Great looking and comfortable - They take a little getting used to. When I put them on in the morning, there is a short adjustment period of maybe 5-10 minutes where I have to adjust to how to stand and walk in them, but once I do, they are GREAT and COMFORTABLE! They look really cute too. I got the green ones, and get comments on them often. I have noticed the arch in them, as others have. You just have to kind of let your heels sink into them and let your feet take on the arch on these shoes. I can see how they would be painful for someone with flat feet though. But if you don't have flat feet, these are great shoes. I wear a 10 and the 10 in these fits just right. No binding, no tightness. Great all around.

Really Comfy Shoes - I am loving my Earth Shoes, they are very, very comfortable. The Earth web page advertises that all their shoes are slip resistant, which is the reason I purchased my Allures. I need slip resistant shoes for work, and wanted a pair that was cute and comfy. Cute they are, comfy they are, but not the least bit slip resistant. Although I can not wear them to work I am still happy with them.

Reasonable comfort & appearance - These shoes are very comfortable except for the non-adjustable elastic strap. I don't have fat feet and I find that strap cutting after a while. Regarding appearance, these shoes look much better on than pictured.

Awesome shoes - These shoes are great, comfortable, and stylish.

I love these shoes - They look adorable on, are super comfortable and my knees feel a lot better when walking in them. They didn't need any wearing time and feel amazing on. My feet can relax in them.

Interesting! When I put these shoes on I instantly loved them. Then I looked in the mirror and wanted to return them. I actually went through a couple of days of this cycle before I decided to keep them because they are just so comfortable.

Fun shoes - I am enjoying my "Mary Jane's" and have worn them with pants and skirts.

Do not buy if you have a flat foot. These shoes have it all -- almost! Super cute, so comfy if it weren't for that massive arch system. Wow! I have a very small arch and these hurt my arch badly, simply because of the extra support they have in that area. Just beware if you have "flattish" feet... unfortunately these shoes are probably not for you!

Earth - VERY comfortable. I want another pair in every color. Just seems to run slightly large. But still extremely comfy!

My first pair of Earth shoes! I thought for sure these would be too strange for me, but they are so comfortable. They're a little funky looking, but I like them. The heel I only notice when I'm walking fast and I like it because I feel like I'm giving myself a little bit of a work out. They feel true to size (I'm a 7.5, bought a 7.5, perfect) and good padding on the bottom and just enough room. I often have trouble with shoes digging on the top of my foot and these do not, they're great. Will definitely get more Earth shoes!

The shoes felt great on my feet when I tried them on. As I wore them I didn't get any blisters or have any uncomfortable pressure spots that I had to break in. I also think the slight upward curvature at the toes keeps me from catching my feet on irregular surfaces. I fell last year and broke my elbow and I think it was because the shoes I was wearing caught at the toe tip on pavement. Because of that incident I was looking for shoes with a slight upward cure at the toes. I really like that the toe area is roomy. I wear them with slacks and with skirts. I have three pairs now. Thank you.

Earth Allure - This is my first time in Earth shoes and what more can I say than -- FABULOUS!! Very comfy yet stylish (glamour suede). No break in time necessary, just slip on and go. I will definitely buy more Earth shoes in the very near future.

Great shoes - I love these shoes. I have at least 6 pairs of Earth shoes already and wear these the most.

Break-in time required for first timers! This was my first pair of Earth shoes and, honestly, they required two days of breaking in. They seemed to hit my foot in all the wrong places and just felt...wrong. I thought the elastic would be uncomfortable, but it's quite unnoticeable from the start. I almost returned them. I then tried them without socks and I think that helped break them in. After that, I did not want to take them off. Until I got the Earth Cabo's, I was wearing these as my house shoes because they helped so much with my plantar fasciitis. As long as I'm wearing Earth shoes, I don't have any pain. They have changed my life. And how can you beat next day shipping from Zappos.com?

