This year's design is much more flattering than last year's. Better tailoring and the hem cinchcord contributes to that. Beautifully made jacket, although be prepared for the collar to be a little stiff, which is why I gave the Comfort rating 4 stars. Other than the stiff collar, this is quite comfortable, looks great, but I was hoping it would be a little warmer for cold weather. Great for a cool day, lightweight and not at all bulky. The back is slightly longer than the front, which is nice. I am 5'3 and weigh 115 and the Small size fits great, including sleeve length. I only wish the jacket was slightly longer, but it's still a great look!

Love the Apex Bionic jacket! Would buy in every color if I could! Zappos is the best. I got my coat the day after I ordered it!

I ordered a Christmas gift very close to Christmas and received it in time just as they said. It was wonderful, reasonably priced and better in person than on the site. I would recommend this to anyone.

Bought the jacket for my daughter. She had tried one on in the store and this was purchased as a surprise present. Arrived to her in perfect condition and in a timely manner. Provides warmth without being bulky. Free shipping is wonderful!

This jacket is great! I would order a size up from what you would normally order so that you can layer underneath. It really keeps the wind out and it is so comfortable. I have owned both the light blue and the pink and I love them both!

My daughter, 24, wanted a new North Face for Christmas. She literally wore through her last one. So we shopped at the local outdoor and sporting goods stores and couldn't find the color we liked. This was the Saturday night before Christmas. When I got home, after 9 pm, I went to Zappos found exactly what I wanted, and it was on my desk Monday morning at 10 AM. How cool is that? Gave this to my daughter for Christmas. I ordered a large for her; she is tall and slim, but this is a more fitted style. It is super flattering and the fabric is fantastic. She absolutely loves it. I will be ordering one for myself as well!

I have found this jacket to be amazing in all aspects. It is warm, thin, has material inside the sleeves to prevent drafts. It zips up and down with ease, even with long nails. \r\nThe only thing you should know is this jacket fits snug, so pick your size wisely.\r\n

I like this jacket; however, it does not keep you real warm when it is cold outside. I like the Denali North Face better.

I love this jacket! It is lightweight, comfortable, and fits me extremely well. I'm 5'4" and 120 lbs. I bought a Black size "Small". Length and width is perfect. A long-sleeve base layer and a short sleeve polo short is all I can wear under this jacket and the combination of these items keeps me warm in roughly low 40's weather.

I'm so very pleased with my new jacket! The best part is that it was free-next-day shipping. I looked everywhere in Fayetteville and a neighboring town for a "The North Face" brown mid-weight jacket... with no luck...So I looked on Zappos.com and there it was! The next time I look for a jacket I'll be sure to visit Zappos.com again.

Great Jacket - Great jacket! Fit is not bulky at all, sleeve length is fine. I use mine on my motorcycle and it's a great wind blocker. I wear it all the time.

Great Jacket - Very comfortable, warm and stylish!

Perfect for almost any kind of weather - I love this jacket. I have the black, which, because of the sheen of the fabric, almost works with browns as well. I've been caught in rain storms and the water just beads right off. Very comfy, slimming, and great for layering. Also, I'm almost 5'9". I purchased a medium and the sleeves are just right on me, I don't think they're long at all.

Great jacket - This is a superb jacket. I have received many compliments on it. It has kept me warm in the early days of spring in Chicago. The ONLY downfall is that the sleeves are a bit too long. They should offer petites.

Love - I love this jacket! It’s very warm yet slim with no bulk. It has just the right amount of stretch; I usually find jackets fit me well everywhere but the shoulders. The stretch solves that problem. I also love that the back of the jacket is a little bit longer than the front. (Makes for a warmer backside!) I ordered a small (my usual size) and still have room to wear a sweater underneath. As always Zappos rules supreme with the best customer service anywhere! You cats rock! Thank you!

Great fit and comfortable - This jacket is perfect on windy day. It blocks the wind and it repels light rain. I love the fit and I have gotten many compliments and envious stares while wearing this!

Great for active lifestyle in cold weather - This is a great outer layer that provides protection from wind and snow. Exterior finish is tough enough to withstand rugged terrain without rips or snags. Highly recommend.

Great Jacket! This jacket is awesome. I had a Denali, but got tired of my hair always sticking to it. So, I ordered a medium of the Apex and it fits great with sweaters and everything. It's pretty true to size, but the sleeves are really long. I had about an inch and a half taken in, but my best friend also ordered a medium, and the sleeves fit her fine. So, apparently either I have really short arms or she has really long arms. Either way, this jacket is great, and much better than the Denali!

North Face Jacket - I really like the look and fit of this jacket. It is a great wind blocker; true to size.

Great fit for taller women - Bought this jacket when it first came out and have worn it many times. Great for the longer arms (I am 5'9") but still fitted. Also great for travel (airports, etc) Lots of pockets. Have washed it, hung to dry, several times. Any staining around the sleeve openings came out easily with a little pre-wash. The color choices were great as the lighter colors are still going strong. I bought the light pink and it looks great with everything from black pants to jeans.

Apex Bionic Jacket - Very comfortable and good looking- fits well. Sizing is generous with nice long arms, for me. This jacket keeps the wind out very well. I wear it all the time.
