These shoes are great! It takes a little getting used to with the negative heel technology (husband said it looked like I was walking uphill! Hee, hee), but they are much better on your alignment than regular shoes. After the first day, my calves were a little worked (not really sore, but slightly "worked") probably b/c I've worn heels way too much in my earlier years. Wish I would have kept the socks on all day though; got a small blister in the Achilles. Besides that, they are WAY comfortable! And, look pretty cute for being so practical!!!

Love this shoe! This has to be one of the most comfy shoes I've owned. I'm 8 months pregnant, with some lower back pain, and this shoe has helped me walk painlessly! It looks great too.

Great for Teachers! Being on my feet all day, I am always looking for the shoes that make my feet happy. These shoes do just that! They don't put pressure on my bunion and they make my back feel great. I love these shoes! I will be ordering more Earth shoes in the future.

Good walking shoe - works for narrow feet too - These are great walking shoes for those times (which are most), when you don't want to wear sneakers. I kind of like the negative heel, I wasn't sure I would. It almost feels like walking barefoot. I have a narrow foot and it is really hard to find a step-in shoe that will stay on my foot. I ordered a half size smaller than I normally wear, and it stays on my foot and there is enough room for my toes! I kind of wish the strap was adjustable, though, that would just make more sense.

70's revisited - This shoe is fantastic! It is perfect for me, a yoga practitioner, for it makes me feel as if I am spinally aligned all day. I had no problem adjusting to a negative heel. Felt natural and right. I love the color and the fact that it makes my feet look smaller (I'm a petite person with a size 9 foot). I may buy another in a different color.

Great shoes. Super comfortable, though the elastic band may be a little tight for those with high arches.

Happy Earth Shoe Customer - These were my first Earth shoes and I really like them for comfort and style. I have already worn them through the airport and taking them on and off is no big deal. The style is exactly like the picture, the comfort is as good as a sneaker. The materials are top grade. I am very satisfied!

Bye bye Birks, your fall replacements are here! Being a fan of comfort footwear, I stayed close to what I knew. Birks, Uggs, Keen... But when I decided to go back into the office, I knew I would need shoes. This pair ALONE could be all I need. Sadly, I wore the two junky pairs to the office already, so I don’t think I will be allowed to return them. I will forever consider Earth Shoes as a staple.

Love at first sight - I first saw these shoes in the window of a local shoe store and I knew they were the shoes for me. Unfortunately, they didn't have my size available or the color I wanted, so Zappos to the rescue. I love the look of these shoes, very well made. The shoes have been rubbing on my ankle bone a little but I'm hoping it will go away as soon as they are broken in.

Totally cute and comfy! No complaints about this shoe. I actually find it more comfortable than some of the other Earth shoes I have. I did have to send my first pair back, however, because they were too big. You might want to order a half size below what you normally would wear.

Love them. Some of these Earth shoes look strange, but these are very cute and understated. They are also incredibly comfortable and well made. I am thinking about buying another pair in a different color.

A+++++ These are great shoes. They are comfortable and true to size. I might get some in black as well. If you are not use to Earth style then you do feel like you are leaning back but that is how the make is. But they are great.

These shoes are really great, they fit pretty much exactly what I was looking for and how often does that ever happen? I've been a maryjane addict for years now and the casual but still fashionable twist Allure has to offer is the perfect addition to my ever growing collection. These shoes work great for my long workdays at the spa and look good with a variety of outfits whether it’s a skirt, pants, capris, and jeans, whatever. I have yet to be disappointed with Earth shoes!

My new earth shoes - Not as stylish as I hoped they would be, but pretty comfortable. They're a little flat, not much arch support. I have been wearing them to work though, where I'm on my feet all day, and my feet, legs and back don't hurt at night!

Why not narrow? Good-looking shoe. But, like other Earth shoes, it is far too wide for my narrow flat feet (and the Earth representative I spoke to declared they have no demand for narrows -- a statement I do not believe). I like Earth's negative footbed: it relieves an occasional problem with heel spurs and improves my posture. I can wear Earth Echelon because it has a strap that can be tightened so it hangs onto my feet. But the elastic band on this shoe is not adjustable, and it is so long that it does nothing to hold my foot in the shoe. And the shoe feels far wider than a B, possibly because it is a Size 11 and manufacturers seem to make shoes wider as they make them longer. The only way I can wear it is with thick socks (ugly) or a big orthotic, which changes the distinctive shape of the interior and throws my feet off balance. Why don't manufacturers of "comfort" shoes realize that one width does not fit all?

I love Earth Shoes. They feel great, have relieved my plantar fasciitis and are good looking too. The Allure is a bit dressier than I had expected from the scans. I wanted something casual to wear with my black pants and jeans, these don't quite fit the bill as knock around shoes, but they are fine for work.

Comfy and pretty cute - I've just recently gotten a job where I will be standing on my feet all day, so I thought I'd try an Earth shoe. The Allure was appropriate and looked attractive. Well, I can tell you this shoe is great for my plantar fasciitis and low back pain (that I sometimes get from standing), too. Now, in a perfect world, I would be fabulously thin and have lots of gorgeous high-heels and adorable, tiny, girly flats that would bother my feet not one bit as I stood in them for hours. It's obviously not a perfect world. Still, they have grown on me, with the crossover front and the Mary Jane style strap. All in all, a great value in a shoe. After all, what price can you put on not wrecking your back? Of course, Zappos was fantastic as always. I'm a pretty solid 8 1/2 shoe size, but when the 8 1/2's came they were too big. So I sent them back and ordered the 8's. Of course they came, like, immediately and fit very well. Hooray for Zappos!

Barb - I really like my Earth Allure shoes. The only issue I have is the seams on the inside but if I wear thick sox with them I don't notice it as much. So if they could somehow smooth out those seams on the inside the shoe would definitely get a 5 star rating with me. BTW...my doctor even said..."what a great looking shoe".

Takes getting used to - I don't think I've worn these shoes enough to truly rate them. They are comfortable on my feet and I like their look. But they seem to make my back hurt a day or 2 AFTER I've worn them. I think you just need to wear them more, not just occasionally.

Alluring...little shoe - Quite comfortable right from the start..ordered a 7...had to go to a 7.5. I believe this style is pretty true to size. I had tried on a pair in a retail store...a clog style and that one ran bigger. Good arch support..I am in retail, on my feet most of the day. I plan on ordering more Earth shoes...maybe some funky ones...I love shoes!!!

Elastic strap is too loose - They felt great, especially the arch support, but my foot kept slipping out due to the wide elastic strap. My feet are long (size 11) and wide, but skinny - think of a duck - so its always hard to find "big" shoes that fit. Had to return, but ordering a different pair, where I can tighten the strap.

Comfort shoe - I recently had total knee replacement and needed a shoe that looked nicer than a tennis shoe to wear to church etc...I did not want to take a chance of "falling off" of a healed dress shoe. This shoe fit the bill, looks nice and feels good.
