I am very happy with these unique and comfortable boots. I have the chocolate brown; the colors and stitching are beautiful. They are like a snowboard boot. They don't taper through the ankle, but come up straight, like the "walking cast" the girl before said, but they are VERY comfortable. Very light. Roomy. I wear an 8 1/2 in tennis shoes...and find that boot size fits great. I can wear with thick or skinny socks and since they lace up, the boot easily accommodates both. I also have wide feet and love how the boot doesn't feel tight in width.

Love these boots! I haven't stopped wearing these boots since I received them. I have a fairly small calf and these boots fit perfectly.

I love this boot. My right foot is paralyzed but not the ankle, and I can skinny into this boot. I thought my boot days were over. It is great with the lower heel otherwise it wouldn’t work. I ordered a size smaller and they fit fine, maybe even a tiny bit large, but comfortable. The brown toe looks classy. I think it adds European dimension. I am going to order the brown.

LOVE these boots! I had been looking for a pair of low heel, fitted calf comfortable boots for the past couple years and finally found these on Zappos and they are awesome! I get so many compliments; they fit my very skinny calves, and are really comfortable. I can't recommend them highly enough. I am probably going to buy another pair for when these get too used.

Great boot that matches everything. I had read the other reviews before purchasing this boot, and I agree with the others. The boot feels a bit big, and I considered exchanging it for a smaller size. I was concerned that the smaller size would feel too snug, and they are very comfortable as is. They look great on. Like others mentioned, I have a wide calf. When I received them, I wasn't sure if I'd be able to get them on. They fit great on the calf - like a glove. They stitching really gives the leg a very slimming look. They can be worn with casual or dressier outfits. The brown is a great shade. Since they don't have a zipper, you need to pull to get them off. It's worth the extra effort because they really look great.

These boots were made for walking all over NYC - Wore these boots all over Manhattan today - walked from Lincoln Center to lower Broadway and back and these boots were deliciously comfy.

Great looking boot - I have not had a chance to wear these beautiful boots yet but when I tried them around the house, they were very comfortable. My orthotics fit in them but I may not need to wear them. The arch support seems to be good enough. They are cut full enough for my wide feet and the soft leather does not dig into my ankles. The lower heels make them perfect to wear to work. I can't wait to wear them.

These are fabulous --they fit well and are super comfortable. I am going online as we speak to get them in Black. I wear a 9.5 and sometimes a 10, depending on the narrowness of the boot, and the recommendation on sizing was right on -- I purchased a size 40 and they fit great!

Sooooo Comfie - I recently got a cast off my leg due to torn ligaments and needed something soft and comfortable that still looked good with a skirt or pants. In NYC, you have to look cool and these boots really are. These are wonderful and do not disappoint. I can wear them on those 14 hour days, walk forever, and still have happy feet. They do run about a size larger than marked so go down a size and you will be happy. Excellent value for the money.

Fantastic! I am wearing them for the first time right now and already hooked. I want another pair, as I think I may end up wearing them every day all winter! They are very stylish, soft and flexible with a very comfortable heel height. I wanted a boot primarily to wear w/pants but these will work w/skirts as well. I have very thin calves and most boots (zippered type) are too wide. Stretch is great. And the leather is very nice and supple too. I love them! I cannot believe the reasonable price--a GREAT deal.

Great looking, comfortable boot - I love my new Rieker boots. They look great and they are very comfortable. However, they have no padding in the footbed (nor any arch support) so walking long distances is hard on the balls of your feet. Unlike other reviewers and the company's own recommendations, I found them true to size, not larger than marked.

Elegant boots - I find these boots to be very flattering, comfortable and stylish. They do lengthen the foot. This works well for me as I am tall. The leather is very smooth and supple. They are really nice with shorter skirts and tights.

Reiker Boots - I have been wearing Reiker shoes for many years now and have never been disappointed. I needed a boot that not only looks good, but would be extremely comfortable. This boot totally lives up to both expectations!

Rieker Boots Rock - These boots are amazing. They are stylish and comfortable. I bought them for a Fall/Winter trip to Europe and am so glad that I did. They are extremely comfortable and look great with pants and dresses. They are also lightweight and fold up very small so perfect for carry-n luggage! I got my size and slipped in my sports orthotics so it was good these felt a bit larger.

Superhero Stretch. These boots are gorgeous! They make me feel like Emma Peal, Wonder Woman, and Carrie Bradshaw all at the same time. A little low to the ground for CB. I wear 8.5-9 and ordered a 40. They are quite roomy. I will be wearing heavy socks in the cold. Comfy enough, but not a lot of padding or support. The stretch leather is fabulous on the calf and they stay up nicely.

Nice and stretchy - I have a wide foot and high arch and usually wear an 8.5W or 9M. The 9M fits me fine. When I first tried to put these on, I was afraid they wouldn't go. But they are very soft and stretchy and very comfortable once they are on. They look dressy with skirts and the black toe thing doesn't bother me because the brown is so dark, it doesn't jump out at you.

A very modern look - These boots slipped on like a glove, are extremely comfy (definitely follow the sizing recommendation by Zappos as they do run big) and fit perfectly. However, they are just a tad funky for wearing with skirts/dresses, but would be great under pants. My husband commented that I looked ready for "Starfleet Command" on Star Trek! He was right. Not quite the look I was going for. Back they go.

Rieker tall stretchy boot - This is a very comfortable and stylish boot! The look is very modern and sophisticated, yet so comfy. They stretch well on the top for my big calves, which is always a problem trying to find good looking boots. I have 3 pair of Rieker boots, just love em!

The best! It was touch and go with the European sizing but I'm glad Zappos let me keep trying. These boots are soft and comfy and accommodate my orthotics. The style is outstanding. You can't go wrong.

Love those Rieker's stretch boots! I wear size 10 and ordered size 42, they felt fine barefoot, however I also purchased Zappos Thorlos walking socks to wear with them, they fit perfectly...love them.

Great for the bigger calf girls - I've had a heck of a time finding boots that fit my calf - the "regular" styles would be too tiny, and I'd be swimming in the "wide calf" styles. I finally got out a measuring tape (I measured about 15") and ordered these, and it's a perfect. I found them to fit pretty true to size. Not too much padding or support, but I'll stick in an insole to remedy that.

Contemporary and comfortable - Beautiful boot which was also comfortable. Unfortunately, they were too modern-looking for my needs. Had to send them back, but did so reluctantly.

I love these boots! I did order a size smaller per recommendation in these boots. After returning 2 pairs of 'wide calf' boots to another company, I was extremely apprehensive about these boots & almost afraid to put them on. But, I did and, several hours later, realized I was still wearing them and they felt so comfortable I forgot to change. I am so pleased!
