Awesome shoes! Life savers if you have plantar fasciitis! I've had a lot of trouble with a bad case of plantar fasciitis for several months now. I had been wearing Birkenstocks for several years, which I love, but the lack of cushioning was extremely painful with my foot condition and I bought at least a half dozen pairs of new shoes of various brands trying to find something that would be comfortable with the orthotics and make walking a little less painful. So I saw a recommendation for these shoes and decided to swallow the hefty price tag. I put them on my feet three weeks ago, and walking was immediately nearly pain-free. I bought the sandals the next day and I am always in one pair or the other all day long, even at home. I went from limping almost all the time and pain with nearly every step to only occasional soreness and limping only for a minute after getting up. The difference has been miraculous. When I have been on my feet more than usual and they get a little sore, I switched to the other pair of MBTs and it actually relieves the soreness quite a bit. These sneakers seem to have a bit more stability than the sandals and if you have plantar fasciitis, I would recommend starting with these. A muscle in my leg with the problem foot was extremely tight as well and walking in MBTs loosened up that muscle within a day and has made walking much easier. The price is high (I really wish they were at least $50 less than they are), but it is still cheaper than custom made orthotics which don't work nearly as well. The company recommends that you don't wear orthotics with these shoes unless they are specifically made to go with MBTs. I have not worn my orthotics since I got the MBTs and my feet are much better off. As for fit, although I had my foot measured recently as normal width, I almost always buy wide width and much prefer the roominess. I thought I might have to go a size higher than I bought, but when I read that the fit is supposed to be snug, with little toe room, I figured I had the right fit with my usual size. This was confirmed when I went to a specialty shoe store to buy the sandals and they checked the sneakers and said they fit perfectly. If you have a very wide foot, you might want to go with the sandals since they are fully adjustable. Because I have been accustomed to serious arch supports, I thought the lack of an obvious arch support might be problematic. However, because of the way the shoe is designed, the cushiness in the heel and the stability in the middle seem to support the foot's arch quite well. As for appearance, I think they are very nice looking. They don't appear any clunkier than most sneakers these days and I really like the appearance of the gray shoes. In short, I wholeheartedly recommend these shoes, especially for people suffering from heel pain or who must stand a lot (it feels great to rock back and forth if you have to stand in place!) I literally put them on before I get out of bed and refuse to wear anything else. I also love that I ordered my shoes at 5:30 on a Monday, and I had them the next afternoon. Let's face it. These shoes are UGLY (I own them in black.) But they give you that "Aaah!" feeling from the moment you put them on. I have arthritis in my hip, which has lead to various aches and pains in my back and feet. But when I first tried these shoes on, my pain seemed to melt away. Not only that, but the shoes seem to be strengthening the hip muscles that had become weak as a result of the arthritis. I can feel the improvement in my posture, too. And my little dog is happy that I've started walking her again. I'm ordering a pair in a lighter color and different style in the hopes that they look better with summer clothes.

Most Comfortable Shoe EVER!!! I have had serious foot surgeries on both of my feet and I have never walked without being conscious of pain. That is until I bought these shoes. (MBT Sport Low). We just got back from a two week trip to Europe and I walked and walked and walked. I felt like I was walking on air. My fused big toe didn't hurt at all, and neither did the foot that I had a ruptured tendon repair. I was in heaven! It didn't take any time for me to get used to these shoes, and wore them all day the first day I got them. Although these shoes are not pretty, I am getting used to them and I have even gotten a few compliments. I only wear them with pants, but I also have the sandals that I can wear with skirts.

A real advance in comfort - I read the ads, was somewhat skeptical, but was delighted to experience that my MBT's give me less pain in my bad knee and hip when walking, standing and climbing stairs. They are more comfortable than my traditional walking shoes with much less pressure in the toe box. It took me about 20 minutes to get used to them. While they are pricy I feel their comfort is well worth it.

Great feel and support - I love these shoes. I have worn them for several years and love these shoes. Great for walking.

UNBELIEVABLE - I thought yea right, YEA RIGHT!! These shoes are the answer to a LONG, EXPENSIVE search. Believe what we say these are the MOST comfortable shoe you will EVER wear. It is like walking on a pillow. I have had numb, tingling, tired feet for so long. Could NOT get out of bed in the morning without putting on shoes. WOW!! Try them, you will not be disappointed, I had to return the size I originally ordered (touch to tight) called the evening I got them... I had the NEW order when I got home from work the next evening! BRAVO to the customer service and the free shipping is a big, big plus! GET THESE SHOES. I am going for the sandals next! Update ya on these, too!!

More than I had expected - Awesome shoes, I will never purchase another type of sport shoes again. They are so comfortable, I don't want to take them off. Can't wait to purchase another pair.

I am an MBT fan for life - I love these shoes! I have had mine for a couple months now. And I waited to review them until I could really give an accurate report! I can honestly say I noticed the muscles working in my thighs and rear the first time I wore them. So I decided to keep them and start wearing them on my walks. I really felt like I was getting an extra workout. Within 2 weeks I could see a difference! I then purchased the sandals and I wear them around most of the time and save the sport low tennis shoes for my walking. I average about 15-20 miles a week when walking. I wouldn’t say I noticed much difference in the core, but I have had lots of friends and family see the difference in my legs and rear without even knowing about my shoes. They are worth every penny! I ordered the size I normally wear in tennis shoes and found them to be a bit big. I wear two pairs of socks and that seems to make it a perfect fit.