Earth's Allure shoe takes some getting used to. I love the look of these shoes; they're sort of like elegant clown shoes. I work on my feet and wore them to work one night. My calves and shins were a little sore at the end of my shift -- I guess they were a little stressed at such a change in alignment. I'm slowly building up to wearing these for longer stretches. Overall, I'd say they're quite comfortable and I'll buy another pair someday.

I might as well start signing my paychecks over to Zappos now as these are my 9th pair of Earth shoes and the 9th time I have been more than pleased with the look and performance of the shoe. I actually have 2 pairs of Allure since I loved my first pair so much that I had to order it again. These are excellent for doing just about anything in, whether it’s walking, working, running or driving. My only complaint is that they are sized rather large and I needed to take a half size down from my usual size.

So cute, so comfortable, so Earth! I already have a pair of Earth Intrigue in Moss (which are, hands down, the best pair of shoes I have ever purchased). I bought a pair of the Earth Allure style to wear to my "office" job. My office is "dress casual" but I sit at a desk all day - so I was trying to find a shoe that was stylish AND comfortable. This shoe lets me get away with wearing "slippers" to work without anyone knowing. I love the color (I bought them in Caribou) because it goes great with brown dress pants or dress khakis. Oh, and I bought my normal size and they fit perfectly. Don't go up or down a half size with this Earth shoe - order your normal size. Thank you Earth for making another great, indestructible, comfortable shoe!

A great everyday shoe! I ordered my Earth Allure shoes a few weeks ago and have worn them almost everyday since I received them. I am on my feet all day and have had significantly less pain since I got these shoes. I will order another pair soon.

Comfort without the earth shoe look - I enjoy the ease of putting these on, and heading out the door without worrying that I look bad, or that my feet will hurt in an hour. They run a bit big, just a little. I got size 9, and if I would have spent the time, I would have exchanged and tried an 8 ½.

I agree with other reviewers - this Earth shoe will spoil you for any others. It is totally cute and comfortable. I think this style is a little wider and roomier than other Earth styles, which is perfect for me.

Cute - I heard this comment from my younger co-workers - This shoe is much nicer looking than the picture makes it look. It is quite unusual for a person who has to wear orthopedic looking shoes to hear, "Those are so cute." That was the comment made by my younger style conscious young co-workers. I don't understand the cheap looking piece of elastic sewn across the shoe when the rest of the shoe is made of such quality products. A small leather band would have been so much more attractive then what appears to have been an afterthought with the elastic. The strap is very effective in holding the shoe in place and preventing blisters from it moving around. Again my orthotics won't fit inside these since the footbed is not removable. I hope Earth Shoes is listening and takes note that some of us do have to wear our own orthotics with shoes this is one of the reasons I have always been a fan of Earth Shoes along with some of their shoes looking stylish enough that I don't feel like my feet are the first part of me to enter a room. These may be a 1/2 size longer than my previous Earth Shoes but a size smaller would not be long enough.

You'll be hooked on this brand. I already have this exact style in brown, otherwise I would have been concerned as to whether the size was right. But, with Zappos easy return policy, it's worth the risk. This brand tends to run 1/2 size large for me. I am fairly new to this brand and it does take a day or two to adjust to the negative heel technology----but what a great shoe! I am slowly replacing all my "regular" shoes with EARTH shoes.

These have got to be the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn, no exaggeration. I first ordered Allure in Beaver and loved it so much that I ordered it again in Black. I work as a Massage Therapist and spend the vast majority of my time at work on my feet so stable and comfortable shoes are a must. I fell in love with Earth brand about a year ago because they always deliver these two things but deserve bonus marks for having such cute and fashionable shoe designs as well. Allure is a great mix of a casual slip on and a dressier mary jane. It works great with jeans, capris or a skirt. I find though that they are sized a bit large, I ended up with a half size smaller than my usual to get a good fit. Overall though, a great shoe. I would highly recommend these.
