Good Shoes - I stand 10 hours a day in my job and these shoes are great. They do take some getting used to as the heel is lower than the toe. They totally realign your posture and are such a welcome relief from most shoes which send your weight downward over the ball of your foot. I like the style- they are very cute and I receive compliments on them all the time. I will definitely be buying more Earth shoes.

I've been dreaming about these shoes. I spotted these shoes about a year ago but held off on buying them because I normally wear a wider size. When I finally decided to try them on, I discovered they are a little wider than I was expecting, and they are pretty comfortable. They offer a lot of support but are also quite stylish. Love the elastic banding.

Cute, but maybe too wide - These would look cuter if they weren't quite so wide. These probably wouldn't work well if you have narrow feet. They seem pretty comfortable except that they are a little large so my heel is slipping - I would have ordered a 1/2 size smaller, but they don't come in 10 1/2. They do need to be broken in - I went on a long walk in them the 1st day and ended up getting blisters.

Cute cute cute! These shoes are so comfortable but are cut wide through the front of the foot. It makes the shoe fairly large all-around. You can't deny, though, that they are uber comfy. For a mod mary-jane, these are tops.

Everyday shoes! I bought these to replace a pair of Aerosoles that had been eaten by our new puppy . . . and I love them! They are so comfortable and fit really well. I am on my feet all day and walk everywhere so I appreciate comfortable shoes. This is the first pair of earth shoes I purchased(it won't be the last) and the negative heel really does help my back and knees so that by the end of the day I am not in pain. If the puppy eats these . . .

Took a while to get used to... It took me a few months of wearing these to finally break these shoes in. The negative heel is very strange at first, but you get used to it. My problem was that the insole, the footbed, was raised ever-so-slightly on either side of the shoe (probably due to stitching or the sole attachment), so the bones in my feet (big toe ball and pinky toe ball) would ache after 10 minutes of standing or walking in these. Finally have "broken them in" but it took a lot of days of sore feet to do so. I may have just gotten a "bad pair" or something, I will probably try Earth brand again, because now that they are broken in, I really enjoy wearing them. Not as over-all comfortable as many of my Danskos, not as much arch support due to the way the shoe is designed. But a nice, lightweight shoe, and fairly comfortable, now that they're finally broken in to my foot shape. (Caveat: I bought these because I have really frequent foot pain, and I was hoping for some relief.)

These shoes are very cute, practical, etc. However, the first few times you wear them, they are likely to rub blisters on your heels. They did soften and now they are my favorite pair of shoes. But beware, the back of the shoe is stiff and really rubs your heel at first (wear socks until you break them in).

It's a good shoe. I like these a lot. They're quite comfortable and very nice to walk in. My only complain would be that the elastic strap is a bit tight. It doesn't bother me if I'm wearing socks, but without them it rubs slightly.

Great for walking - They are not the most stylish shoes around, but they are great for walking, walking, walking. They are my favorite vacation shoes. Feet, ankles, legs -- NOTHING will not hurt after a whole date of site-seeing.

Not for plus size girls - I love the look of the shoe but it made my foot pooch out on the top and look fat. I am a size 16/18, size 9 shoe and didn't think my feet were fat until I put this shoe on. I gave them to my mom who loves them so far. The footbed was very comfy but the top of the shoe was too tight.

Felt 1/2 size bigger than expected - I am a die hard devotee to Earth shoes, so I can't say I was that disappointed that they didn't fit exactly. They were a bit too big so I am returning them for a half size smaller. Other than that, Earth can do no wrong.

Prepare to ruin all your socks - I loved wearing these shoes, everyday in fact. They were comfortable easy to slip on and off, great for long days on your feet. The downside, the red color inside will rub off on all your socks and never wash out. The inside of the shoes started to shred apart after six months, the toe sheen gets scratched up easy. You decide if it’s worth the money if you want an everyday shoe that doesn’t even last one year.

Looks great, doesn't feel so good till broke in - This shoe is not true to size, a bit narrower in the toe box, yet loose in the heel.

Earth's Allure - I loved the concept and technology of this shoe, but it was not narrow enough in the heel to give me the support I need. If it came in a narrow size, I would have wanted this shoe in many colors and styles.

Sadly disappointed but won't give up... After endless research I paid a pretty penny for these size 10 Earth shoes in hopes that they would be the answer to my prayers. Instead I experienced severe foot pain from a misplaced, exaggerated arch system and hard, narrow insole. A larger size would help but they don't make them in 10.5 so I'm out of luck. I'm stumped- I have narrow feet and a moderate arch- and am very disappointed these cute shoes aren't living up to their great reviews. Will probably continue trying to break them in.

I LOVE these shoes but unfortunately they really hurt my feet. The arch is too firm at the edge compared to the Solar style which is SO comfortable and has more cushion. I also tried the Echelon and found the same thing. I am so disappointed.

Returning - I'm returning these shoes sadly because I love the way they look and wanted them to be comfy. But the bed is very, very firm. To the point where it wasn't comfy for me.

I have spent over $25 trying to make the insole comfortable and by now they are only bearable. The arch support is too high and the insole is structured in such a way that it presses on your feet at the wrong spots. Another reviewer said it took several months of breaking in. I have tried for two months now and continue to struggle with them. I too have wondered whether I have gotten a defective pair!