Great Shoes...like walking on a trampoline - These shoes are wonderful. When you first put them on you feel as though each step is propelling you into the next one. My posture has improved by wearing these and I love them because they are comfortable and provide excellent foot and ankle support.

The Best - I ordered these shoes and waited about a month to finally put them on and keep them. The cost was holding me back. Now I look forward to wearing them and so does my body. I get a kick going to the grocery store and know I'm exercising up and down the aisles. They're more comfortable than sandals or bare feet if you can believe that.

Great shoe - After wearing the shoes for two weeks I can confirm that walking with this shoe really does give your leg muscles a work out. I want to wear them every day. I just wish they were better looking. I have a wide foot, and these fit great. The toe box area on this model is good for a wide foot.

PAINFUL - I ordered these and they gave me the worst blisters I have ever had--they are not comfortable. If you just have to try them though--order from Zappos. I have ordered from other places and there is no better customer service.

Great for walking - The minute I put these on, I was sold. Took them on a trip to Europe, where I walked many miles a day. They properly align your foot, leg, and back when you walk. Never a blister, never a sore foot, even with my flat feet. And my chronic nagging lower back and knee-joint pains never showed up at all. The shoes are quite big and blocky looking, but I put comfort before vanity and have no regrets. Worth the high price.

Fabulous MBTs - After almost 15 years of neuropathy in my feet, I have finally found a comfortable shoe! These may not be elegant in style, but they are comfortable in every respect. This is my second pair of MBTs. The first pair I bought in London last fall when a woman came walking into the hotel lobby wearing them, and I questioned her about them. Fabulous, she said, and I bought black leather ones immediately.

Happy Nurse about my MBT's - I was the first person at our hospital to purchase the MBT's. I was so impressed as I was a college athlete at one time and knew what being in shape and feeling great was all about. The first day I worked a 16 hour shift and could not believe the difference. I am 5'7" and weigh 175 pounds. The posture was the greatest benefit. My plantar warts left. No more sciatica. My stomach muscles burned at first. My buttock muscles are firm, my calves are cut. I have talked over a dozen people in my hospital into getting the MBT's. They are extremely pleased with them also. I know this purchase added years to my career, now I just need to get in shape and shave a few of those pounds and inches off. Ha! Thank you, MBT.

MBT walking shoes - These shoes are not the most attractive, but are extremely comfortable and great for walking. I love Pilates and these shoes encourage you to walk with proper posture. They also really work you calves.

All the Claims Are True! I didn’t believe it until I actually wore them and walked 4 days a week for 30 minutes. They totally help to sculpt your lower body! I Love them!!!!!!!!!! They are worth every PENNY!

MBT shoes - I bought my first pair of MBT's 1 1/2 weeks ago. I suffer from heel spurs and plantar fasciitis. I had plantar ligament release in Dec. I'm on my feet all day. In just this short time, the strain on my knees and back is gone. The shoes are very warm at first when you wear them, until your muscles start strengthening. In one week's time, I took my dog for a 5 block walk! I haven't been able to do this in 2 years! So far, I'm pleased that I spent this exceptional amount of money for these shoes. Time will tell if my foot muscles strengthen and stretch enough that I can finally walk into the bathroom, at night from the bedroom, without putting on a pair of shoes! This is my last resort since I've already had the surgery done! Bravo, for someone to finally come up with a shoe to help my problems. Could make more fashionable styles.

9 out of 10 - I love how these shoes feel, although I still have problems with heel slippage. The 9 out of 10 is because they are ugly, but well worth it. I wore normal athletic shoes to the gym the other day and was miserable.

Great shoe. I heard about MBT shoes from my Dad in the UK several years ago so when they became available here I got some. They do everything they say they will...a great workout for the legs and butt. A great walk, even elliptical/treadmill shoe. I have the sandal too, great for summer.

My Knee's Feel Better - I'd suffered from knee pain for quite some time. Medication and exercises didn't seem to help much. I read about these shoes and thought I would give them a try. My knee pain went away very quickly! It took a couple of weeks to get used to the shoes. They are the only shoes I wear now. I work out on the treadmill everyday in them! They may not be for everyone but they solved my knee problem.

Works like a Charm - This has to be the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn, looks good and it has support. I work as a hairstylist and I am on my feet going nonstop all day. I even have some energy left at the end of my day.

The pain is gone! MBT's look a little unusual, but who cares! Years of Sciatica attacks, nightly leg cramps and leg muscle spasms literally disappeared after wearing my first pair of MBT's - I have a closet full of great looking shoes that I no longer wear because they simply can't match the comfort of an MBT. An added bonus is the workout they give your legs and butt - awesome!

Looks weird but feels great! I have been wearing these shoes for 2 weeks now and I must say I love them. They are very comfortable once you get used to the rocking motion. I find I am walking longer

These are the best!!! I think these shoes live up to the hype. I just love them and wear them all the time and I'm not a sneaker girl. I have had lower back problems and these seem to help.
