warm! I was afraid at first that the Blue Marker would be too bright of a blue. I was wrong! I receive lots of compliments on this very soft, comfy cool jacket. Size fits right on the mark!

I ordered this as a gift for my wife (which she absolutely loves!). Ordered on Wednesday afternoon, received it Thursday. You just can't top the rapid shipping and stellar customer service when ordering from Zappos!

Bought a size M for my girlfriend, size was perfect - except for the sleeves (which were too long), but most of the North Face jacket sleeves run long anyways.
