I am a florist. Being on my feet while designing is 80% of my day. I was able to put these shoes on and start working immediately. The break in period was minimal. Extremely comfortable.

Very comfortable work shoes - I already own the brown pair and now ordered the black ones, can't wait until they arrive. I work 12 to 16 hours a day on my feet on hard floors, and these shoes are the only ones I have found so far that I can stand to wear the whole day.

Great shoe for anyone. I loved this shoe as soon as I put it on. It fit well with a roomy toe box, and it was very comfortable in its arch support and footbed generally. I liked the velcro strap across, as this allowed for better fit and more secure feel to a low cut heel cup. I don't like many of the low cut heel type clogs as they feel like they're going to fall off. This shoe does not have that feel. It is comfortable, secure feeling, and true to size in length and width. Although I am no longer on me feet for 12-14 hours a day as I was when actively nursing, I do have times when I am on my feet for hours at a time on hard ceramic/stone floors, or just walking outside. A great shoe and great service, as always, from Zappos. [It took 3 tries to find a shoe that worked for me. Zappos cheerfully took the shoes back, paying all costs. [I have recommended them to family and friends.]

My profession has me on my feet 7-8 hours a day. These shoes felt great the very first day I wore them. I also have a wide foot and these were perfect.

Great Shoe! I am so happy with this shoe. Very, very comfortable right out of the box. I am very heavy and my feet always seem to hurt by the end of the day. Not with these shoes. Went shopping all day and realized when I got home my feet were fine. I'll be ordering a pair in black and checking out their other styles too. After years of spending up to $200.00 on my shoes I can't believe a pair for less is better than all of them.

Great comfortable shoe - I bought these shoes to wear on a trip-they're great to just slip on and off through airport security. Very comfortable for walking too. The brown color goes with everything.

Great buy - These were just what I need for work. I am on my feet for about 7/8 hours a day and these shoes are very light and comfortable. They are also stylish enough to wear with capris or tights. The service was great, I received them the very next day.

Fantastically comfortable shoe - I've been through the wringer trying to find shoes since I developed a tailor's bunion. These shoes are wonderful. I sent back two pairs trying to get a pair on which the decorative stitching wasn't messed up. Ah, well. Structurally the shoe is great, very comfortable. The messed up stitching detracts from the look a bit.

All comfort, All the Time - These aren't the most stylish shoes on the market, but if you are looking for a shoe big on comfort, then this is the one for you. Just put them on and go, you won't be sorry! Add to that, they are warm in cold weather and not slippery on wet surfaces or ice and you have a real winner. I just love them and might just get a second pair since the price is so great! Thanks Zappos!!!

Nurse Mate's are Great - These shoes are very comfortable. I wear a size 11 and a lot of times shoes are too short. I can't wear a 12 so I become very frustrated with shoes that are not true to size. These shoes are a mule but they stay on my foot very well probably because of the velcro strap. I did have to remove the insert so I could fit my orthotics, but it works really well and the shoe stays on my foot and my feet are not pushed forward. The stitching inside is a little rough when you remove the insert but it does not hurt my feet. I also bought the brown pair.

How many pairs should I stock up on? Every now and then you get a shoe that really fits and is comfortable without any break-in period. This pair is it. Love 'em. My only question is: "How many more pairs should I buy to stockpile, cause this doesn't happen frequently for me?"

Most comfortable shoes - These are the shoes that I wore while standing on my feet 8-9 hours a day in the Orlando Convention Center. They are great shoes and quite attractive. I would recommend them.

Great for Nursing students - I did 12hr day clinicals. I can't say my feet felt like they were on air the whole 12hrs but the shoes were comfy for most of the shift & my feet weren't sore at the end of the day. I usually wear a 7.5 or 8 in tennis shoes so I got a 7.5 wide & they fit perfectly. I was worried about the back being low but there was no flopping at all.

This shoe was comfortable but I did have a problem with flip-flop motion when I walked. No matter how I adjusted the strap I couldn't get the fit right. I love Nurse Mates and will try another style.

This shoe is alright - This shoe is amazingly comfortable. It’s a bit like a clog, but it has a small lip in the back so your foot doesn't fall out too easily. The arch supports are very comfortable and I wear this shoe for 8 hours weekdays, but I am not on my feet for most of that time.

Bought a pair of these in brown last year and they were the most comfortable shoe I have worn is a while. Just had to have another pair! Love these shoes. Do wish they came in other colors however. I am not a nurse. But do have plantar fasciitis and I can wear these all day with no problem or pain.

I was upset that I have to return these. The feel at least a half size smaller in length (width is good, but I have narrow feet). Unfortunately, I can't exchange them for the next size up because they simply do not work at all with my custom orthotics.

Sent these as a gift to my daughter and she loves them (her feet were hurting).

Have had these shoes for 4 years and I wear them almost every day. They still look like new! Great buy and very comfortable. I had 2 surgeries on my foot for a neuroma and have difficulty finding shoes to put my orthotics in, these fit the bill nicely. Don't hesitate to buy.
