Marci Nurse Mate - 1. Zappos is wonderful. I ordered these shoes and got them five days later, which is unheard of since I live in the interior of Alaska. Awesome fast. 2. I chose to try these shoes over other work/slip-resistant comfort shoes because of other reviews about how there's absolutely NO break-in time. THEY WERE RIGHT. I have never felt better in new shoes. It's like I've had them for three months already. Fit was perfect, true to size. 3. I rated the look as average because let's face it, they look like grandma shoes. You'd think I was walking around a golf course in Florida. And the back was tall enough to be annoying at first but too short to be any help keeping the shoe on. After about ten minutes I got used to it though. 4. Overall, I would (and already have) recommend.

I had plantar fasciitis; I had a surgery for it and this shoe has been the only one that I have been able to wear without any problems. I had not been able to wear any new shoes in 8 months. My foot has a small arch, so I cannot find shoes that feel comfortable on my arch. The extra support on the heel makes a huge difference, especially if your heel is constantly suffering pain. By the way, I got them next day, too. I really love them; I am waiting for other colors to come out.

Very comfortable shoe - There was not break in period with this shoe. I put them on and was able to wear them for 12 hours the first day without any problems. Would definitely buy another pair.

Wore 12 hours the 1st day... Seemed like I could wear these shoes easily around the house the 1st couple days, but the true test was at the hospital. My 12 hr. shifts make my feet and legs ache, but I barely thought of them the day I wore these shoes... comfy and more dressy than sneakers... I may get a pair in black, too.

Great Shoe - This shoe is comfortable, true to size, and has a nice look. My feet don't hurt at the end of the day anymore!

Great Style and Comfort! These shoes are perfect for everything. I bought them to wear at work, but I find myself wearing them every where I go. One of the things that I like about them is that they are easy to put on with the low back, but they don't fall off-even if I walk backwards. They are made very well, they are comfortable, and they are easy to wear with just about every outfit.

As Good As It Gets - These shoes are every bit as comfortable as all the other reviewers said they were! I actually hesitated a week to try them out at work, because I ordered another pair at the same time, wore them first, and they were such a success that I couldn't imagine scoring with 2 pair of shoes that were such winners at the same time!!

Comfortable work shoe - This turned out to be a very comfortable shoe. When I tested them at home, the back of the shoe would slip and rub against my heel with every step, which worried me. I decided to keep them anyway. When I wore them at work, they never rubbed against my heel; in fact, they feel almost like wearing slippers at work!

Love, love, love this shoe. I really have problems with my feet and I work in a grocery store, on my feet all day. These shoes are the best that I have had. Very, very comfortable.

Great shoes when working long hours - I am a nurse and this pair of shoes will make your feet feel happy and cared for. Be kind to your feet and buy these shoes.

I ordered the Nurse Mates to wear to work, as they are slip resistant and I need them for the work I do. I would recommend these shoes to anyone and the comfort level is 10 and above. I just love the look and I can wear them for 8 hours or more and my feet never hurt at all.

Wonderful work shoe!!! I love this shoe! In March I had to go in for back surgery and now that I am back to work I needed a shoe that is not only comfortable but can fit in at the office. I bought a pair in brown and one in black. These are the best shoes I have ever owned. Thank you.

This is the most comfortable shoe I think I have ever owned. I bought it for work and 12 hours on a concrete floor was a piece of cake. They were so awesome that I bought two pair (different colors) to wear at home!

Good sturdy work shoe - I work in a manufacturing environment and just had back surgery. I wanted something that was stylish but with a lot of comfort and support. This shoe has been great. It is made well. I walk a lot and my feet feel cushioned and comfortable all day.

OUTSTANDING! These were purchased as a gift for one of our daughters (works in nursing - on her feet all day) who has trouble sometimes getting a comfortable fit in shoes (size 8W). Great for work! I serve as a hospital chaplain and these shoes have become my favorites! No break-in time, they are super comfortable, and I have no bunion or heel pain when wearing them, which I sometimes have with other shoes!

Nurse Mate Marci - I am very satisfied with the quality of leather for this particular shoe. It is soft, yet very durable. It is very comfy the first time that you try it on. It is designed to cradle your feet without any pressure points and does not flip flop as you walk. Plenty of support and non slip heel and sole. Great look with slacks, jeans, skirts or uniform

Ahhh.....love them ! I work at Starbucks, and am on my feet all day. These are the best shoes ever for that kind of work. Usually when I get home after work, my shoes immediately come off, but many times I've found myself leaving these shoes on, that's exactly how comfortable they are!!!

Nurse Mates Marci - Great for standing on concrete floors about 4 hours, then my feet get a bit sore. Plenty of toe room with socks in the wide width. Very accommodating if you have a high arch. Overall, I found these shoes have excellent grip and serve well as both work and casual shoes.
