Bought one for my son. Once my wife saw it, had to get one for her. High quality jacket-from the material to the seams to the zippers. Great warmth, windproof with no excess bulk.

I thoroughly enjoy this jacket. It fits true to size and fits snug to the body. The hidden pockets create a sleek line, but are very versatile when in use. Originally, I purchased this jacket for the spring and fall months, but have recently worn it this winter, over sweatshirts, etc., due to a ton of rain/snow and it has kept me dry and warm. I have also been quite pleased with how quickly this jacket dries. I do find myself wishing I could push the sleeves up occasionally, but would rather my arms stay warm instead. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase!

Great jacket, very warm, and stylish. Very slimming and figure fitting, but not too tight.

Got this jacket for my fiance for her birthday along with another Northface jacket she loved them both and I loved the service I got the idea at last minute and I was able to receive the jackets in time without paying an arm and a leg for shipping. I love Zappos service.

I bought this jacket for my fifteen year old daughter and went with the womens because the sleeves are longer compared to the youth 16-18. She loves the jacket fits perfect and the thing I love is I can get my stuff in about two days!!!

Love, Love, Love this coat. It’s perfect for winter and spring in Atlanta. It’s warm and keeps you dry on those wet days. It doesn’t add a lot of bulk and fits slim, but you can still fit a medium sweater under it without feeling restricted.

The jacket is beautiful and a perfect addition to any wardrobe. It is light, but wind resistant. Good for driving or walking. It is true to size and roomy enough for an extra layer. Enjoy!

I really love this jacket and I wear it all the time that I go out. It is pretty fitted, and I took all of the reviewer's advice and got a size larger. The jacket is a bit stiff, but I think after you wear it for a while, it's gotten a bit looser or relaxed. I haven't felt any wind, but you definitely need wear some warm shirts/sweaters (inner layers) as this isn't like fleece jackets that I used to wear. The wrists have this smooth soft fabric, and it does enclose your wrists. Some said that it was tight area, but I find it pretty nice and loose (but I have REALLY small wrists and hands). I have worn this during unexpected wind storms and rain fall, and it was great! Sure this doesn't have a hood for the rain, but I live in the Pacific Northwest, we live in the rain constantly. The only thing thing that I didn't really like is that my right cuff is lightly fraying. Definitely not what I expected with a TNF product. If it gets worse I will have to do something...at the moment it doesn't seem that bad. I got the black because it seem to be a solid basic color, and people says that I look much slimmer...which is always a plus. I am thinking about getting another color.

After reading all the reviews of this jacket I decided to purchase it. Please take the advice of others and order a size up. I did and I am sure glad I did. It runs small. I would've given it 5 stars except for the fact it is lacking a liner inside. I work out then put this coat on and it sticks to me.

I love the jacket, but way to small, had to send back. I always wear a XL but it fit like a large!

Things I liked: grape color is wonderful, fabric feels nice and somewhat stretchy like neoprene, inside has soft fleece (but not thick fleece) lining. Things that made me return it: sizing neither S nor M worked for me and getting stabbed in the throat by the top of the collar. I usually wear a S or even XS in NF but because of other reviewers I ordered up - ordered both M & S to see which worked. Unfortunately the small was so form-fitting I'd never be able to wear anything but a thin shirt under it and not even a 2nd layer. And the medium had too much extra fabric especially in the upper arms and chest area. Also the sleeves came down to almost my fingertips. But even if I could've talked myself into the fit being OK, the stand-up color is very stiff. It doesn't lay down at all only points straight up and was poking me in the underside of my jaw in a most annoying way. I don't know if the fabric would relax after wearing it for a while and the collar might 'settle down' a bit but as it is I don't think I could deal with that. I'm sad because this seems a great mid-weight jacket for spring/fall. For comparison I'm 5'5 at 115 lbs and not curvy.

Very nice quality jacket. Very warm and water resistant. Fitted and could be considered smaller through the hip part of the jacket.

Got the same kind for men for my husband and this one for me! My husband loves it and me too. The only thing though is its collar doesn't go flat when you open the zipper, it stays on your neck, but very warm and looks super nice. I am getting the fleece one too now!

This jacket is so nice - the color is vibrant, and the quality is fantastic. The one down side to this jacket is that it runs small. I normally take a medium or large in tops, depending on how they run, but the large jacket was tight on me so I had to go with XL. If you usually wear XL- this may be uncomfortable.

It's exactly how it looks and is described. It's warm but not too bulky, and great for running outside in cold weather. This purchase was definitely worth it.

In just about every review I've read it said this jacket was fitted and to go up a size...good thing I didn't. I'm 5'1",115lbs, and a 34c with a little extra baggage around my middle. And even with a medium (in thickness) hoodie the S still had plenty of room. This is my first TNF so maybe their made bigger. I know they're made loose but the reviews just kept saying it was fitted so I guess I expected it to be more fit, but that's not TNFs fault. Its still a good product, and my next will definitely be tried on at the store before ordered or bought. The sleeves are long of course & the material is a little stiff but since the jacket isn't tight it's not a problem (except for the neck area, I just don't wear it fully zipped).

Love this jacket! I was just a little disappointed that the jacket is more magenta/pink than it looks in the picture.

Very nice jacket, very fitted which was not listed. I am usually a medium, but had to get a xl. The sleves are very long. I kept the xl but should have gotten a Large. Definately get a size larger than normal.

Love my new jacket. I wear it riding motorcycles to keep dry and warm. The material is a bit stiff though but it works well for what I want it for.

I am very happy with the material. At first I wasn’t sure, it seemed stiff, but after wearing a couple of times it is great. I am able to wear it this cool weather in Iowa with a long sleeve sweater or fleece and be toasty warm. It is a snug fit and I like that. Very good quality.

I like this jacket a lot. It's lightweight, but keeps me warm. It's almost a year-round jacket. I am wearing it right now in the dead of winter and it keeps me warm and I don't have to wear tons of layers. Instead, I wear the jacket and a lightweight fleece with it. I wear the fleece just because I always were long sleeves in the winter and don't like to be cold. If you have large forearms like me, it can be a little snug in that area but other than that everything else fits great.

OK so I bought this in the brown and it is warm when it comes to keeping wind out but I wish I would have bought a bigger size because I wear a med in all the other and figured a med in style would fit just right but when I lift my hands up its small. p.s. I live in NY and its a warm jacket for the cold weather.

This is a really cute jacket and it keeps you nice and warm in the wind. However the fit could use a little work. The sleeves are too long for me and the bottom of the jacket is snug around the hips. I usually take a size small, but had to go to a medium on this. Even then it was snug on the hips. I'm not rail thin, but I don't have curvy hips either.

BUY AT LEAST ONE SIZE UP!!! It’s too bad they did not make a size XXL in this jacket. I love the fabric, features, and attention to detail North Face gives to their products. However, they seem to have completely lost a size on this jacket. I am a size 12-14 top with a 36" D bust, and with a thin tee shirt can still barely fit into a size XL in this jacket! I am average build and height, and only about 15 pounds overweight so I am not a giant here. The sleeves are too snug ALL the way down the arm, and I would not be able to wear more than a tee shirt or I would have difficulty zipping the body, especially at the bust. North Face - what happened?
